Two-time Grammy Award winners Linkin Park will perform at X Games Los Angeles 2012 as part of a new initiative being introduced to the X Games brand in 2013 -- X Games MUSIC. Linkin Park will perform a private show at Club Nokia at LA Live on June 29, performing songs from their upcoming album "Living Things," set for release June 26 and produced by Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda and legendary record producer Rick Rubin.

 

Select tickets for Linkin Park, plus a special guest, will be made available to the public via giveaways on the X Games Facebook and Twitter.

Too bad you have to win tickets. That's why I hate KROQ contest because they don't really yield winners who represent the fan base if I can say that w/o sounding snooty. Still going to spam said contests...

Maybe the LPU will give out tickets. Usually the LPU is good about doing that. I'd imagine they'd give tickets to this and the Mexico show. Maybe even Kimmel too.

Sounds cool. Seems like these are the kind of gigs LP would've done back during the 2000-2001 era. Nice to see them getting back to these sort of things.

Hopefully they do an LA CD release show too on the 26th. Don't see why they wouldn't.
