RiderSSPU Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 its a good song but there are a lot of songs on MTM that are better. i don't even listen to MTM that often but this thread makes me want to go listen to it Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 One thing I will say about No More Sorrow- I think it's one of those songs where the lyrics will get even more relevant as time goes on. I like the fact that they're quite politically inclined without being specific. Quote
Geki Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 The lyrics are so good in this song, they can relate to just about being fucked over in any way, shape or form, and that's why I love it so much. The music is amazing too, it's so heavy, I love Rob's drumming and the guitars are orgasmic. Chester sings and screams perfectly on this song too. I love the ebow effect, have since I first heard it. This song is GREAT live too and bring a lot of energy, remember when Chester used to headbang and go nuts on this song? I hope they never take this song out of the sets. Quote
avo17 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I liked this song when MTM initially came out, but that was just the new-LP hype. It's one of my least favorite of post-MTM material. Not a fan of the heaviness or the lyrics. Quote
RiderSSPU Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 (edited) the only songs worse than NMS on MTM are TLTGYA, SOTD, Valentine's Day, and maybe Bleed It Out so many beter songs on the cd Edited August 1, 2011 by Bliss Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 the only songs worse than NMS on MTM are TLTGYANO. Shadow of the DayYES. so many better songs on the CDI'd personally put No More Sorrow into my Top 5 for MTM. Quote
RiderSSPU Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 NO. YES. I'd personally put No More Sorrow into my Top 5 for MTM. for me personally i'd put LOATR, GU, IB, IP, and What I've Done all befor NMS. and BIO and NMS are about equal for me. so it's either 6th best or 7th best for me. But that doesn't mean its a bad song. It's a good songs, just lots of songs are better Quote
Xero21 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 The studio version of No More Sorrow makes me feel indifferent. The live version, on the other hand, kicks a lot of ass. Though of the three heavy songs on MTM, NMS is the most interesting. Quote

NickDuffy Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 It is probably my least favorite song on Minutes To Midnight. Quote
