  1. altered festivals setlist:

    01. The Requiem

    02. Wretches & Kings / Papercut (i like both opening)

    03. Wretches & Kings / Papercut (the other song that didnt open)

    04. Lying From You

    05. Given Up

    06. What I've Done

    07. Empty Spaces

    08. When They Come For Me

    09. No More Sorrow

    10. Points Of Authority / From The Inside

    11. Jornada Del Muerto

    12. Waiting For The End

    13. Burning In The Skies

    14. Numb

    16. The Radiance

    17. Breaking The Habit / Iridescent

    18. The Catalyst

    19. Crawling

    20. New Divide

    21. In The End

    22. Bleed It Out

    23. Faint

    ---------------------------------------

    24. Blackout

    25. A Place For My Head

    26. One Step Closer

  2. Im still not a fan of Faint opening. Or any song after the Salvo Intro. If the Salvo intro is played it should have Wretches and Kings after it. Just doesnt feel right without it.

Also IMO Faint is an towards the end of a set song. Where Papercut screams out to be played as one of the first few. Flipping them around just doesnt feel good to me.

The same for me. Now its better for Papercut to be an opener and Faint must be one of the ending songs.

i agree, papercut opening is badass. faint is a perfect closer before the encore break. if the band altered the festival setlist then this could actually really happen (of course it will NOT happen, but a little altering of that set would make EVERYBODY happy):

    01. The Requiem

    02. Wretches & Kings / Papercut (i like both opening)

    03. Wretches & Kings / Papercut (the other song that didnt open)

    04. Lying From You

    05. Given Up

    06. What I've Done

    07. Empty Spaces

    08. When They Come For Me

    09. No More Sorrow

    10. Points Of Authority / From The Inside

    11. Jornada Del Muerto

    12. Waiting For The End

    13. Wisdom, Justice, And Love

    14. Iridescent

    15. Numb

    16. The Radiance

    17. Breaking The Habit / Burning In The Skies

    18. The Catalyst

    19. Crawling

    20. New Divide

    21. In The End

    22. Bleed It Out

    23. Faint

    ---------------------------------------

    24. A Place For My Head

    25. One Step Closer

    this would make:

6 HT songs (if POA gets played, otherwise 5)

5 Meteora songs (if BTH and FTI get played)

    4 MTM songs

10 ATS songs (if BITS gets played, 5 of them are interludes or intro)

    New Divide

i think many hardcore fans would be satisfied if APFMH full gets if way back to the set, also:

is it really too much expected that the band plays 21 full songs again? :o

  3. Video of The Requiem and Faint.

Everyone watch that fucking video right now. Holy god. Look at the pit. Listen to the crowd yell "I won't be ignored". Look/listen to the band.

I don't know if the KROQ performance lit a huge fire under them or what but the past 2 shows have seemed incredible.

joe's scratching at the beginning is back :) hopefully he'll does it throughout the speech in the next shows

  4. The Requiem

    Faint

    Lying From You

    Given Up

    What I've Done

    No More Sorrow

    From the Inside

    Jornada del Muerto

    Waiting for the End

    Burning in the Skies

    Numb

    The Radiance

    Iridescent

    Fallout

    The Catalyst

    Shadow of the Day

    In the End

    Bleed It Out

(w/ A Place For My Head verse 1 + Bridge and Drum Solo)

    Empty Spaces

    When They Come for Me

    Papercut

    New Divide

    Crawling

    One Step Closer

lol you copied that off setlist fm right? I actually added the setlist there with the exact same notes...

I really have to bitch once again though.. I really hoped sotd would stay dropped and bits would not replace blackout in this set (actually the same set as nyc except bth being dropped)

  5. The setlist started like this.. Um I suppose! :D (yes I was there)

    1. The Requiem

    2. Faint

    3. Lying From You?

Anyways the setlist wasn't the same old The Requiem, Papercut etc. And I and my friend went to the m&g and it was aaaweesooome!

LPA just tweeted that reports said that BITS was played. Can you confirm this? Hopefully you had a great time :)

  6. Seriously, it DOES matter what setlist they play if you see them perform live, at least to me, when I saw them during some parts of their 2009 shows I got really bored. And if they play the same songs in Hamburg they did last year I'll seriously be pissed (I've paid like 70 euros for the show).

Enjoy the fact that they're touring for the sake of getting fucking money? Seriously?

merci janek.. totally agreeing with you!

i personally dont think that many people here realize what they are missing... just watch at green day or also metallica.... they have all have the same structure in their setlists but change up the middle of it and put in the rarest songs they can actually play. they don't give a fuck what the audience thinks, they know the hardcore fans enjoy it sooo much which is why they do that. and now dont tell me its not comparable, both bands have been in the biz for much longer time than LP and still want less money for their shows while playing 2h+ (metallica) or even 3-4 hours (green day)

  7. Hi guys.

I've got a M&G pass for the show at Stockholm Globe Arena, and since we're all talking so much about setlists, here's a fun idea...........

Why don't we make THE ULTIMATE SETLIST, one that would be the best of all time. Then I can present it for the guys in Stockholm at the meet & greet - hoping that they would play some/most/all of it on June 21st, after the LPU Summit.

I guess most of you are coming to the LPU Summit rigth? I will be there myself - so, loads of time on the road for me the next two weeks (also going for PR:Leipzig and PR:Oberursel).

Well, tell me what you think - maybe we can actually make this happen. :)

    Peace from Denmark.

    -Dennis

this will not change a thing. that unfortunately is a FACT. they stick to their plans anyway

  8. their performing in general got a bit better even if i don't like the way chester performs LFY.. but i totally agree with decano's complaining, it ain't possible that they actually drop their best songs off ATS to perform live.. just look at the messenger at 2010. such a nice song to let the crowd sing along - even i had goosebumps during the frankfurt show. w&k is a quite powerful song, especially towards the end.. and blackout.. what shall i say, chaz's screams kill it there. still hoping for at least APFMH full or maybe even 1 or 2 more surprises.. 22 songs + 6 interludes setlist would be more than fine for me but that ain't happen...
