Yeah, I would have been pissed if I was the Headliner and somebody came and threw shit in my face. See Grohl's comment about not knowing how to play instruments. Chester was very quiet in the M&G, the other guys were up but Chester was just chillin in the corner... His "Thank you Foo Fighters for the surprise" was hilarious since there was a hint of sarcasm there.

Oh and Brad's guitar took 10-15 seconds to kick in on Numb too. I thought it was a new stripped version. Also, did anybody pick up on Mike's higher pitch for the first 5-6 songs. He sounded like a damn chipmunk on WTCFM. Vocoder might have been fucked up at that point or somebody left it on.

Crowed was at 80% 5 songs in and at 50% capacity going into WJL encore intro which pissed Chester off even more and "for everybody still here stand up" followed.

Sloppy but nothing beats OSC and APFMH over BIO.

Looks intriguing.....I like the look so far but I agree black and white would disappoint somewhat.

I'm thinking it'll be black and white until the guitar bridge kicks in then it'll morph into color. For whatever reason the new Tron comes to mind, where our world is 2D and the grid is 3D. I'm really curious to see how well Bay is going to utilize 3D in DotM.

Yah you figure KROQ might promo something else next week. (who knows, new Foo Fighters tour dates, idk). I'm thinking by May 2nd, they will have announced Weenie Roast and I'm still confident that LP will do that show too.

in other news, LA Rising, GREATEST SHOW EVER!!!! Muse is my favorite band to see live. I've heard RATM kills it on stage too! (been waiting to see them for years)

The possibility that Muse would play an aggressive set and one can wish that the world is given a Matthew Bellamy/ Tom Morello Face off to the death.

Saturday June 4th, 2011 KROQ Weenie Roast y Fiesta! Irvine, CA.

 

If LP is doing a radio show for Live 105 in bay area, then they would most likely do another KROQ show to stay loyal to their hometown. I love coming up with realistic predictions for LP shows!

 

(Last year, Weenie Roast was Saturday June 5th and BFD was June 6th. There were similar bands at each event)

 

P.S. if LP was added to the July 30th show for RATM, Muse, and Rise Against. HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!

Ha, most of the ones in So Cal had midnight openings for Halo. If they put out LP they probably would have picked up a ton of sales from that as well.

My Best Buy was boomin with people picking up the album. I was kinda mad that BB only had a tiny ass section in the new releases. Should have at least had a cutout shipper for more visability...

The head security guard had 5-6 in his hand when he gave mine back. Wonder if they deleted the memory on the others.

Only reason Mike's not on guitar here is because the BIO performance was completely unplanned, so he didn't have his guitar with him.

Mike was teasing us with intros to W&K, WTCFM then said, "Nope, can't play that one" Joe was teasing with Numb. Brad started playing BIO then they went with it. Mike was antsy and played the air guitar a few times.

I'm surprised you managed to record the whole song. Every time I saw someone whip out a camera/phone, security stopped them pretty quickly.

I was deep enough into it. They didn't pull it until right before TC Live. I was able to slip the SD out of the cam before they took it.
