this should be the band motto at this point. i have always admired the ability to do something completely different with every album, even if critical/fan reception isn’t fully on board right away. they really stuck to their guns and that rocks.

i’m sure this has been said a lot recently but it feels like there’s something in the air for the future of the band. there has been a steady build of momentum since the release of Friendly Fire that i don’t remember seeing with the two anniversary projects. obviously the band is still active and has been trying to make things work post-2017, but with the release of Papercuts, it almost feels like they’re closing the door on that era of the band and moving towards the future. i don’t care what the genre is or if they add a new member, i am all aboard seeing what comes next, and hopefully we will see that soon.

this was clearly done on purpose to give hardcore fans something to do 😆

if true, i trust the guys judgement. but even if not true, it’s just cool to see activity within the band the past year.

i think these are neat! always nice to dig into the layers of Chester vocals. as for the instrumental, i am still in love with Brad’s guitar work.

As many of you know, a post is going around from Pulse Music user altguy which mentions a new "lost Linkin Park track (from final album sessions)" to be released towards the end of this month. Looking at this user's previous rumor drops on the site, he seems to be fairly credible, but what are your thoughts? Could this be an unheard song from the One More Light sessions? best way of streaming for me atm is Apple Music, their integration of Local Files is so much easier than Spotify’s. i’ve got all the LPUs and landmark concerts on my phone whenever i need them which is awesome.

new single brings forth the same speculation we’ve had for 6 years… i think it’s a little unfair to expect that the guys know the answers yet, and if they do, it wouldn’t be announced through a solo song.

Song's good, not my favorite he has done, but if there's one thing Mike can do, it's to write the catchiest melodies. It's already stuck in my head.
