In comparison, Lies Greed Misery sounded bad live and they kept it around for the entire touring cycle lol

Are you saying it's going to have all 8 LPTV episodes from the Meteora tour? and then additional content on top of it? -
Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition) | Out April 7, 2023
LPLStaff replied to BeardyWilderness's topic in Newswire
Well I did say I'd do it last night but I got distracted watching Music for Relief 2005 on YouTube LOL, it's up now. -
Not yet on Spotify, it could be just a little early because they JUST released Lost so this probably wouldn't happen for another few weeks. They'd definitely spread them out. Fighting Myself - updated the wiki with info on it https://linkinpedia.com/index.php?title=Fighting_Myself Mike considers it 90% done, so he wouldn't consider it a "fully complete" non-album track, but it is close so that's good enough to release since they did "In the End (Demo)" for HT20.

Anthony and Mark sat down and ran through the entire Meteora 20 box set, item by item, song by song, over the course of two hours for the Meteora 20 announcement.
-
Apple Music has now updated the track time for "Fighting Myself" to 3:21, usually a good indicator that the song will be the next pre-release track off of the upcoming release. The information is unconfirmed for now, but this has traditionally proven true for Linkin Park's digital releases for upcoming "instant grat" / "pre-release" songs.

Meteora (20th Anniversary Edition) | Out April 7, 2023

Will get it up today and make a thread about it! -
It's like, they are just one half step below "fully completed, finished song" like Lost, No Roads Left, Across the Line, etc. Fighting Myself is only "90% done" according to Mike. Sounds like he touched up the mixes on those too to make them sound good (don't blame him). We'll see how they are.

Hit the Floor sounded off live. Especially when you had something like Figure.09 in there that could come off better on stage. Easier to Run is a good song to open the encore. They should have kept it. Don't play it on Summer Sanitarium, but when that setlist went international to Europe, Australia, Asia, keep it in that setlist to open the encore before APFMH/OSC. They started bringing My December back in that slot, which is fine, but ETR could have been played at 20 more shows after Summer Sanitarium. Bringing My December back in Asia is good. In summer 2004 they wanted an explosive encore with Crawling, Wish, and One Step Closer. They tried dropping A Place for My Head twice to start both summer tours in 2004 but brought it back both times lol

Fixed. April 7. It was changed. -
Easier to Run has a really strong bridge and ending, going right from verse 2 to the bridge.
-
Agreed 100%. They are really hyped up for this, because they have been away for so long and HT20 really had them stuck inside. They are about to kick ass on the promo.

Mike joined TikTok after his Discord appearance with Dave and Joe doing a Q&A, to do a live stream for fans. Of note - he hinted that Rob's drum track from the Making of Meteora DVD may be on Meteora 20!
-
Wow the talk about new Linkin Park in this one is really good. Sounds like LP is going to do something. Like, make new music.
-
Over what? It isn't better than anything that made the album, right? Nobody's Listening maybe?
-
This is truly great. Agreed huge. Can watch Mike talk LP and Chester for hours. Bring it on, we love getting swamped with press. Rock on!
-
To celebrate the release day of "Lost", Mike, Joe, and Dave joined Linkin Park's Discord to talk with fans in audio. Joe Hahn had audio problems, but there were some fun moments!

Great news! With the COVID pandemic past us, Linkin Park is now able to do in-person press and this is the first in-person Linkin Park-related interview in years. Mike visited Nicole Alvarez and sat down to discuss the new song "Lost" and the 20th Anniversary box set, the writing process of Meteora, the evolution of the band, "Fighting Myself", new music for Scream VI, and more! When asked about the expectations from the fans about the band, he said: "I'll say this way. Normally, I'm really trying to just manage expectations a little bit, especially lately in the last few years. It's like, there are certain things that are going to be on the table, certain things that are off the table. With this release, shockingly, I was like, 'I don't think there's very much to say it's off the table. Touring is the only thing, we're not touring right now. But the rest of their immagination, where I know their heads are gonna go, it's like, 'Oh, is there this? Is there that? Can we do this? Can we do that?'... I think to a lot of that it's a yes." He concluded saying: "There's just more music. So, I've got stuff I've produced that are other people's songs, got my own song, and we got the Linkin Park stuff. And that's not even everything that we're gonna be doing around this for Linkin Park fans. So, this is a great time to be a Linkin Park fan." "Mike Shinoda stopped by the KROQ studios for a conversation with host Nicole Alvarez about Linkin Park's brand new song "Lost," the band's forthcoming #Meteora 20th anniversary box set, and reveals he has a solo track in the latest 'Scream' movie."
-
Mike Shinoda sat down with Ted Stryker, a long time Linkin Park fan and supporter, from ALT 98.7 FM to discuss "Lost", the band's new release of "Lost" and more.
-
