Animals, Fear, Drum Song
-
To be fair, none of their albums have songs that sound the same. I don't like this album, but it is worth a listen for some songs.
-
Disappointed.
-
Most of the complains I have seen are about lyrics. I really don't care about lyrics because when I listen to a song, I usually just focus on the music. If the lyrics were just gibberish, it would still be fine for me.
-
Not great, but good nonetheless. I'm starting to enjoy the album.
-
Watching the show right now, really amazing performance!
-
Love it. This gives me hope for the album.
-
Honestly, right now I wish they made an album similar to MTM. I love ATS but want it to remain unique.
-
Finally, a song that I like on this album!
-
For me ... every version without Kiiara is the best lol
I liked the Facebook performance too
-
Wow, he sounds great live. Every version seems to be better than the studio.
-
To me this is making Heavy sound better. Heavy grew on me after a while, but this won't because I will most likely not listen to it again. What's worse is that there would be only 10 songs, 2 of which we now know suck!
-
Wow. I'm gone for a couple of days and this happens. Thank you Almamu and LinkinParkDrew for this amazing find!
-
I didn't like the studio version, but it has grown on me a little. The live performances are both really awesome, and much better than the studio version.
-
What's funny is that this song would be just fine if it was Kiiara feat. Linkin Park.
It actually sounds to me like that. I mean, I know they wrote the whole song, but it doesn't feel Linkin Park to me.
-
I agree with others, Kiiara sounds better on this song. Really wish they had not taken this direction with this album, but its just one song so who knows.

IGD was a Fort Minor song before Fort Minor was a thing. It's a song that Mike wrote and did all of the instruments/production for, except the scratching. But since Mike wasn't doing a solo project yet, he made it with the X-Ecutioners collab in mind and it ended up on their album. I'm sure the song was always intended to be on Built From Scratch, but that doesn't really make it any less of a Mike song.
Thanks for clarifying that. I always wondered why it was an X-ecutioners song even though Mike wrote it and they just did the scratching. Still, the song could have fit an LP album, if Nobody's Listening can.

maybe vinifeijo has mistaken Corey for Chino (who actually said he hates LP), since both were nu metal stars.
You mean the guy who collaborated with Mike on Raid soundtrack?

Really interesting read. I don't post much, but I've been a member here for a really long time, and am glad to be a part of this community. Thank you for such hard work you guys have put in for all of us fans, and congratulations on the 10 year anniversary.

There used to be a thread about this, which I'm unable to find right now.
-
Because the song was going to be a single whether it was on the Transformers soundtrack or not.

Yeah but the version was released on the soundtrack album, not ATS. I think it should be treated like Reanimation singles.
-
Why so many people think that Iridescent is a single from ATS?
I don't think that. It's a single from Transformers soundtrack album. The arguments are:
1 - the artwork of that single is in the Transformers style not in the style of album ATS or other singles from ATS;
2 - the single have individual version of the song Iridescent and that version is not available on the album A Thousand Suns;
3 - back cover of that single says: track 1 from the reprise album Transformers: Dark Of The Moon - The Album
You are right, it should be Transformers OST single I think.
Quick question about the LPU 30 days free trial. When the 30 days are out they don't force you to buy any membership right? It just over and you don't have any access to the restricted LPU
Yup
