  1. Could be, but, it doesn't surprise me. Wouldn't be the first posthumous skin they've uploaded I don't believe. But nevertheless, it's news and good or bad, it's gotta be shared. One could argue their goal is to pay tribute. They've a feature for their festival mode with its very own battlepass dedicated to one big artist. Only way I could see this working and not feel poorly thought out is to lock him to the mode, and make him unavailable for Battle Royale or other death oriented games. They've done that for other skins in certain modes in the past. I dunno. It's a touchy subject.
  2. Well, this is an interesting development. Every year, Epic Games sends out a survey to players to try and learn fan interest in potential collaborations for their games, most notably being Fortnite. In years past a great majority of their surveys end up becoming a reality at some point. In their latest survey, Epic teased a great many new skin ideas, including a GTA collaboration, Five Nights At Freddy's, One Piece, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, and on and on. Notably, in the lucrative Celebrity section, Chester Bennington (Linkin Park) was added as an option. More often than not, when a celebrity is teased, they end up coming to the item shop at some point down the line. Could Epic be interested in a Chester Bennington skin akin to that of other artists such as Eminem in the past? This is the first time Linkin Park has been added to this survey in any facet before. https://x.com/iFireMonkey/status/1768421184054362405?s=20
  3. Doesn't look like we're going to be getting those. Always a chance they show up, though. These weren't showing up beforehand.
  4. It seems Linkin Park's exclusive vinyl tracks are hitting more and more stores. LOST DEMOS (Originally a Record Store Day Exclusive from my understanding) and The Rising Tied's Deluxe Edition have both just landed at my FYE where I work. On top of this, we're slated to get the Dead By Sunrise Out Of Ashes exclusive vinyl as well! If you missed out on the other vinyls or are waiting on DBS, keep your eyes peeled. Not sure how many copies we're going to be sent. We've one each right now.
  5. I play every once in a while with my buddies and my brother, it's a fun little mode. Not sure if you can play with other people online on Rock Band, I've never had it myself, but it's kinda neat to dick around to stuff on there. Forcing them to play Numb will be a treat after how many goddamn Weeknd songs I've been forced to play. Plus earlier P!ATD and Paramore are in this lineup.
  6. Kind of a different idea, what do we think a potential LP Iceberg would look like? Things like Pictureboard/Be Yourself, Hardly Breathe, TTTAMP/Lost/Resolution/Wizard Song, etc etc etc. I think compiling some ideas could give us a good look at what one might look like, and someone (maybe me) could throw one out. I dunno, just a random thought I had last night.
  7. Lost was my Number One LP song last year (Shatter by Code Orange was my overall but that's because of a pro wrestler who had as big of an impact on me as Chester passed away, and that was his walkout theme), with Fighting Myself close behind. I love these demos but I can certainly see why they weren't present. Lost has this really weird vibe on the verses instrumental but I think it would have been a good replacement for Hit The Floor. Fighting Myself definitely feels like it belongs but that's just me. MTV's lyrics feel SUPER demo-ish. Close to being finished but definitely not finished. I don't think Massive needed Chester vocals, I like it as it is, but still wouldn't put it on over any other tracks. Healing Foot I think is close to being one that would go on, maybe over Nobody's Listening or Figure.09? The rest are nowhere near finished to consider.
  8. It is pretty much Rock Band in Fortnite. It'll be applicable soon, they're apparently gearing up to release some stuff on it soon according to some leaks.
  9. So basically, every non-released thing to ever exist. Lol.
  10. See for me, as far as final tracks on Albums go, for me it goes Numb, TLTGYA, PMA, Powerless, Messenger, Sharp Edges and ALITS ranking wise. I love that song as an ender, can't see it being put anywhere else on the album personally
  11. I like this actually. Personally couldn't see myself getting rid of Forgotten, but I have very specific memories of it so it's different for me. Not sure about BIO ending MTM but I think if it was more like they did live I could see it
  12. The tagline speaks for itself. If you had the ability to rework any of the first three albums to incorporate other songs in place of what's present, what would you shift? I'll go first. - Note, the number of tracks STAYS THE SAME. No 13 Hybrid Theory tracks or 25 MTM tracks, lol. HYBRID THEORY 1. Papercut 2. One Step Closer 3. With You 4. And One (2001 cut) 5. Crawling 6. Runaway 7. Reading My Eyes (Though obviously reworked a bit to better vibe with the rest of the album, they definitely could have done it) 8. In The End 9. A Place For My Head 10. Forgotten 11. Part of Me 12. Pushing Me Away METEORA 1. A.06 (Leads into) 2. Fighting Myself (Short Intro, No Reverse Vocals) 3. Somewhere I Belong 4. Lying From You 5. More The Victim (Reworked slightly, likely, with more refined vocals) 6. Lost 7. Easier To Run 8. Faint 9. Figure.09 10. Breaking The Habit 11. From The Inside 12. Healing Foot (Maybe renamed to Restraint or Plague or something) 13. Numb MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT: 1: Wake 2. Given Up 3. Leave Out All The Rest 4. Bleed It Out 5. Shadow Of The Day 6. What I've Done 7. What We Don't Know 8. Across The Line 9. Valentine's Day 10. No Roads Left 11. In Pieces 12. The Little Things Give You Away
  13. We got a note from Brad, but aside that, a note about how we should ask Brad why there's no THP, just a comment from Mike on an instagram post, and Joe + Dave teasing in the Broadcast Channel on Instagram. The boys love instagram. Thankfully, so do I.
  14. It did used to hit for me, a few years back. But listening now... for me Linkin Park's 'Jesus of Suburbia' is The Catalyst. THAT track has a story to tell. I wish I still liked ALITS like I did but it just doesn't hit these days
  15. It is epic, has a great vibe, I just think the execution is poor for a track from Linkin Park
  16. Don't make me vomit. Lol
  17. Call me Matpat Lite all you want. I have a theory. During the tease for Friendly Fire, Linkin Park began the Green era. Green is the last name of Friendly Fire Co-Write. Thus, Friendly Fire. 14 is left a mystery to us. One might say the number 14 is... out of reach? A guy can dream.
  18. Scary that this logic is something totally reasonable. Lol.
  19. Yes, this is true, HOWEVER, knowing LP we'll get a CD/Vinyl setup alongside it. In that respect, I don't mind it whatsoever.
  20. Alright, I threw together a Playlist and slotted Pictureboard into Song 14 solely because it's the biggest mystery song we've ever had, makes sense to put SOMETHING there to get a better track-listing idea. So the album should be roughly an hour and 5 minutes if this is a general idea, but that's only if you don't factor in any extra tracks. You'd think they'd include even one THP song, Final Masquerade, Until It's Gone (without the weird baby sound) or GATS since I know they at least enjoy THOSE tracks. I could see them doing 5 more tracks to bring it to 24. Less odd than 19 and more or their number of tracks in a setlist.
  21. Us on the other hand, we're insane about every little detail. For good reason, of course. All we know for SURE is that an unreleased track releases this month. It's identity and anything following is up in the air. I'd love to see this be teasing some kind of tour, perhaps the Mike Shinoda and Friends listing from a few months back? But I'm not getting my hopes up. Side note, part of me feels like the reveal will come on the 29th. Just for shits and gigs.
  22. If anything I expect us to get the Acoustic Final Masquerade on streaming. That's about all I can expect from them for THP until 10 years from now.
  23. You weren't kidding about us getting loaded up with our grails the last few years. Pictureboard, Could Have Been, Hybrid Theory EP on Streaming, Lost/Thoughts/Resolution/Wizard Song (still fucking insane that it's all one song from different eras of Meteora), we got Cumulus, The Drum Track demo, a SHIT TON of Meteora track demos (Cuidado is still a phenomenal little demo) plus all the proshots I don't have the time or care to mention because jesus christ they've been hooking us up. It gets harder and harder to decide on our grails, BUT, there are some things I personally need to see still. - Deftest (We were SO FUCKING CLOSE and you mean to tell me NOBODY fucking snagged it???) - Dreamer, Weight, P O I N T I L L I S M, Ashes, and Turn to Grey - Live Recordings of Pictureboard, Part of Me (I NEED to know which set of lyrics/screams over pre-chorus or not/"I feel it every day" over the bridge they went with) - A live Xero show (I'll take anything at this rate, Mark OR Chaz even if I don't like the Mark stuff all that much) - And One (Live Studio Ver.) - Grecian - No Roads Left with Chester (This ain't a want, baby, it's a need) - Fire in the CIty - Get What I Deserve - Friendly Fire - Fucking Awesome (HOW is nobody curious about this? Chaz clearly liked it a lot to call it 'Fucking Awesome' and Brad clearly really wanted it too.) - Ricochet - Looking For An Answer (Studio)
  24. I mean, sure. But we gotta remember that we got most of those POA demos over an extended 20-year period with the LPU. I think it's fairly safe to say that if other takes existed, they're either just not great or bare-bones as fuck. I feel like HT is a different case with those super bare-bones demos and beats because that's their first album, and seeing the early makings of THOSE songs is far more interesting to most than for their sophomore album.
