Mike doesn't think, the only people who dislike ATS, would be metal heads. Read it again. He said himself, that there are people, who also listen to electronic music and so on, but just can't identify with the new sound.

he absolutely did. he would be stupid if he wouldn't defend his own music, haha. i just think some of the people bashing on the so called "haters" should read mikes post again, or better, wait for the "upgraded" version, and then think about it again.

I don't know if its just me, but I feel like a lot of you are just missing the point. Not saying that you wouldn't be right, but I think, Mikes post wasn't about how much the "haters" suck. Some of you seem to believe, that the only thing, Mike said, was, that he's tired of the "haters" too, but I don't see that. In my eyes, he was trying to explain, that theres no need to bash on people only because they don't like ATS. And theres especially no reason to bash on the people on ITunes - Mike made clear, that he's not just a person who only wants heavy guitar, but that he is also listening to electronic music and stuff. People don't only hate on ATS because its not HT, but because they simply don't like it. Theres also the other way around - people say, I would only like ATS because its by LP, but they also have to think about the possibility, that I like it, simply because I can identify with the sound and because I like what they created. Not because of the people who created it, at least not only because of them. I get that you're tired of the people who are like "I wantz HT back!!!", and a lot of them really seem narrow-minded, but I think thats not the kind of people Mike was talking about. I just feel like some of you missed the point. I don't want to offend anyone, but.. I think some people should just be a bit more respectful towards different opinions. Some of you were already planning again on bashing the shit out of the Itunes guy, talking about how much Mikes blog entry would have been a slap into the face of the "haters" - but I think that has nothing to do with what Mike was planning to say. I had the impression he was trying to defend the people who happen to not identify with ATS. Well, maybe I'm wrong and I'm the one missing the point but.. I don't think so.

I question if some of you even got what he wrote, when you are still talking about "haters" in general.

I bought them too, at least Fabio said he's sure that they aren't fake and he also said he's 100% sure that this is the real mace.

We, as well as some other great LP fans, spent some hours on the train station and took the same train (together with Stefano) home. We almost slept all the time because it was freaking late, so we didn't have much time to talk, but somehow we started to talk a lot afterwards via msn. I found an awesome friend in him, and he is one of the few persons, who I really, truely trust. He became one of my best friends by now. Do you know the kind of people, who make you smile, when you log into your messenger and see that they are online? Well, I'm proud to be able to say, that I'm friends with one of them. This is for sure the first reason, why he truely deserves to win - he gave me a lot with the friendship and even listens after the 10000s time when I complain about random stuff. It would be an honor to be able to give something back to him, besides being his friend. I actually asked Fabio, why he himself thinks, he would deserve to win. Well, his answer was, that he finally wants to be able to browse youporn outside with wifi hotspots. Of course he was just joking, but wouldn't it be nice to make this possible for him with the IPod Touch? I think it would. Well, if you want a more children-friendly reason.. I think he deserves the IPod, so he can even post news and lurk even more when being in the bathroom. Of course this isn't a real reason, since I guess, that a lot of people would like to be able to do so. I guess most of you know Fabio due to his outstanding help with lplive. He did a lot for the community, tries to help in the forums and helped me, personally, to figure out how to behave here, haha. i think the most important reason, why he should win, is simply, that he is a badass person, dedicated to everything he does - friends, work for the community, and above all of course Linkin Park. It would be wrong to say, that he is a greater fan than anyone else here, because I think everyone here is just as obsessed with Linkin Park. Nevertheless, he is an outstanding person, who deserves to get some credit for his helpful and simply amazing character and behaviour.

I think Iridescent was very awesome, though when all of the guys were singing together, there was one of them singing totally wrong, lol. It was kinda cute though and didn't change, that the song was pure awesomeness. I'm suprised how incredibly good Mikes vocals have been.

i'm not sure, but I would disagree with you, since energy.de states chester and rob would have visited them in their studio. and it wasn't even an interview. i could be wrong though.

Seems like Mike and Phoenix weren't the only ones visiting Germany during their promotion tour this year. Chester and Rob visited another german radio station and aired as well as commented on their favorite songs for an hour. Wanna hear what the two guys like to listen to in their freetime? I'm not bitching at anyone, fyi. I asked him a question, because all he does is repeating himself over and over again without saying anything. Its okay that people don't like it, its okay if you're angry with Linkin Park, thats your business. But just to say over and over again "this sucks!" does help nothing at all. its just venting and senseless bitching. no offense, really. don't get me wrong.

i respect you, but STOP saying, that the people who do like the album, would only because they wouldn't listen carefully. thats stupid. I said it before, I think - Only because I personally like the record doesn't mean I'm deaf or stupid. Maybe it just does sound nice to my ears. I like it because of the sound and not only because Linkin Park made it. Stop saying stuff like that, that doesn't make sense.

I think people should start being a bit more tolerate and stop making their opinions sound like facts. Only because you don't like it doesn't mean, that the people who do, are idiots or fools. Grow up.
