Reception from who? reviews from who?

Metalheads that expected metal, or popheads that do not want a new band in their pink bubbly world.

OML is far better, musically and production wise than many pop records of its year.

I also think Sean is not really the right person to talk about all those personal details bout Chester... like why is that necessary right no? idk

Its not their best work, sure, but it was deeply personal to them. If you (i mean people in general) dont like it, then dont listen. But nobody is entitled to shit on somebodys work. Its called respect

Reception and reviews from critics and fans. If something is released, it will have reception and reviews. You cannot just expect people to not talk about what they don't like. If they follow a certain artist, they will talk about it. Agreed that it can be more respectful instead of constant trolling. As for Sean talking about Chester, he was his friend. If he is asked about him, of course Sean will answer. Why is he not the person to talk about it?

Do they endorse Joe "sniffer" Biden?

About the topic; black and white it a 100% DMCA thing period. Thy should had left it like that, just a legal thing. But now they made it a political thing. Musicians should try to stay away from politics for the sake of their fanbase.

Anyone, celebrity or not, should be allowed give their political opinion. Also its hilarious how people in the comments were saying celebrities should stay away from politics, while supporting a president who was a celebrity...

  3. One of the biggest bands in Pakistan released an album a few years ago. Thing about here is that no CD's are published anymore because of piracy, so what they did was burned CD's themselves and printed the artwork, and sold those packs. They held meet-and-greets in a few cities which was the only place you could buy them. I hope he does something similar with the artwork.

  4. Given how the OML songs had external writers, which affected how the band shares writing credits, how will this affect LPU? Can they put songs from OML on LPU albums (if they ever return)? I'm guessing they will probably have to share the royalties, but these aren't like regular album sales. How will that work?

They did get credit on BMI, so they probably are getting songwriting royalties. But again, it'd be in poor taste to have all these outside songwriters bundled in with 3-5 other people who didn't actually help write the songs. Like, "Why do these guys get the same credit I do when I actually did the work", ya know?

This, and then the actual writers would probably get lesser royalties because of the division, which would also be unfair.

  6. To me THP sounds like an album that was heavy just for the sake of being heavy. They forced themselves to make the songs heavy for some reason, maybe to please the fans or whatever. The result was not that great, so they were probably like fuck it, if heavy isn't going to work anymore, we'll try something else entirely, which I guess resulted in OML. But I don't have any proof for all of this, its just the feeling that I have.

    - "Are there LP or Post Traumatic songs you listen to on your own to jam out?" -> "Not really, I don't really listen to my own stuff that much. Please don't wake up to my songs. Because my experience has been that waking up a song, you eventually just hate it. I always hate every song that I use as alarm clock."

I used to have Asbestos as my alarm, and God, I started to despise that song!

Oh yeah he has been tremendous lately. Right now we are doing audio first, so he sent me his audio collection. Next, I am getting the collection from nkramar to cross reference with it. SergSlim will see what he has to fill in, etc. It's going well so far, it's just me that is slow with properly tagging, naming, etc the shows and finding the best quality version out there so far for each show.

Thanks for all the guys all of you are putting in. You guys are awesome.

This one kinda drags on forever without really going anywhere. Some cool ideas in there still and I'm sure if Mike were to actually work on the song more he'd trim a lot of the fat and make something really cool.

Yeah I liked it in the beginning, but it just went on and on. Felt too long.

Damn took that long? Had mine for like a month or more, but then again I’m from the U.S. Anyways, seems like there is actually no promo code and nothing else has ever been said on it. So I guess we just don’t get 3 dollars off like it said. Haha. Promotion is a joke for this remix album and always has been.

Oh it was delivered on time. I don't live in US so I had it delivered to US branch. A coworker had gone for work, he returned yesterday with it.

Don't like the video at all. Did they really have to constantly show the empty mic? It started to piss me off after a while honestly. The music video version of clickbait..

Really? That is what I loved. It was a really respectful gesture.
