  1. Here’s my whole opinion on Mike and the NFT thing… I’m still a fan of his for what he did during the Post Traumatic cycle. I don’t quite understand the concept of NFTs in general but from what I gather / what I DO understand I’m not a fan of. It isn’t for me, whatever, I’m waiting for something that is. As long as he still releases music for free with the NFT art like he’s been doing (like Ziggurats, which was his best release in 2 years IMO) I’m really not gonna complain. I feel like everyone is taking this far more seriously than they need to, and I think the reason why is because we’re all waiting for something, ANYTHING about LP. Seriously, I don’t agree with it / don’t like it either, but pretty much everyone is doing it nowadays, I don’t see the need to act like Mike killed somebody over this, especially when he isn’t the only one doing it. I’m hurting for a new MS album / tour or LP news just as much as the rest of you, but I accept we probably need to wait awhile, again, whatever, I have plenty of things to keep me busy, both 20 years worth of back catalogue / live shows and other bands music. I’m confident it’ll all work out eventually, provided we all don’t blow each other up first.

  2. Not a fan of Happy Endings either, after HT20, the LP world seems dead. I’m excited for what we’re gonna be getting soon, Slash collab, and GD (even though I’m not a fan of the drama, but the music’s good and that’s what I try to focus on). But I REALLY REALLY hope LP makes an announcement soon about what they’re doing, I’m sure COVID put a wrench in their plans, so with things opening back up here in the US (as stupid as I think it is) I hope we’ll hear something from them soon.

You are brave enough to watch the show, but I really feel uncomfortable. Mike shows ? Ok. LP old shows ? Ok (except for maybe OML or SE if I’m not in the right mood). But the bowl ...ehhh. Love the 5 of them sing in the first part, it’s a glimpse of the possible future, but the show is super sad, it instantly throws me into the July 20th mood.

Same. You’re exactly the same as I am. Can’t rewatch the bowl show, I have it on my HDD. Haven’t watched it since I downloaded it back in 2017

I have converted the original XERO  audition tape in GREAT quality. I took the song down from Soundcloud  out of respect to the release.  Siri now recognizes a song on the demo I have had for 20 years ( Pictureboard )... the others are clear to post, I assume. I have the video they requested for the audition process (at least one band member has confirmed they went through  the same process per Mark T) The audio tape is in perfect condition and plays well, the handwriting  of "Xero" is most certainly Mike's. I have versions of the tunes when the rapping was the focus of the tune and the singing was the refrain or hook only..... I have my tracking vocals with the audition tape,  as well as my demo that got me a Next Day Air Fedex package from Jeff Blue, with lyrics, this demo and the other studio tracks partially finished along with Mike's 4-track ideas

I was going to do a full interview with Mark Terrell ( the admin / founder of this page) but he stopped responding to texts after a preliminary interview, during the week of the  the 20yr release ( not sure why? ) I never attempted to leak or detract from any of these tracks, I had NO idea that there was so much interest around this tune..... The original XERO tape was in a case, in my closet for years,  the song on Soundcloud was there to substantiate a one-off crazy story .....There is a good story here if you are interested as fans and the true history of something you may not be aware of...... TJ

Wow!!! Yeah, I (much like everyone else) would love to hear your story!

Carousel and Step Up originate from the Xero era? That’s a very interesting tidbit of information...
