Also their album leak response is reminding me of the time Adam had a Twitter meltdown over the Dead By Sunrise album "leaking"...on the day it was officially released in Japan. Lol.

    Lol 🤣

    the meme is hilarious

The only time I remember hearing that Mike or anybody in LP was upset personally by any leak was WAYW, which is fundamentally different since that song was not at all slated for release and was never meant to be heard by the public, at least in that form. That's not the same thing as having a completed album leak before it's release date, which happens all of the time to literally anyone with even the slightest buzz surrounding their album.

And again, before someone responds by saying they're right to be angry, that's not the point. If the next big LP release leaks before it's release date, and the official LP twitter posted "If anyone can tell us the individual's name who leaked the album, we would greatly appreciate it" it would be just as pointless and I would say the same thing. Let the label handle that stuff. It should be beneath the band to post things like that. What's done is done. You can't put the genie back in the bottle. The album is out there and that's that. Sorry you chose to delay it and now it's leaked, but that's what happens. Take it as a lesson learned and move on.

This so much. Literally the only famous artist that i can think of right now that albums dont leak somehow is for example Beyonce. But she has released her last 4 albums as a suprise so maybe thats why i dont know. But literally almost everybody’s albums leak before the premiere even if its just a day before.

i would laugh hard if LP has written something like that xD also albums leak a lot a day before when they are already in stores. Also it happened few times with other artists that sometimes some stores start to sell the album one day too soon lol.

Do you really shit on them because they did listening party for fans?

It's against law to share your copy with third parties. Wow. I feel sorry for them that didn't think before about it, but I feel more sorry for them about people hating on them in this case. Stealing is still stealing, not matter how it's done.

It's rude when you trusted to share album with CB fans and then the album is going out without any permission. It wasn't an official premiere.

Putting a legit mp3 leak aside they are fools to think nobody in the planet Earth would make a simple af rip from the stream the had around the world. Did they think people will just watch it and forget about it until June or what? THE DELUSION. It was obvious people would do multiple rips and nobody will care to buy the actual album in June beside collectors and hardcore stans so the stream and the delay of the premiere didnt make any sense to me from the beginning.

Wow, so much drama 😮 The only thing missing in this thread....Geki! lol Can we unblock him for a couple days just to make this drama perfect? ;)

But jokes aside...I am not up to date with this drama but I am inclined to trust Hahninator and Astat on this one. Hence, won't be spending any money on this.

Forum would probably Turn into flames and dust lol joke

Linkin Park later on traveled in two groups to the shows. It is extremely common for almost every large touring band to have a host city on tour where they stay at one hotel in one city then fly in and out for the shows. Sometimes you'll keep the same host city all tour, sometimes you change it 2-3 times. For example, Metallica would use Nashville as a host city when touring the southeast. They fly to Charlotte, play the show, bam then they fly right back to Nashville to sleep in the same bed. People from Foo to Coldplay to LP to Metallica to U2 to Rolling Stones etc do this. When you bring your family on tour it makes it easier for them to also stay in one place and not change hotels every single show.

In Europe for the later part of the band's career it was Mike, Chester, and Dave in one city and then Joe, Rob, and Brad in another. It could be the first group is in Paris and the second is in Copenhagen, or one group is in Berlin and the other is in Brussels. It changes every tour and sometimes changes mid tour too depending on the routing, so maybe you stay in 2 hotels during the tour. One common theme has been the band staying in Berlin a lot over the years which Mike has talked about at length in interviews, calling it a "home away from home" for him and Anna.

So it just makes sense for the 3 of them to fly in to a show together and fly back, then the other 3 fly in together and fly back. This means Mike and Joe hypothetically won't see each other from show 3 to show 4 until they arrive preshow. If you look at Joe's "Carry On" exhibit from Europe 2017, you'll see some photos of the band traveling in groups on planes, etc to the shows. I believe that indeed, you see Mike, Phoenix, and Chester together at times. In the USA, sometimes they'd fly on helicopters to shows in the northeast region.

In the WORST CASE scenario, this also helps prevent the entire band being lost at one time if the 0.000000000001% chance of a disaster or catastrophe happens, so that the other group can continue on with the band's affairs in the future.

Early on, they were on tour buses and all that but MTM is when they shifted to flying to shows.

Wow thanks Man! That is a solid info and i had no idea about it.  I like to get to know facts like that.
you are also right about the worst scenario... we had a catastrophe like that in Poland where a president and the most important people from the government and army  travelled in one plane that had an accident and 96 people died. So yeah theres that.

Thanks for this, i'm to lazy to check out the stream ❤️.

Is sad what happend with the Hold It Together since pretty much the rest of the album has a music video

Thats why i came up with the idea of these topics cause i know not everybody can or want to watch it.

    - LP worked out on tour but not as a group, but he worked out with Chester and Phoenix. He tried to stay with those two on tour (meaning the same hotel) whereas Rob, Brad, and Joe stayed together. It basically boiled down to those three being the most social but also liking the same style of hotels.
    - Mike said Chester loved working out and would work out twice a day quite frequently.

I didnt know they were staying in two different hotels. Now it makes sense why Mike is having a strong bound with Dave till this day from what i have observed.

it really showed Chester was working out even twice a day cause his muscles were popping. I remember he has also said in one interview he like to wake up like at 5am or so to have a day only for himself for few hours and workout then.

What social media drama have they started? Im out of the loop

We are talking about the old drama aka them promoting album as a brand new, never released before, lost songs from Chester plus they have used his photos from LP to promote the album

What is your opinion about this. Should I move all of those to the "Singles" section or keep them in "Others"?

If it's about the "Singles" section, I'm adding only releases which are  confirmed to be the official singles from the album. For example all singles from THP have own covers + they are in the discography on the band's official website. So that's clear enough.

But if it's about the ones from the "Others" section, I always though they should be in the different section. All of them had the album cover. Besides NRL, all of them were released during the pre-order as another track from the album. There was no a clear statement if any of those are the official single or not.

Another example - DBS released the track "Fire" on September 1st. It was during the pre-order of the album. The track had album version of the cover. Later, when the band decided that it will be the next single, they released the track again on December, this time with it's own cover.

Why is Good Goodbye in others? I thought it was the official single from OML?

  10. Ok I will be honest it is not the kind of pop/edm music i like to listen to on a daily basis. I don't like the beat. I like verses by Mike though. Song is enjoyable indeed but i am not seeing any rock music stans from here digging it lol. I listen to pop as well but this is not the type i am leaning to the most. I can see it being a single though. I am not a fan of Aoki in the first place so maybe this is why i am not the biggest fan of this new song.
