  1. After months of speculation on the next single from Linkin Park's fourth studio album "A Thousand Suns", today we have received word that the third US single taken from the album will in fact be "Iridescent".

The single which is currently slated for a May 17th release as an internet single follows "Waiting For The End" which was released last year in October, and "Burning In The Skies" which saw an International release in March.

There's no word on whether or not this ties into "Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon" but if Joe Hahn's tweets and other rumors are anything to go by, it's a possibility. As this information was shared privately from an unspecified source, there's no official statement. We'll keep you updated on any changes or developments. keep an eye on linkinpark.com for official confirmation.

Edit : Joe Hahn give new tweet "Do robots and leather look good together?"

I assume it's for Transformers : DOTM but maybe he just playing around..

  2. I guess the new music video will probably for TF3 soundtrack which most people said "Iridescent"..

Just like "New Divide" music video..

Maybe if we're lucky, they might release another song other than Iridescent..

They should release a song which Mike rapping the whole song such like "Wretches And Kings" or "When They Come For Me"..

Based on my thought, they always released a single that Mike rapping on it like Bleed It Out..

So,I hope they will release between those 2 song..

    :)

  3. Music For Relief, the Linkin Park founded charity organization, is once again taking donations, this time for the disastrous earthquake and tsunami that took place in Japan on the 11th of March.

Mike Shinoda today took part in some radio interviews to discuss the action Linkin Park are taking with Music For Relief to help aid and relief efforts in Japan. He discusses the recent T-Shirts he designed and also talks about the upcoming Download to Donate: Japan which will feature a new Linkin Park instrumental titled "Issho ni", which translates to "We're In This Together", DTD: Japan will also feature other artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Flyleaf and Angels & Airwaves.

  6. Yeees! I want to buy the CD as a non-LPUX Annual member. The CD is $10, which is okey I guess, but I have to pay an extra amount of $25.95 of H & S, which sucks.

    Yup,you're rite..

    The S+H is sucks..

I'm living in Malaysia and if change the amount to RM,it will cost me RM140...

    -.-

  7. "LP Underground X : Demos" CD now officially can be purchase at LPUnderground.com...

I just check it just now..

The price for CD quite okay (reasonable) but when it comes to S+H,it's totally expensive...

    -.-

  8. This is a CD of demos.

Most, if not all, of LP's demos dating from pre-2007 (a.k.a. over half of the tracks on this CD) started as instrumentals.

Most of LP's demos never reach the "fully-finished song" stage.

Vocals are nearly always the last part to be put on a finished song.

Anyone bitching about the number of instrumentals on this CD (a.k.a. a large percentage of the posts in this thread) clearly hasn't paid any attention to the numerous times the band has explained their songwriting process over the years. How many totally finished tracks do you guys really think the band has lying around that they haven't already used for something? We're talking about a band that wrote over 150 song ideas for one album and ended up only recording final versions of about 17 of them. There's probably a good reason we only get stuff like Across the Line and Pretend to Be every once in a while.

Please, i'm sure you were one of the people who said lpu9 sucked because it only had one full length song with the rest being demos.

I don't know if people understand the meaning of the word DEMO. It is equivalent to the word IDEA. It is an idea for a song they had. A demon can appear in different forms. It can be a guitar piece. A drum piece, a bass piece, a vocal piece or whatnot. It can be full song with the vocals or only the instrumentals because they couldn't figure out any words to go with it. Basically it can be at any stage of the song writing process until they scrapped it. It is a demo because it was never finished to the level the band deemed okay. So whining about a demo because it is only the instrumental portion or any reason to be honest is redundant and pointless. It's like complaining that your dog barks. Of course it barks. It's a dog. There is a reason the songs were not finished nor included on any album. You can't say you want demos and your complains be that you don't like them because they're demos. People need to seriously get a clue.

I'm totally agree with both of you guys...

    ;)
