RogueSoul Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM The time has come. You've seen the social media comments. You demanded, the band answered. Linkin Park has COME TO BRAZIL! The From Zero World Tour's next stop on its South American leg is its first of three in Brazil, the first show happening in Curitiba, Paraná on November 5, 2025! This will be the band's very first show in the city of Curitiba, so I don't have much of a history lesson for you today, but I do have a couple of fun facts. While this'll be the first show the band will perform there, there were plans in 2012 for a show in Curitiba when the Living Things South American Tour was originally announced, slated for October 2012. In September 2012, the tour was rerouted and the show in Curitiba replaced by a second night in Rio de Janeiro. The tables have turned in 2025, with a show in Rio being taken off the router from the original announcement and the Curitiba show moving ahead. Another fun fact is that this is the second furthest-south show in Brazil they've played; the title of that award goes to Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul that was on that 2012 South American Tour. This'll be the furthest south this leg goes on this string of Brazilian dates (with a show in Porto Alegre also getting taken off the routing), so let's see how crazy they get down there! Linkin Park's full show in Porto Alegre, Brazil at the Gigantinho on October 15, 2012 to close out the Living Things South American Tour. Opening with 'Tinfoil' and 'Faint,' this show got off to a huge start - does the south of Brazil really do it better? The band's last stop on the tour was in Santiago, Chile, another epic night for the South American tour! The band performed Set A ('Castle Of Glass' theme), bringing out 'Points Of Authority,' 'Up From The Bottom,' and 'Crawling' in Act I in the rotating slots. Act II followed suit with 'Over Each Other,' 'Lies Greed Misery,' and 'IGYEIH,' as well as the demo verse of 'Lift Off' from Post Traumatic during Mike's solo ('When They Come For Me'/'Remember The Name') and a Poppy feature on 'One Step Closer.' My beloved 'Stained' was performed in Act III, while 'From The Inside' made another appearance this leg in Act IV. The show closed out with 'In The End' and 'Faint' for an old-school finale in the encore - a huge ending for a huge night! Curitiba is lined up for Set B ('Iridescent' theme), last performed in Lima, Peru last week. Last show's performance of Set A actually matched with the previous performance in Bogotá, Colombia, so it's possible that tonight's set will feature the same rotations. In Lima, Act I featured 'Crawling,' 'Up From The Bottom,' and 'New Divide' (with the short Moscow Intro); Act II had 'Cut The Bridge,' 'From The Inside,' and 'Given Up' (which had an INSANE crowd reaction); Act III saw 'Over Each Other;' Act IV had 'Stained;' and the night closed out with 'Heavy Is The Crown' and 'Bleed It Out.' There's still plenty of room for surprises, with a few notable songs that have been in rotation this year still missing from the South American leg: 'Keys To The Kingdom,' 'Unshatter,' and 'Let You Fade.' There's ample opportunity for them to be subbed into the set in any of these rotation spots, so keep your eyes peeled for surprises! Linkin Park's full show at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile on November 2, 2025! These South American shows do not stop delivering, especially with the crowds - some of the best audiences on the planet! Poppy will be opening the show before Linkin Park, and her sets this leg have really been something! Opening with 'have you had enough,' her set dives into powerful tracks like 'BLOODMONEY' and her collaboration with Bad Omens, 'V.A.N.' Older classics like 'Concrete' and 'Anything Like Me' fill the body of the set while new tracks from 2024's Negative Spaces like 'the cost of giving up' and 'crystallized' are also performed. Her set ends with 'new way out,' taking things out with a bang before Linkin Park hits the stage! She'll likely pop back out to perform 'One Step Closer' with the band during their set, too! If you can make it early to see her, be sure not to miss her set! Who's going to the show? LPLive staff lpliveusername will be there, so be sure to say hi if you see them! The band has two more shows left on this South American run with stops in São Paulo and Brasília before wrapping it up for the year in Mexico for a headlining slot at Corona Capital. The From Zero World Tour will continue going strong in 2026, with a new show announced recently: a headlining performance at Download 2026 in the United Kingdom! With all the recent Linkinpedia updates we've been doing as far as the show pages show, we'd like your help in expanding them further! We are looking for pictures or scans of a number of items from the band's 2025 tour, including wristbands, tickets, setlists, exclusive pop-up store content, and more. If you have anything to contribute, check out our thread on the matter and submit your pictures directly to us - if they meet the mark we will get them uploaded to the show pages and credit you (and also blur your information out where applicable)! Be sure to check out the site to see our recent changes to the show pages (including marked rotation songs, album breakdowns, and more statistics) if you haven't already, and enjoy the upgrades to our LPLive and Linkinpedia servers with faster loading times on both sites! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook)! LPLStaff Posted yesterday at 01:57 PM Posted yesterday at 01:57 PM This is really interesting that Curitiba was replaced by Rio in 2012, but now in 2025 Rio is replaced by Curitiba. Quote
silverwing Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM Posted yesterday at 02:45 PM (edited) Mostly events in Brazil happen in Sao Paulo or Rio, it's rare to see mainstream artists going to other places. Many people will travel 1.000 miles or more inside Brazil to see LP in these concerts right now. I hope they sell out or at least close to it today, cause if they don't i don't know if they will come back again to southern cities like Curitiba or Porto Alegre (they went there in 2012). Last year they announced a Porto Alegre show for this 2025 leg and it was supposed to be in a BIG stadium. 50k+ capacity. And it was cancelled a few months ago. The 2012 Curitiba concert had already tickets sold and they changed venues due to low demand, most people that would watch the Curitiba one decided to go to Porto Alegre. And the Porto Alegre venue had already been reduced from a 25.000 capacity to 15.000 capacity, also due to low demand. Curitiba is one of the best Brazilian cities. Well developed, feels like a European city, very cultural and artistic, low crime rates (way lower than Rio/SP) Edited yesterday at 02:50 PM by silverwing Quote
LeonardoMF93 Posted yesterday at 04:58 PM Posted yesterday at 04:58 PM I’m really sad. I flew from Calgary to Curitiba on the 3rd, but an old lady felt unwell, and we had to land in Oklahoma. Because of that, I missed my connections and won’t get to the show on time. 😔 Now I can only go to the ones in São Paulo and Brasília. Quote

Well developed, feels like a European city, very cultural and artistic, low crime rates (way lower than Rio/SP) In recent years, many shows have stopped happening exclusively in Rio and São Paulo. In fact, Rio is no longer one of the main cities in Brazil for concerts. As for crime, that’s a false assumption. For example, according to statistics, Porto Alegre is actually more dangerous than Rio, with a considerably higher homicide rate. At the same time, Rio and Curitiba are basically tied in that regard. Anyway, I don’t think it really makes sense to keep discussing crime rates in a Linkin Park forum. I only brought up that information to correct something that was inaccurate. Quote

Hopefully you really get to enjoy the other 2 - you'll still have a great time at those. That's the silver lining. Quote

I just got back to Brazil and I’m ready for the next two shows! Again, thanks for your kind words. Quote

Mike called him out, "What are you doing here?! Make some noise for Mr. Hahn!" * Mike rapped verse 1 of "Petrified" over his solo medley and told the crowd before starting it, "Why don't we do something from Fort Minor?" * Mike said, "We tried this before, let's try this one more time" to get the crowd to start clapping, before the band started "Given Up". * Mike played the melody of Metallica's "One" over the extended intro of "Overflow" on synth. * The band jammed the end of "Numb" out for fun. * After "Heavy Is The Crown", Mike said, "Obrigado, we hope you had a good night, this is our last song." * Mike rapped verse 1 of "A Place For My Head" over the extended bridge of "Bleed It Out". Other Notes: * This show was announced on March 17, 2025 with the "Up From The Bottom" single and the restructuring of the South American Tour. Linkin Park canceled two dates in Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre and added a show in Curitiba. The band also canceled a show in Curitiba in 2012 for LIVING THINGS, so this is their first show in the city. Quote
JerseyShore Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago As always, thanks for the setlist updates. Only thing I really miss on the APFMH verse-version during BIO is putting the bridge in there as well like they used to do in 2011. Every crowd should get a chance to yell GO AWAY during an LP concert even if they don't get to hear the full song. Quote

That looked pretty sold out tonight from what I saw on videos and pictures. Perhaps 95-98%. Quote

The Berlin 2010 show was fantastic, hear it out if you have a chance Quote
LPLStaff Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Agreed on the APFMH bridge being in BIO. Seems like an easy thing to add. If we had M&Gs back someday we could ask Mike. Noticed that the crowds blow up for the APFMH verse... imagine the bridge. Yes this show, if it was not sold out, was very close. This is great to see for the band as they can keep coming back there on future tours. Quote
