  1. Don’t forget that concerts are more expensive in general. In the past, artist made their money by selling millions of records so peo Me got to see e.g. AC/DC for like 30€. Nowadays no one really cares about record sales so they make their money at concerts and in this case it is for a good reason. And that’s why I always said that even if LP would charge prices like Guns n Roses or Metallic, I could understand it since they are not a small band etc.
  2. Crossing A Line could be a damn mega hit on the radio under LP's name. So catchy but it contains a message, which is different from probably 90 % of the mainstream music. btw.: The best thing of the video was when Mike stood beside a dude with the exact same shirt. It's kind of meme. Looking for Mike? Well look for that red and black shirt Looking forward to the record and expect Mike to announce further shows in both Europe and the US
  3. Same discussion over and over and over again (nice pun)...just let him do his thing. And by the way, Watching As I Fall was quite an aggressive hip hop song - instrumental wise
  4. I guess that Mike is like LP - Cannot be defined by a genre. Maybe more hip-hop driven but he has shown us how different he can sound.
  5. He probably uses these big massive festival shows to promote his stuff. Solo shows can come later
  6. Album is really good as of right now
  7. Hmmm, some are real sensitive..
  8. Two whole different situations...be happy that something is coming and that they don’t let us stay in the dark
  9. He must be overwhelmed for sure. Even the offical Twitter account of the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen tweeted that. https://twitter.com/koepi_arena/status/961276107822596098
  10. First and foremorst, I am thrilled to see him perform. Maybe it is kind of a test for him to already try all kind of songs (Rock, Pop, Rap etc.) in front a foreign audience. In addition, how many minutes do you think he will play? He is quite at the top of the bill so I guess he gets about 45 - 60 minutes of total playtime?
  11. Why do we have to start this matter over and over again. Once Geki wrote something similar to what he has written, people are getting triggered and have to respond but also artificially extend this. But with all due respect, why in almost every comment section even though sometimes it has nothing to do with it. Back to topic Watching As I Fall is my favorite, reminds me of FM
  12. They are probably glad that someone has the balls to change their sound literary every album. They are probably too scared to change completely and that's the thing everybody respects LP for. You can hate it or love it but at least respect that they have the balls to change.
  13. I agree, and it's not that Mike couldn't pull some normal LP songs even some heavier ones. So I hope they build from what Mike has started here. Especiall WAIF has a LP vibe with the guitar in the bridge.
  14. And they don't sound like LP songs, the only one that comes close is Watching As I Fall, but you can clearly see Mike's own style.
  15. When you watch the video for one of his song (I don't know which one it was again), he looks very tired and exhausted when he talked about what is happening right now in the world etc.
  16. He was't that bad. Consider that the video came out 8 years ago, for this it sounded Ok
  17. What the hell is wrong here...
  18. For those who are disappointed - You can't expect the band to chose a dozen of demos they wrote with their brother and friend over the last 20 years. A little respect please. It's only 4 month since Chester passed away and we fans may be quiet over it (Some not) but the band is/was in a whole other situation...
  19. It feels like a whole different concert, when suddenly hear Mike's voice in a lot of songs now. Really like it
  20. I just listened to it on Spotify and even though I'm not the biggest fan of the acoustic version of Crawling, the sounds makes me really excited for the other songs. Especially for Talking To Myself
  21. I'm really looking forward to this. Chester was in great shape this tour and sounded fucking great. It was definitely one of the better years performance wise for him.
  22. Like he did on the Rebellion bridge. He sounded a bit like a singing Serj from SOAD and I would accept that. We have to give him respect for trying to sing (or whatever you wanna call it) the Papercut or Rebellion bridge. And let's be, we should be greatful for anything they present at future shows (of course, only if they do continue) and not be mad if certain parts/songs don't sound the same as they did before.
  23. We probably have to give them more time. In the Karreng magazine where Mike talked about Chester and the band, he pointed out that some of the band members couldn't listen to their own songs with Chester on it (So almost every single one) for weeks. This show was harder than we think. I believe that they tried to hide their emotions as much as possible, even though we saw Phoenix, Brad and Mike being very emotional during certain songs. Especially during songs like In The End.
