listened to it 4 times when it just leaked, then stopped, slept and now two times again. Now I love it even more!!! Awesome work guys! My favourites: 1. Waiting for the end (this will me a megahit, a la numb - that means I will probably get sick of it afterwards ) 2. The Catalyst, 3. When they come for me, 4. The Messenger, 6. Blackout, 5. Iridescent, 7. The Requiem, Least fav: Burning in the skies (not bad just sounds like WID and ND), Robot boy (misses some edge, maybe those synths we hear towards the end should have been more prominent), Wretches and kings(again love the beat, choruses and heyheyheys kill it for me) Even on first listen this is much better than M2M(which I was very disappointed with at the start). We gotta realise this was not made for the existing LP fans and many will not love it(those who love louder music with guitars). However, fans who were growing up with LP and learnt that you have to be open minded and taste and love other genres, as they bring something valuable in too, will adore this record. This a great mix of contemporary sounds, just like HT was in its time!!! Think about it... many of the sounds on the ATS you can hear in songs today by various artists from different genres. But Linkin Park has managed to blend them in a right way, again.

my first impressions(there will surely change): Burning in the skies 8/10 - lp like(m2m edition) When they come for me 9/10 - love the ending!!! Robot boy 7/10 - so and so Waiting for the end 10/10 - great song Blackout 10/10 - total mess it is awesome now, but it so messy I am not sure will I like it later Wretches and kings 8/10 - love the beat, not the heyheyheys or choruses that much Iridescent 9/10 - mike and chester singing nicely together... very U2 like The Catalyst 10/10- ... The Messenger 10/10 - Chester makes you "cry" here... extraordinary performance It's definitely a journey! An awesomely enjoyable one What I can say is that my emotional response after hearing it for the first time is a lot better then when I had just heard M2M. However, first impression after HT was more intense(but then I was just a 12yrs old kid)

I don't like it... that is definite now. I like the heavy beat(I hope the most of the album is this heavy) and verses. However, choruses and those "hey hey hey" parts just kill it for me! And mike's "front to the back" is a deja vu and somehow out of place too. But that's just me! I can't wait for the ATS and I will jump to this in concerts but I don't love it.

not sure I like it... chorus is very bad in my opinion. mike's part gets me up and pumped and then chesters spoils it for me. 5 listens and I still like catalyst better.

Because there is no shirt&CD any more I don't think I will continue my membership, even though it would not make a visible dent on my "budget". And I don't think anyone who is not from USA, UK and Germany should. Why would you? What you should do is wait and if LP announces a concert in your country or you decide to travel to a concert ONLY THEN buy a membership. That is because they cannot offer anything worth 60$ unless it is some kind of personal experience(M&G, concert experience...). Content is not exclusive and chats are not worth 60$. Nothing they can offer online for international members can be worth 60$. End of discussion for me here. Some of you claim this will bring back exclusiveness and feeling special as a fan back. they are not doing bad on iTunes. album is in top 5 and it hasn't come out yet! It was even in top3 for a day. Linkin Park usually better sells albums than singles. + LP has been doing some selling on their own website too. I don't really care if they sell more or less than m2m or meteora... I don't care about numbers. Just want the guys to feel they've acomplished sth and want to keep touring and making music as Hawk said.

ok, after many many replays I have the same opinion about the song I had from the start. I love it!!!! It's one of those songs that you just have to listen with volume on the top of the scale. And it will pull you in!!! I said that lyrics seem a bit repetitive in my previous post. However, just try to sing along! It's a great sing along song and I cannot wait to hear it live!
