  1. As someone who has been following the band since the early days, listened to hundreds of AUD recordings and DSP's, I have no complaints about the set list. I saw the band in 2007 at BEC and saw them again last night at BEC and the difference was massive. Last nights show was so full of energy and the crowd was passionate and loved the set. The 07 show was good, but the band seemed tired (end of the tour, understandable) and the crowd was no where near as big. Unless you're attending every single show, I have no idea why you would complain about the set list. When you're actually there, you enjoy every minute of it (especially in the front mosh). I could understand someone being frustrated if the set list was the same as 2007... We are lucky as fans that LP even mix up their set lists from time to time. Some bands play the same set, every. single. show.
  2. Seriously?! I was there - fucking amazing performance. If the video turned out, let me know and I can edit the audio from the DSP to the video, and convert it all to an ISO or avi files etc on our uni video editing rigs.
  3. Pooch said the AUS/NZ tour WAS recorded, but Warner Australia wasn't going to make much/any money from it, so they didn't want to sell the DSP's at the shows. Any chance now that we have an official online means of selling DSP's that we might get them? Thanks man
  4. I have a good feeling we will probably get a letter from Warner, asking for links to the DSP's to be removed - since they are now probably going to make a decent profit from it.
  5. What a bloody joke. We are being sold what we already own? Mike said we were free to distribute the DSP's when it originally started. I thought the whole idea was we were going to get something new and exciting that we don't already have, like the Aus/NZ tour that was recorded but not released thanks to Warner in AUS.
  6. just a word of warning for anyone designing shirts: be careful using images that are copyrighted (such as the LP logo). without direct permission from the image owner, some printing companies will refuse to print products for you. I ran into legal trouble with CafePress awhile ago. my whole shirt was designed from scratch, except for one tiny image on the shirt, and because of that one image they refused to print the shirt. so just so everyone knows, logos, professional photos (live and photoshoots), album art etc is all copyrighted.
  7. Im not an LPU member anymore, but I've heard a few of the LPU 8 tracks and I can't understand why people are complaining. I thought the tracks were hilarious, sure they aren't bsides, or remixes or anything special, but its still a good laugh. I think its pathetic that mike felt the need to apologise to fans over the CD. The band decided to have a little light hearted fun, so what. The worst part is, the majority of people who are complaining probably aren't even paying LPU members. If I wanted to renew my membership, I'd have no complaints owning the LPU 8 cd.
  8. someone should pm me a link....
  9. out of interest - how much money did fiasco get out of lplive?
  10. For those of you who have mobile phones that support RSS I encourage you to use our RSS feed to catch up on the latest news and updates. For those of you who don't have a phone that supports RSS, I have got a small site going that allows you to view our RSS as a normal mobile xHTML site. To view it, go to this link on your mobile browser: http://xfruits.com/shadowfax1007/?id=47247 In the future version of LPLive, I'd like to create a proper functioning mobile version of the site. I'll see how it goes.
