  1. I'd love a heavy album too, but I don't think LP will ever make heavy rock songs again. They seem to have stopped with ATS. MTM had a bunch of awesome hard rock songs, but for some reason, ATS had nothing heavy. I don't consider Blackout to be heavy, the vocals are just a little screamy but the outro kills that song. I think the 5th album will just be a more toned down version of ATS, probably all REALLLLLLLYYYYYY sloooowwwww soft songs, since that's what LP is now.
  2. Um, we had FM before MTM was even half way completed, and Mike toured with FM but it didn't interfere with MTM at all. DBS was only about half a year of a couple shows and some tours, nothing major, and hardly interfered with ATS.
  3. Ok, so does anyone remember the LPU Photo Journal? It was a bunch of pics from the making of MTM, from 2005 up to 2007 I think. I have a few saved on my computer but I'd love to re-look at all the others...Does anyone know where I can?
  4. Let's see here... Hybrid Theory (Fall 2000) Meteora (Spring 2003) Minutes To Midnight (Late spring/early summer 2007) A Thousand Suns (Early fall 2010) I'd say we get the new album in 2013 sometime, probably early/late spring. I just hope the wait isn't as long as the wait was for MTM, I've always been a LP fan since like 2001 but I didn't become a 'hardcore' LP fan til late 2004. That sucked because that was when LP went on hiatus and the wait for MTM seemed like it took FOREVER. Even the wait for ATS seemed really long.
  5. Still don't see how there is not a US PR... They are playing tons of Europe shows in June and some of July I think, but then they resume the tour in September in Asia? What about July/August, that's usually when PR takes place. They could play Hartford, CT to make up for Uncasville, CT and also play DC and Cinci, as well as tons of other US stops that they skipped this year. That way it would be fair for all fans, because Europe already got a huge tour!
  6. At this point, I would donate obscene amounts of money to get a studio version of 20 Eyes by DBS.
  7. I thought I heard someone say they recorded Montreal as well.... don't remember where though. I went to Boston, it was an awesome show.
  8. I think they should also bring back SIB and give songs like Numb or BTH a break.
  9. Pretty good making of, I liked it more than the making of WFTE.
  10. It's been out for like a month now. It's awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3FEm8Zj32E Whole new verse from Mike.
  11. You shouldn't have used all those Catalyst remixes...way too many! I guess I'll vote for Wretches And Kings (HavocNdeed Remix). I like the GBC way more.
  12. Go under tour on LP.com and click on the date you are attending, and then click I am going or LPU meet and greet. One of those I think...
  13. I don't really like any of the new sets. It's not that it's too much ATS, I just don't like the way they flow. Blackout would be a crazy opener. I don't really like The Requiem opening every single show. It would be cool if they had The Requiem fade into whatever song is first instead of doing the savio speech and then the first song, makes no sense unless it is Wretches. Absolutely no idea why they did that. So basically I would love to see The Requiem go, I'd love to see Blackout open, I think the whole set should be re-arranged, and I want some old songs brought back, such as With You and P5hng, as well as APFMH.
  14. I'm thinking the lyrics and vocals were used from some random Meteora demo... The Hydroponikz remix is great but there's only one thing I hate about it. They don't use the verse vocals, they just use the chorus style vocals.

    Robot Boy Live

I agree. I think they should play this song a few times and then just drop it. I want them to play it for the sake of playing it, even if it's just once to try it out. I love Robot Boy but I do think it would be too hard on Chester vocally to do every night. A lot of people underestimate Robot Boy but it's basically nonstop singing once it hits the 1 minute mark and the screaming style vocal at the end of the song is really crazy if you listen to it.
  16. Someone needs to add some vocals to a remix! Mike keeps mentioning vocals, plus I'd love to hear someone add something to it - whether it be rapping, singing, or even screaming.

    Best BITS Live

    Boston or San Diego..
  18. I have Hardly Breathe. I love it. I've had this song for like 6 years!! I just have always wondered about it's background.
  19. I'm sure most people here have heard the song Rock And Roll Pt.2 by Handsome Boy Modeling School, which features both Mike and Chester on vocals. Now, my question is... does anyone know any background info about this track? Like did Mike and Chester write these lyrics specifically for this song, or are they from some kind of LP b-sides or something? Chester's part is exceptionally good and I wonder if it was a b-side from Meteora or something since this apparently came out in 2004. If anyone knows anything please post...

    Robot Boy Live

I'd rather have a simplified version...do you think they will premiere this song live this summer? It's the only song from all 4 of their studio albums that hasn't been played live at some point.
  22. NY radio stations around where I live have been playing WFTE like CRAZY for the past couple weeks... Sorry, but I have to disagree on that. I may feel a little biased to some because you all know how much I love MTM, but it sold really well IMO. What I've Done was a huge hit, actually, LP's BIGGEST hit to date. SOTD did amazing. LOATR even did decently... GU and BIO were fan favorites and a lot of people liked them. ATS won't get to 5 singles either, I don't think. MTM had the most poppy, catchy LP songs to date. They aren't forgettable because they all are almost the same structure (V, CH, V, CH, CH) which is basic radio structure. ATS had very minimal amount of that.
  23. Part of me thinks that LP will go more electronic on their next album...they already started to with ATS and they've toured with a lot of electronic driven bands for the majority of the ATS World Tour, such as drum and bass legends, Pendulum, as well as Does It Offend You, Yeah? and The Prodigy, as well as other bands like Dead Letter Circus. But it could very well be the exact opposite of electronic because maybe the reason they toured with those kind of bands was because it fit with ATS's sound somewhat...who knows. You can't really predict what LP will do next. I never thought ATS would sound the way it did. I somewhat expected MTM to sound the way it did, but not as much on songs like Hands Held High, In Between, In Pieces, TLTGYA, etc. LP will probably do something super creative and something that sounds nothing like HT, Meteora, MTM or ATS at all.
  24. I love both Not Alone and Issho Ni because they were songs that helped for a great cause. Nobody is debating that fact. People just wanted to debate on what song they like better...
