  1. Man I love LP, both with Chester and now with Emily. But this fanbase has ruined this whole experience for me. I had to block LP contents on Facebook because of how toxic the comment sections are, as much as I want to see snippet videos of the band performances.
  2. “Can you describe your bottom?” 💀💀💀
  3. Well Mike’s like my dad. Sometimes he has double standards but I still love him.
  4. I won’t mind LP9 to have full of tracks like Its Goin Down or WTCFM
  5. You’re overanalyzing it. If it was an OML demo why would he need to lie about it being from FZ?
  6. ….wait that’s not all. When we all thought the song ended, Daron Malakian came in with a 17-second scream of “WhY dO tHeY aLwaYs sEnD tHe PoOOoOoor” as DJ Lethal concluded the song with a Joe Hahn diss scratch solo.
  7. Sounds generic as hell. Missing 3-minute bass slapping and third rap verse from Rakim and Jay-Z with solos from Steve Aoki and Tom Morello in the outro. Now that’s what I call “ungeneric”. Do better Shinoda.
  8. I don’t know, love UFTB and Unshatter but not feeling this one yet. It’s very different, instead of feeling like a LP track it gives me massive Blink-182 vibe, so kinda get why it didn’t make it to the main tracklist. Either way I’m happy it’s the only track that I just can’t vibe with. The other full songs from FZ are all bangers to me, love this album!
  9. Is it a subtle scratch during the whispering part in Unshatter?
  10. Mike “Don’t-know-why” Shinoda
  11. Good Things Go? guess it’s Good Things Gone now amirite?
  12. Seems like some people can never be pleased. 8 years ago, they complained about how soft the band had become. Now we got a heavy, guitar-driven LP back with angsty nu-metal raps and batshit crazy screams but the “Not LP” argument still hasn’t died down.
  13. Looking for an answer is definitely about Chester though, if you count it as an official LP song.
  14. “I’ll remember you, I won’t let you fade” that’s gotta be written about Chester, do you remember any line in the rapped verses?
  15. Don’t we all miss Chester? And I believe Mike and the guys still undoubtedly do as well. But there’s nothing we can do to change what has been done and we can only move forward.
  16. How is Overflow less a single material than Catalyst? It has a Travis Scott/ Twenty One Pilots vibe that sounds like it could have done very well on the chart. Tbh all songs on FZ sound like they could be singles.
  17. Give them time. They’ve been back not even for a year after nearly a decade hiatus. I don’t think they want to compete with anyone. Moreover at this point in their career, it’s incredible that they’re still doing this well. Let’s not forget how well FZ fare compared to them new bands. Not one of them can even get close to that level of success. In other words I’m just happy that we even get new music. They could have just called it quit after Chester passed and kept releasing unreleased stuff but we’ve been with new stuff after new stuff in only six months.
  18. Why do I have a feeling that they’ll give us more than just one single? Maybe From Zero could be like a series of concept albums similar to Post Human: Survival Horror & Post Human: Nex Gen by BMTH. Sounds unlikely but one can only hope.
  19. I agree not releasing GTG as a single is a huge missed opportunity. But this song is awesome, especially from the bridge onwards.
  20. The more I listen to the song, the more I feel like it was written as a response to Jaime’s shenanigans. Especially the bridge verse, sounds like his description.
  21. Yes, it got that pop-punk/electro vibe from their ‘amo’ era. Some elements sound similar to tracks like ‘medicine’ or ‘mother tongue’.
  22. Is it only me or does it sound more like modern Bring Me The Horizon rather than old Paramore?
  23. I don’t see how a PT song could have had a crazy high-noted vocal, atmospheric Program-esque (Meteora demo) clean riffs. Sure Mike’s raps and the octaves in the third verse sound like PT, but in my opinion that’s where the similarities end.
  24. For me it’s Good Things Go. They’d make a great mistake if they don’t choose it as a single and make a proper music video for it. That song will blow off the charts.
  25. Don’t get me wrong, I like the song and I don’t have any problem with it being a single. It’s just that the last two songs are very powerful and have that “classic LP sound” with the familiar vocal interplay with Mike. Personally, I would release it after the album’s out and instead release a hard-hitting rock song to minimize the controversy. I feel like a 2010-pop-rock sounding Emily-only song would just be a bigger bait for the casual listeners and doubters to say “see this isn’t LP.” With that said I hope you’re right and this will turn out to be another success.
