I don’t think “outdated” expresses how I feel, but to me is more like “uninteresting”, OML has really great vocals by Chester and Mike, even tho the music was super simple, PT had some good vocal performances but nothing that makes me want to come back to listen to it.

Not putting out WAYW, I mean, throw Chester on the chorus and on parts of the verse alternate it with Mike and maybe rewrite some lyrics to make them less generic and you could have one of the most successful singles of post MTM LP

Really random after a whole year, anyway PT was important in the grief process, but I don’t care much about the record now 4 years on, especially I don’t find myself revisiting any song, sonically wise is not what I look for right now but I respect Mike’s work

I spoke to Cristin Davis on Facebook and he told me the weird distorted noise that sounds like a siren on Spin is a sample of Chester’s voice. Interesting

I like the letters from the band, they are cute. Nothing really interesting so far but it was expected, they said we shouldn’t expect updates about new music.

Yeah same for me with Fort Minor, I listened to TRT front to back like once in my entire life, and I have heard The Phoenix more times than ANY song on TRT. No hate for the project, just never clicked with me and my taste 😊

Who the hell cares about old albums, songs on The Phoenix sound 230 times better, original Spin sounds like randomly generated music with good vocals.

I pretty much agree on the ratings, Amends was more emotional, more sad, this is just a really good record.
