Super exciting

Now this is a nice surprise!

Why would or could it be "just" a "digital download code" for a variant? Look I never said put out the Instrumentals and acapellas as physical releases just put them on streaming services like they always do. WB was able to released Friendly Fire as an Instrumental and Acapella a few weeks after the release on Youtube and streaming services. Heck even with the recent QWERTY release we got the Instrumental. Yes ofc, it's "WB and the Band decision when and if they're going to release them" But blatantly implying "Because most people doesn't want it and won't buy it" is just absurd. So as a Download code in a Vinyl Variant it would be in your mind "realistic" - But not on Streaming services which is more convenient, reaches more people and they have done so before. Sure, Jan

Aha and you know that how? They won't buy/stream the instrumental album but they will buy a vinyl re-color? Curious - if people don't want it, why do fan uploads on YouTube still get lots of views, often using the same files (the only rips) from back in the day? An easy solution would be to put it up on streaming services.

Oof another vinyl version, I mean it's cool and all, but what is holding WBM back in officially releasing HT and Meteora (and maybe Reanimation) Instrumental albums. You don't do it during the anniversary celebration and continue to ignore and releasing colored versions of the albums.
-
Yeah not releasing official Instrumental Versions of HT and MT during their 20th anniversary on streaming or in the Super Deluxe Box seems like a weird missed opportunity.
-
I think they would've done it post release, but do to Chester's passing they maybe canceled the release and never gone back to it.
-
I know it might be a bit "off-topic" but any guess as to why the band omitted to release the Instrumentals for Meteora for the anniversary too? They didn't do it for HT20 either and it's sorta weird, given that they released their Instrumentals since Living Things.

Yup 203,99 euro for that? The ATS Fan Edition that has all this plus a making of dvd. Ok minus the unique photo and pins, cost at the time "only" 99$ Now it's double the price? Overpriced in every way. Sure rich lp fans will get it without a wink but normal fans will have to stick with the CD maybe even the CD-T-shirt bundle. " plenty of "Making Of" videos" Yeah *looking at the hunting party* we got plenty of that....

Very interesting video. Always like those non-LP BTS. But it kinda begs the question, is it cause the "length" of post-editing from the live show (fixing errors or correcting mistakes made by the band), the reason (back then) that DSP shows took so long for them to release? 2-3 weeks or even longer (Sure there are many other factors that could delay it)? And do you guys think, on the DSP topic, that it failed was due to it being too restricted for only concert goers? I mean looking like other band like Metallica you can buy every show you want and don't have to enter a DSP code to download that specific show you went. I know that LP kinda loosen up a bit after a while but I think it was kinda too late. And since they didn't promote it enough on FB or Twitter (i.e "Berlin 2015 show is now for download") . Non Hardcore LP-Fans didn't know that you could buy a live recording on the show. (Unless you were there and saw the banner at the concert). Sorry for the rambling and probably nitpicking.

I can just copy/paste my response from the lpa thread 1:1 "Very spot on and kinda ironic, they name their current tour "The Hunting Party Tour" but only can/will, (due to your named various reasons) play only three songs from it. Why even bother, just name it "The-People-only-know-us-of-these-songs tour". I was already kinda annoyed when they shortened all the songs just to create the illusion of playing a longer set list, but now with taking out GATS, Rebellion and UIG I can only to that." To SasstielExperience post, on why the crowd get's less of an reaction on THP songs, is quiet obviously the less exposere due to the less "commercialisation" of the Album (probably). F.e no/not much radio plays, no Music Video (beside that crappy GATS xbox thing) no THP making of. Also, it's seems like each tour cycle they scale back even further on how they do a live show and make fans enticed to buy and see the show. Sure some might be unnecessary picky but, that's what I've seen: -Less talk with the audience between songs, feels like they run down the setlist like a workout program -Multiple Setlists with varied songs, which leads to -no interess in DSP's and then -cutting the whole dsp program -Creating new intros/variation to songs -Shortend songs, ever since the beginning of the THP Tour up until the US Summerfests -2-3 mins of LPTV that summirizes multipe shows Seeing and reading stuff from LPA and from here "Linkin Park as a "brand" makes me further wonder about the Band's musical future.

2014.11.19 - Berlin, Germany (Live DVD + Broadcast)
majorfort replied to RogueSoul's topic in Previous Show Discussion
I gotta a few questions: Are they going to rebroadcast it again (with an audio fix (maybe?)) or was it a "one time only" test broadcast? Stupid question: Let's say they do rebroadcast it. Will they fix it? If they (Warner Bros) can use another audio stream for the Live DVD/blu-ray couldn't they just give theoretically give Astra the audio stream so they can fix it for their rebroadcast? -
Well let's cross the fingers, and hope they the setlist, or at least do new Intros and outros like 08. If they still stick to the current setlist, then it's really a shame, that they just keep playing the same trivial setlist.

That reminded me of a Person in Hamburg last october. She won 2 tickets for the show and said "Yeah I like Linkin park." But when some fans were discussing, what songs they should/would play, she didn't even know what we are talking about. I think the non-fans only know, sotd, loatr, bth and wid and nd. And if they play something else, the non-fans would be totaly dislike it.
