martinez Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Linkin Park Rig Rundown with Mike Shinoda, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell & Alex Feder (Brad Delson). PG’s Chris Kies headed to downtown Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena to meet up with Mike Shinoda, plus techs Mark, Ben, and Tracy, to learn how the band pulled off their much-anticipated gigs this year. Mau Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 Amazing video, loving it at 40:11 you can see some song that are not currently on the setlist 👀 maybe they are old patches or something... Quote

Yucker Posted September 4, 2025 Posted September 4, 2025 It seems so, same rig between album cycles means keeping patches if they don't wipe out the memory of the rack. Quote

In the video Mikes Tech talks about how he’s still using his old patches he made for Mike’s guitar rig back in 2014-17 due to him liking the sound of them which is why all those old patches are there. GreyFox-AFCA Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 Awesome! Really learned a lot from this Quote
Hybrid1988 Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 This is one of the coolest LP vids I’ve seen. I’m not a musician but I absolutely love seeing how the sausage is made. I have such a greater appreciation for the live show after viewing these rundown videos. There’s so much going on that most people don’t notice with a bunch of pros like this at the helm. I hope we get more technical videos from the band and crew in the future. Quote
Luki98 Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 I play guitar and would also like to buy a keyboard someday, so this video is brilliant for me... Fractal is fantastic equipment. It's great that they still mostly use Mesa Dual, although now it's emulated in Fractal. Mike's clean Overflow keyboards in this video sound brilliant and creepy at the same time. Ben is a great guy. Cesar656 Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 Great video, they were able to show a lot and Mike was really into it. Shame they didnt show more of Mike's guitars tho, poor decision making there Quote
r0ked Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 Did you catch around the 9 minute mark, when mike says they are recording audio and video(!) on EVERY show of the current cycle. sounds like this is for them to review, but it still makes me hopeful for a return of DSPs at some point. Quote
JerseyShore Posted September 8, 2025 Posted September 8, 2025 I know .001% about making music or any of these words outside of guitar and keyboard but really interesting video and I'm sure for people who know this stuff better really enjoyed it. Quote
