  1. Vocal melody through every part of the song is very repetitive. Most simple in a whole FZ (Not counting "Casualty". Which has practically no melody at all XD) but instrumental, lyrics and unconventional song structure is big plus. Best Mike vocals too. Definitely not generic.
  2. 2003 Chester yes but I see it more like Chester "In the dark, in the light..." from Mark The Graves. Great song. I hated it after first listen but clicked in second. Guitars reminds me Deftones in general vibe. Generaly I don't like when LP use only guitars and piano as instrumental but lack of electronic elements work this time. Instrumental is huge.
  3. There were a few great proshots from the Pol'and'Rock festival last year. I keep my fingers crossed that Open'er will keep up with the level.
  4. So, it's the first rock/metal festival after coming back with a new line-up. I'm curious about the reception by the mixed audience
  5. Another proof that I was right, that Brad is the new Rick Rubin. xD
  6. Yes. I guess the only reason they played it is because they want to play everything from the original FZ. And it's one of Colin's favorite songs. I hope it will stay for a short time like InBetween.
  7. Music is subjective. For some it's the best song on the album for others it's the worst. My second from the bottom on the list. But I still like it. I usually don't skip songs on LP albums (except for OML album, which I don't listen to at all.😁)
  8. It's good to see Brad Rubin again
  9. It's good to know that it sound so different. Can't wait to hear it.
  10. I have the same feeling about Unshatter. It also seems to me that LYF will have its live premiere before release of FZ:DE for better promotion.
  11. NRL would be ok, but I would like them to redo the whole instrumental. At least that horrible guitarish sample and drums.
  12. I listened FZ today like 4 times with deluxe tracks and I almost have 100% certainty that this vocals were recorded before others. She sound more powerful. Maybe other parts of the song was reworked later in the process but I think this vocals may have been recorded in 2019 during first Mike Emily session.
  13. The phrase that "doesn't sound like an LP" is always funny. Now imagine that you only listened to HT and Meteora and someone played you "In Between". You would immediately say this is not an LP. For the next 10 years, this term will be used very often, you will see.
  14. I think they will play UFTB, FTI, QWERTY.
  15. The most polarizing song from FZ. The most divisive community. Very grunge. It sounds like it was pulled out from "Crimson Chapter" but the instrumental in the chorus is a classic LP. For me best chorus on FZ but I understand why this song isn't on the album.
  16. So song structure is more experimental. A good prognosis for the future.
  17. Local midnight releases? So probably no MV 😞
  18. Recently I watched a concert from this year and I came to the conclusion that the best solution for such a hard tour would be to come back with 3 vocalists (including Mike). Preferably one who plays the guitar. In songs where the other would sing, Emily would play the guitar and vice versa. The band wouldn't need Alex then. xD
  19. Technically Stained vocals are great but the issue is repetitive melody af. That hiting one tone staaaaaind over and over are fkn annoying
  20. LP after the return is so big, that they could record a song for the 2026 World Cup. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that happen XD
  21. Yeah. The interior layout is completely different but some bits are similar. This may have confused people.
  22. I found interesting thing. When I watch this episode I want to know who is the guy working with LP in Eastwood. I saw him in other albums bts. So I researched and found it's Ethan Mates. He is band recording engineer since MTM. When I looked at photos of his home mixing room i noticed it looks familiar. And quick linked it with this photo. 23. I was more concerned with his production input than recording guitar tracks. After all, he is described on the album as co-producer along with Colin
  24. So basicly Colin turned into Brad, and Brad turned into Rick Rubin XD Just kidding. But I wonder how much effort Brad put into this record. Whether his production work consisted solely of adding cues at Mike studio.
  25. Probably band will continue using shorter sets due to busy schedule so this is my spring custom setlist. Adding From the inside, Lost in the Echo to permanet slots. Plus Up From The Bottom, QWERTY as IGYEH bridge to the end of the song. No more Crawling Somewhere I Belong, Braking The Habit, Given Up and Lying from You. Act 1 Inception 1. Heavy Is The Crown 2. From The Inside 3. Up From The Bottom 4. Two Faced 5. New Divide 6. The Emptiness Machine Act 2 Creation Intro 7. The Catalyst 8. Burn It Down 9. Waiting For The End 10. Castle Of Glass 11. Joe Solo 12. Mike Solo 13. Casualty (rotation with KTTK) 14. One Step Closer Act 3 Collapse Transition 15. Lost 16. Good Things Go (rotation with Over Each Other) 17. What I've Done Act 4 Kintsugi Transition 18. Overflow 19. Numb 20. In The End 21. Faint Act 5 Resolution Intro 22. Papercut 23. Lost In The Echo 24. IGYEIH (w/QWERTY bridge) 25. Bleed It Out (w/Cut The Bridge bridge)
