I agree, even if they had a good solid album recorded by 2011 it wouldn't hurt to keep working on it for another year or so until it's the best it can be. That's what I think LP is about, the overall quality of their music versus the quantity of albums they can put out each year.

And I think it would really just be too fast, no matter if its good or not. I don't want a new record every year, I want to get used to the new songs, I want to listen to them for quite some time, without being confronted with a completely new record. Of course I would love to get new songs every now and then, who wouldn't, but not a whole new record. It's just too much, and I like the anticipation when after 3 years or something finally a new album is going to be released. I like that.

I would prefer them not to release another album next year, I think that would be too fast. Take your time and make it awesome.

I've never been involved with the trading community or anything and I've read through this thread to try and figure out what the big deal is. Unfortunately I still don't get it. Is the taper going to do something horrible to Biel if he releases the tape? It's been stated that legal problems aren't an issue, so I'm really confused why they just don't release it. What's the point? It's not like we wouldn't appreciate the video. The amount of people asking on this thread shows that. I'm just really lost as to why it sounds like Biel is a dead man if he releases this.

The point is, that the person who "forbid" Biel to share it, is his friend, as far as I understood it. If you promise something to a friend, would you break it "only" because a lot of people want you to do so? (though I totally agree that its stupid of his friend to forbid it in the first place, but thats not my business, though i'd love to see the show as well, of course.)

In the past three days we've gotten demos, the best LPU event ever, and two great shows, and yet there's been so much bitching. x_x good lord.

I don't think he was bitching. I think Breaking the habit is missing too. Only because we get so much awesome stuff doesn't mean we have to suddenly agree with everything. (Apart from the people who ALWAYS complain..)

I'm glad they're instrumentals. As much as I appreciate the effort last time, Mike's "rap" on the Leave Out All the Rest demo was kinda embarrassing. I wished that would have just been a instrumental part. And all the bitching - did we not like "Cure for the Itch" or "Session"? At least they are full instrumentals and not "Hybrid Theory demos" that turned out to be pretty much 30 second clips. I can't wait till everyone is talking about how awesome "instrumental whatever" is in like the next 2 days.

 

 

 

 

I think $10 for a CD is fine and think of the monthly pass as a extra $10 for good seats. Trust me, I've got more than a few gripes with the LPU now, but I don't think that's unreasonable. The CD is gonna get you ripped off if you buy it on eBay.

I actually really liked the leave out all the rest demo. Because of that it's a demo and not the final version - because it might sound embarrassing, i like listening to stuff like that because its special and gives an insight of the progress of the songs.

I wish people would stop telling others that they should be grateful,etc and stop whining.

 

I never usually complain about LP, but we were just shy of a confirmation of this CD being full of B-sides. I don't care if it features the best Instrumental tracks of all time, It's not what most of us wanted or expected.

same here. i transfered my lpu9 account to lpux last week, but i can only log in with lpu9, testing lpux isn't working for me. maybe it's going to change as soon as all lpu9 accounts are transfered.

Man, the new LPU is so stupid. You can't even use a Hotmail account to sign in. It needs to be AOL, Google, Yahoo, this thing called OpenID, and Facebook and Twitter Too bad all I have is the incompatible Hotmail.

no reason to be rude only because she prefers the normal bleed it out version. i loved the apfmh-bleed it out thing, but it's also understandable that some people don't. that should be respected.
