  1.

Well the problem with songs like With You or Runaway is they need a specific guitar to play those. It's not like From The Inside, Lying From You, or A Place For My Head, where they have the guitars needed to play those in the rig already. I do agree some rotations in the set would be a welcome change.

As for the OML songs, those are some of the best songs in the set right now. TTM, GG, Invisible, OML, all are fantastic additions

They can easily and quickly switch out guitars. As for the OML songs, they're not for me. I think they are even worse live than they are on the album. They bring the whole set down IMO.
  2. I don't understand why at this point they can't rotate songs in and out at will. You're telling me they can't play a song like With You without practicing it for a month? Keep a basic set structure and rotate older songs nightly. Plenty of bands do it. And stop playing everything from OML....because it's awful, and a real downer at a live show 😁😁😁

TTM, BID, COG, GG all in the first 7 songs is beyond awful.

It's number 1 because it's Linkin Park, not because it's pop. Unless you say every album was a radio friendly pop record.

THP didn't get to #1...why do you think that is? Do you notice any differences between that record and OML? Get real man, they made a pop record so they could get on top 40 radio and make a bunch of money. It's painfully obvious.

If you don't like this, fine, but talking like it has nothing positive is just absurd. All a matter of perspective. And it's not even that much different, a lot of LT songs would sound just like this album if the band used trap-like production and turned the guitars' volume down a little bit.

Maybe so, but they didn't. I don't love LT, but it's a masterpiece compared to this crap.
  5. Pretty sure you're the one who started the private messaging thing with me. But, as usual with what you say to me, I really don't care.

Grow up , everyone has an opinion including you talking shit all the time.I'm seriously sick of your negativity as If LP commits crime by releasing this album . we get it it's not your taste doesn't mean that others can't praise it .

It's as close to a crime as they could have committed. The album is pure dog shit. You're sick of me??? Too bad..I couldn't possibly care any less.

  6. Looking forward to the next six months of replies like this from you every time someone has anything positive to say about this record.

Also looking forward to the inevitable "WHY DO YOU HAVE SUCH A VENDETTA AGAINST ME" private message too.

  7. I'll post my full review tomorrow via my website, but goddamn this album is fantastic. It's not perfect and yes, I'll admit it could have been done a bit more creatively, but just the pure emotion and fantastic use of what would otherwise be generic pop sounds in a more matured and less sell-out way works great for them. Sorry For Now is perfect, and OML (song) isn't far behind.

    Fantastic?? Yeah, no.

  8. Just hand a chance to listen to all the songs I hadn't heard yet. 0/10. Worst LP album by a mile. I have no idea what they were going for, or how they listened to this and thought this was what they should release. It's nothing more than a weak attempt at becoming radio relevant again. I'm embarrassed for them. First album I won't buy.

  9. This band needs to disband.

Chester is much better with STP or DBS.

Mike is much better with FM.

The others don't really do shit on this album. I hate it. I think/hope this is the end of LP.

LOL....I thought I was down on them....

  10. My problem with it, is that it's bad. Simple as that. Generic, boring, very little reason to listen again, pop music. If they want to explore different things, cool, just keep it interesting. This is radio friendly garbage. They can say what they want, but this is a blatant attempt to get back on top 40 radio stations, and make a bunch of money again.

  11. I didn't assume anything. I asked a simple question. I like all types of music myself, I was just wondering what people who like this were also listening to.

If I want to listen to heavier music, I'll look for a heavier band. What's the problem?

  12. To the people saying they "love it", what other bands do you listen to? Do you like pop music in general? Because anyone who leans toward rock, or harder music, can't possibly like this crap.

  13. There are a lot of guitars on the new album.

That may be so Mark, but they're not the guitars I'm looking for. Turning them way down in the mix, and relying on beats and noises Mike makes on a computer is what I hear on a majority of the songs released. And honestly, I'm not totally against that for a few songs, but not in every song on the album.
