  1. Hybrid Theory:

    Crawling

    Cure For The Itch

    (love everything else)

    Meteora:

    Nobody's Listening

    Hit The Floor

    Breaking The Habit

    Minutes To Midnight

    In Between

    Valentine's Day (still really good)

What I've Done (still really good)

    A Thousand Suns(not counting interludes)

    Robot Boy

    When They Come For Me

Blackout or Wretches And Kings (both are still good)

Although the only songs I really dislike from them are Nobody's Listening and Robot Boy.

  2. So I was listening to some LP earlier today and I was thinking of things they could sing over Bleed It Out. What do you guys think about Mike rapping the first verse of Figure.09 and then Mike singing his part while Chester screams his lines.

    "It never goes away [x4]

    Get away from me!

Give me my space back you gotta just

    Go!

Everything comes down the memories of

    You!

I Kept it in without lettin’ you

    Know!

I Let you go so get away from

    Me!

Give me my space back you gotta just

    Go!

Everything comes down the memories of

    You!

I Kept it in without lettin’ you

    Know!

    I Let you go"

I also thought about maybe By Myself too. I don't know, just something different than RME or APFMH. Thought it would be cool to switch it up.

I've seen a lot of posts like this, so I thought I would clear this up: For Mike to rap something over Bleed It Out, the two songs have to have the same speed. This might not make a lot of sense to those who don't play an instrument/aren't musical, but that's just how it is. The reason they do Reading My Eyes, A Place For My Head, and Burning In The Skies is because they all have tge same tempo as Bleed It Out (or very close). Therefore, songs like With You, Figure .09, and By Myself would not work. But, for example, Faint or Part Of Me might (not that they ever would). I know Mike himself has said this at Meet and Greets too, saying that, I think it was Forgotten or By Myself, is too fast. Too fastfor him to physically rap, no. Too fast for Bleed It Out, yes. If We were talkung about Points Of Authority, the live rap outro is about the same speed as Bleed It Out, so the same songs apply. But the intro is different, so Part Of Me, APFMH, etc. No longer work, and Figure .09, With You, etc. could be over it's intro. Make sense?

  4. I suppose what you are saying makes sense, but for example, I was just listening to Given Up from Kansas City, and even on the chorus where there is almost no crowd noise (and no real reason for it). Actually, Chester's vocals sound VERY clean, like cleaner than past years, and the guitar part still sounds very different from 07-08 DSP's (haven't heard any '09). Like if I turn the EQ to Treble Booster on my iPod, it helps a little. Is that just to make it less drastic when the crowd mikes are turned up in the mix?

It sounds to me like Pooch has been leaving the crowd mics open in a more natural manner on the more recent stuff. On the earlier DSPs, whenever the crowd would get really loud, you could tell it had been brought up in the mix because you'd hear the venue's natural ambiance bleeding back into the mix (the result of the crowd mics picking up the sound from the PA speakers), which caused some odd reverb/noise cancelling side-effects. That's been kind of smoothed over lately, but when you leave the crowd mics open all the time like that, it creates a much more open sound like what you're describing.

For 2007, I totally agree. But I think 2008 souns fine, the PA reverb is way less obvious.
  5. It seems like Since ATS came out the DSP's have been sounding different, in a bad way in my opinion. They Sound more bass-y, and the guitar, etc. have sounded.... deeper. Everything sounds more far away. I much prefer the DSP's from previous years. Anyone agree with me or have an explanation why this is?

  6. My setlist was automatically eliminated because I misunderstood the song limit. Thanks Hawk.

Anyway, my vote goes to Bliss. Yes JDM/WFTE is a weak as an opener, but other than that I think troub1eboy's set flows better than Bliss's. I usually prefer to keep most of the slower songs together, to include In The End, and if possible I prefer 2 encores, and Bliss's doesn't have any of those three things.

  7. The band has canceled three shows in Sweden over the years - in 2011 (9/11), in 2003 (Chester was sick) and in 2008 (Brad had an ear infection).

First that should be 2001 (I don't know you copied & pasted from actual thing or if it's correct there), and second, the attacks hadn't yet happened for the 2001 show. The live guide says Stockholm was scheduled for the 9th. They were in Hamburg on the 11th.
  8. I don't want to push this too much and sound like a jerk, but....

And another thing. stl22's set has been eliminated because it had 28 songs and the top was 25, sorry I didn't notice before

What? Like I said before, I thought it was 25 NOT counting interludes. That's what it seemed like when you were discussing it at the beginning, so I added in 3 interludes. If it was clearer that it was 25 WITH interludes, I would have done that. Sorry about that. Any chance I can get back in somehow?

    Can I?

    12. Iridescent

    13. Numb

XDDDD so the same like the night before :P but maybe this time the full set ^^

No, it changed a little. WJL/Iridescent opened the encore in that set before. Wonder if it's Blackout or the Catalyst tonight?
