On Sunday, June 21st, 2026, Linkin Park is back at a festival that is pretty well-known in the LP fanbase - Rock in Rio Lisboa!

Three of Linkin Park's last four shows in Portugal have come at Rock in Rio Lisboa and the most recent two, 2014 and 2012, kicked off the European Tour. All three of their shows at Rock in Rio Lisboa have been streamed, giving us some great content over time.

Luckily, this performance will also be streamed! Live streams have not been to common in the band's comeback era, but we are slowly racking up a few over time. We've had the 2024 Launch Show, sadly nothing for Europe 2025 but we got both Argentina 2025 and Mexico City's Corona Capital 2025, as well as now Rock am Ring 2026 and Rock in Rio Lisboa!

Interestingly, all three of the band's performances at the festival have come in either slightly over or about 8-10 minutes over 90 minutes... but this time they will be limited to just 90 minutes as most festivals on the From Zero World Tour have been - including Rock am Ring, unfortunately. But, at least we get a stream and another show, and the band is REALLY hot right now so we're sure to get an excellent performance. Tune in here, and be sure to catch the stacked main stage before LP with Cypress Hill, Grandson, and Kaiser Chiefs. Could we see a Grandson guest spot on "One Step Closer" again? Maybe!

Since this is the band's only show in Portgual on this world tour, let's give a quick overview of LP shows in Portugal.

The band's first show in Portugal came at Pavilhão Atlântico in Lisboa in 2003, rescheduled from June 2003 because Chester having to have surgery but thankfully able to be rescheduled to September. Fans there were treated to a similar show that we all know from Live in Texas! But what's interesting is LP's first actual tour across Europe (past the January 2001 promo shows) came in March 2001 on the Deftones' "Back to School" Tour and LP barely missed Portugal. Due to their very own Street Soldiers Tour, the first-ever LP headlining tour, going until the end of February, Linkin Park actually missed the first two shows of that tour which were in Lisboa and Oporto!

So with no Portugal shows for Hybrid Theory, the band finally made their way in for Meteora and treated fans to great shows in 2003 and again at Super Rock Super Bock just after Rock am Ring 2004's iconic show.

We take everything for granted these days with every show being filmed pretty much in full and uploaded online, or even streamed, but back in the day of what some of us called BOOTLEGS or tapes... Lisboa 2004 was always a badass one. So, take some time to listen today to the show directly after Rock am Ring 2004 when LP walked in Portugal and burned the venue down with an incredible set. We won't spoil it for you, but they are firing on all cylinders here.

Every Linkin Park show in Portugal has occured in Lisboa, except the Portimao 2009 show, which is a show that was actually confirmed well after that tour began - one of the latest confirmations and announcements by Linkin Park we have ever seen. Shows in Lisboa were held in 2003, 2004, and then the Alive 2007 show was actually broadcasted on the band's amazing tour of Europe for Minutes to Midnight. This was a show Brad said he watched Pearl Jam after Linkin Park and was fascinated with their set.

Rock in Rio Lisboa got their first LP show in 2008 as we mentioned above and it's our only proshot video of "Valentine's Day"! That show was quite notable because the band debuted three new setlists that tour and due to Lisboa being in the first few shows of the tour, we were surprised with this new set... giving us the first studio version of "Pushing Me Away" since 2002! What a moment!

That's a great setlist in 2008 with "Don't Stay", "In Pieces", "Leave Out All The Rest", etc... don't miss that one.

After Rock One 2009 in Portimao, the band played Rock in Rio Lisboa 2012 for the debut of yet another brand new setlist (crazy, huh?) and gave us "A Place For My Head" opening with a new intro and a live debut of "LIES GREED MISERY".

Crazy set!

And the latest show in Portugal was in 2014, already 12 years ago, where Linkin Park's second show of The Hunting Party Tour took place and the band played their famous setlist with all of the shortened songs in it.

Remember the CD of the studio version of "Wastelands" being thrown out in the crowd at that show? :)

So, now LP is back and ready for their 4th show at Rock in Rio Lisboa - still having never played Rock in Rio in Brazil but ALMOST making it for the comeback (having to eventually turn it down because the festival wanted to announce the band's return themselves, according to Mike)... we do think it's likely they will play it eventually. And this will be the 8th show in Portugal.

Following this, we'll see LP head BACK to Spain for 2 nights in Madrid which are guaranteed to be great. So strap in, join us for the webcast, and let's see what rotation songs they pull out mid-show in Portugal - we saw a very heavy Rock am Ring setlist in the middle of the show and we could possibly see the same again here. Maybe a little "IGYEIH" and "A Place For My Head" for Lisboa? Let's see!

To the show we go.

I've also just rip the audio and cut song to song.

Just the time to convert it and I can upload it

Could someone share the full show please, I don’t have a Dime account and registrations are closed...

I've posted a YouTube link on the post above yours.

If you meant a download link later today or tomorrow I'll upload both video and audio

A really good show by the band. The middle run of Two Faced, APFMH, IGYEIH, One Step Closer is a monster. If they had more time, could you imagine adding in like, With You and Cut the Bridge to that run? Or Lost in the Echo?

Noticed Joe's scratching and effects on the end of IGYEIH. Upon checking the other 2026 performances, it seems like he's been doing this for a while. Need to check when it started and we can add it to the song page on the wiki.

90 minutes just isn't long enough. When other bands like Foo, Metallica, and GNR can get 2 hours at festivals, the LP camp really needs to demand the 2 hour time slots. Even the Chester-era shows at festivals were longer than these.

But, great show and the crowd was just insane. It's a shame this tour is coming to an end quickly because it feels like right now they are in a better groove than ever with the new lineup. The shows are just badass.

Just a quick question.

I know that at festivals they've limited time, but why wasted 4-5 minutes with the collapse transition when they can play an additional song dropping it?

It's obviously an important part of the band's vision for how a show should go; it's, the lights and gear are all there anyway, people worked to develop those visuals etc. Its not a waste and it's not just dead noise, its intriguing and interesting to most of the crowd who has never seen it  go; it's

I know, I've nothing against those visual,  but talking about how limited the times are in a festival I think they should optimise it by playing songs
