Yes. Yes. Yes. Also yes. I know that somethings are better than others, but i just enjoy listening to them.

THIS. I Thought the same. Like i said on the Scavenger Hunt post, i like the song, even when its the weakest of the 3 singles previous to album release (i will guess that this is the last one before album launch). I see how TEM was like Emily introduction after Mike's intro, HITC had both equally on lyrics, and this is Emily's chance to shine.
-
🤣 i dont know if its that kind of weaker song, is still a cool one for me. I dont have a problem if this is the actual weakest one on the record, if the others are better.
-
For me, its ok but is the weakest of the 3 songs that they put before the album release. I mean i like it anyway, is just is just that Mike said that the rest of the album was going to be heavier than TEM, and this is not heavier for me (maybe he meant lyrically, in that case could be because the lyrics are great and yeah they're heavy in that way). Even then is a great song to let Emily shine. This album seems to me like it's going to be very alternative rock MTM style, but with this synths that are more from the LT times. Even when i like to be surprised, im happy if that's the way for FZ.

no way already?

The fact that the one on Philadelphia its above a sign who says "accidents happen" (having in mind that the pictures we saw of the vid shooting and MV snaps look like there's going to be an car accident) its weirdly appropiate.

"I’m looking forward to sharing this with you all next Thursday" So i guess the song is coming out that day right?

Mexico *Sorry, Spain, i got confused by the ad

well, it fits with what i saw on the stream cam, i cant believe that i recognized it was that at first 🤣

as an Argentina user, thats like our central monument, the Obelisco, thats just in front of that. *btw im sure that i know what martinez is this one 🤣 Also, apparently is just the same thing as the Paris one, but with a different background *that could be (maybe) it, but there's only one camera from the place and it looks like that (i think the LP logo is barely visible down below on the screen)

This is not critic, just something that i look to mention. Emily's voice was a little worn down on this one? I mean its ok that was a lot of a "coming back" month, but its something i noticed on TEM and WFTE (even when i liked how she did on the last note where she screams "got" and it seems that she did a change of tone that turned out well... i think i explained it right, even when i understand english is not my natural language)
-
Yes this, for me first one is not bad but could be better, the second one is brutal, how his last word is "this" and mixes with Emily's start of the chorus.
-
I dont have a problem with them experimenting on one or two songs per album, i liked some songs from that times, but i understand that you prefer the nu metal times (and its ok just in case). I prefer this two new singles kind of music, but i dont have a problem with some experimental.

Meanwhile me waiting for dates on Argentina:

I have a feeling that will be like THP meets LT with a mix of other albums. And yeah, this. If you want to wait until tomorrow just avoid the internet (?). This time I took the liberty to listen to it before (just because I already heard it in the Hamburg live show, if they wasn't played on there i would have waited). Its just sounds as good as the live version, maybe Emily's scream was even better than the live version. This is shaping up to be my favorite album since Living Things (even when i love THP but this is looking to sound even better than THP)

Mike Shinoda and Linkin Park to appear on the Tonight Show 9/17
max91 replied to milkshake227's topic in Newswire
They just put the interview for the time being, i know that later the performance will be too. Its funny how The Roots (the band who plays always on the show) played a particular song when Fallon introduced Mike, i will not say anything... just check it. -

I mean is true that as someone said is not that big anymore, i think the Jimmy Fallon one is like the most popular right now. He's the host since like 10 or 11 years ago already meanwhile the other big host that were up there all stopped doing their shows except for Jimmy Kimmel (Curiously, the last show like these where Linkin Park appeared as a band until now if im not wrong) Also random fact: Mike was one time already on The Tonight Show where he performed "Crossing a Line" I saw some Tiny Desk's before and yeah would be cool, but at the same time it would be interesting to see how they translate certain songs into what their content is. Because i wouldn't expect to see them play KTTK on there 🤣 but yeah if that by some chance ends up happening some time i know i will like it. -
Same! Well at least the music video looks like it was recorded on a film studio called willowstudios (you can see a logo of them on some part of this episode), so i guess that's a good way to keep it a secret. But yeah it clearly looks like like they take it so serious this time with the secrecy. I mean the only bit that you can say it "leaked" some kind of way at the end of the day is what Jay Gordon said back in april by accident that ended up being correct about the "female singer" but except of that absolute secrecy. I expected only an announce that they were back and they just blew our minds with all what happened on sep 5. BTW, i loved the part when Emily asks Joe if he needs some extra "direction you want" and he just replied "You keep doing cool stuff. If I gave you directions, you wouldn't do cool stuff. It naturally comes out of you".
