LPLStaff Posted October 16 Posted October 16 The Flow TV network in Argentina has announced plans to air Linkin Park's October 31st show in Buenos Aires:  "🎸 LINKIN PARK EN VIVO POR FLOW 🎸 El regreso más esperado, Linkin Park en vivo desde el Parque de la Ciudad. Este 31 de octubre, miralo en exclusiva por el canal 605 de Flow."  This looks like a TV-only broadcast and not streaming online, but it is almost guaranteed a recording of the broadcast will surface online shortly afterward.   This will be the first full show of the From Zero World Tour to be broadcasted since Linkin Park's visit to Brazil in 2024. With the setlist being dramatically different in 2025, it is a great sign to see with another show being aired. Unfortunately, there has been no update from the band on the release of the Brazil 2024 show experience, but it was said to go to theaters in 2025.  Buenos Aires will be the third show of the tour, following stops in Colombia and Peru and before Linkin Park heads to Chile and Brazil. This is set to be Linkin Park's largest tour of South America ever in terms of shows, countries visited, AND venues with all seven shows taking place in stadiums.  We're looking forward to the tour as well as having a full 2025 show! LeonardoMF93 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 This is a rumor that’s been going around on Instagram in the past few weeks, and it finally got confirmed!  I wouldn’t be surprised if this year’s show in São Paulo also gets broadcast on Brazilian TV.  About the 2024 show videos, I think it’s pretty much certain they won’t be released. If the plan was to launch them in theaters in 2025, we’re already getting close to the end of the year with no news, and the shows are starting to feel outdated. It’s a shame, because those two shows were the best ones out of the six I’ve been to since last year. It was truly a collective catharsis. Quote
xxHybridXeroxx Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Yaaaaaaay 2025 proshot incoming!!! Let’s hope for a decent mix and a good capture! Quote
HybridARG Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) It's not just for TV. There will be a livestream on this page https://portal.app.flow.com.ar/login but it's only for Flow members.  Flow is a cable operator and their broadcast are really good (here's an example of that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jUd_1OR4z0), but you need to pay a monthly membership, and it's exclusive for residents of Argentina.  Recordings of this company's streams usually last for weeks on their website, so there will definitely be recordings, even on the day of the concert.  I'm going to this show, and I'm freaking excited! I wonder why the band chose this concert to stream live. Edited October 17 by HybridARG Quote

If i were you my username would be linkinpARG  Im also interested in why the band accepts or rejects certain streams i wonder how that works behind the scenes.   Quote

LPLStaff Posted October 17 Author Posted October 17 It's a great question because a good number of these European festivals already are streaming bands all day long, then when it comes for LP suddenly they "don't have permission." So it could be some sort of monetary deal where the band/label wants to be paid for it...? The last Argentina show in 2017 was also aired. Brazil gets aired often. It's a shame about Europe because there are always good streaming opportunities for LP there and they usually just don't work out for whatever reason. Â SURELY Rock am Ring is aired, the band knows that is a massive, massive show for them. That is almost like the LP "Mecca" show, if you know what I mean - like that one super iconic spot in the world a band has and because of the legend of the 2001, 2004, and 2007 shows there, it is just insane for LP at Rock am Ring. pablobitter Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Besides the fact that they'll broadcast it, the best thing that could have happened is that Flow will do it. It'll surely have very good sound quality. The 2017 show in Argentina was streamed by Vorterix and it had a lot of issues, especially with the sound. I recently re-uploaded it with some corrections, so if anyone is interested in seeing it, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bww-sLz3TPw Quote

Maybe they planned to release it at some point in 2025 but after seeing that their shows during 2025 were so good beyond their expectations, they've probably think that they have outgrown that show. They wouldn't be the first band that doesn't release a show because they realize that the recording has quickly aged badly (Depeche Mode and their 82 show at the Hammersmith comes to mind).  Best case scenario? If they release a DVD of a 2025 show/shows and songs like Breaking the Habit or LOATR are included as bonus tracks since they aren't part of the regular set anymore Quote
