Tonight, LP rolls into Porto Alegre, the last date of the current South American Tour before the band heads off to South Africa for the first time. The band’s S. American fans – by all accounts – have been brilliant this year, so keep it up Brazil! This final night of the tour was originally scheduled for the 11th, but logistical issues forced LP to cancel. In keeping with Mark’s stats on back-to-back nights, how about some stats on rescheduled shows The band has cancelled roughly 40 shows or appearances over their career, only twice cancelling an entire tour, the 1st in 2003, on the European Spring Festivals Tour (when Chester became seriously ill) and the 2nd, on the Music For Relief Asian Benefit Tour ‘08 (due to Chester injuring his back), interesting that both times were due to Chester’s health! Porto Alegre’s show is the latest out of three shows to be rescheduled to a date within two days of their original booking in the same state or region (if my knowledge of geography serves me correctly…) Who’s going tonight? Last minute trip to the middle of the woods LOL to a cabin 5 hours away, didn't have time to do this one - sorry. I only hce my iPhone and I can't do them from it. Thankfully we have a great backup preshow post writer I'll be back at it for South Africa! "The Show was scheduled to begin at 9:50 PM had a delay and began the 10:45 PM because Joe , Brad and Rob arrived late to the Meet&Greet and a little late for the show." The show was FUCKIN' AWESOME! The crowd sang all the songs VERY LOUD, the band couldn't stop smiling and Chester said "Brazilians are the best crowd in the world"! There is no words to describe the concert, I think the only one which gets close to this is PERFECTION!
