lpmitch Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 has nobody heard creed's new album? stapp sounds great in it.. not to mention mark tremonti blows away any other modern/alternative rock guitarist out there right now (by that i mean bands beginning in late 1990s on).. gotta admit though, stapp did used to be a complete douchebag as demonstrated in this pic:
sublimeric Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Kind of surprised that Chaz didn't do Zeppelin, and Weiland isn't doing The Doors (his "Break on Through" cover is amazing), but you can't really go wrong with vocals from either guy. The STP bashing is offensive. Most of you were in diapers when "Core" came out. STP (and that supposedly washed up druggie drunk) stole the show at Weenie Roast this year and have a good new album and killer special on Palladia right now. Where's the beef?! I won't defend Creed or Stapp, though. His best moment in life came when SA from 311 punched him out in '06

ernieball003 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 His best moment in life came when SA from 311 punched him out in '06 Zooma zooma zooma, Stapp got the boom! It's funny looking at live videos from around then because of SA with his cast. There were also some life lessons from that incident: Don't hit on married women. Don't be Scott Stapp.
Jesper Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) cool, cannot wait Edited June 30, 2010 by Jesper

libyanhead Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Chester covers Riders On The Storm will be sure epic....but COMON, back in black would be epic-er!
leftshoe18 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I'd rather hear Chester covering a song I don't hate, so I'm very happy with him covering the Doors.
