LPLStaff Posted Friday at 07:37 PM Posted Friday at 07:37 PM Linkin Park is back in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home to one of their rowdiest and loudest U.S. crowds that they play for! And with it being a Philly show, we of course dedicate this show, this thread, and this weekend to the legendary @nkramar who we tragically lost earlier this year. Always thinking about you, Nick! It's already the 10th show of this massive tour and Linkin Park rolls into Philadelphia with several plays of all three of their setlists - A, B, and C - under their belt. With Philadelphia scheduled to get Set A, it may look obvious what they will play, but not so fast... the Detroit Set C featured a changed end of the main set and encore. Could we see the band starting to switch things up on the tour already? With "Lies Greed Misery" being added in, there are still plenty of opportunity for other songs to pop up, especially older ones - "Lost In The Echo", "My December" (shout out to the Nashville show, where hopefully it will be played since it was recorded there), and more. Linkin Park is no stranger to Philadelphia and Camden, playing 16 shows in the area since 2000. One of the most iconic shows in their career, Live 8, took place in the city in 2005. LPLive is so old we remember watching the live stream of Live 8... on dial-up Internet! And chatting about it on mIRC in chat rooms and on AOL Instant Messenger! We of course also know another great show around this time period - Camden 2004, which we were fortunate enough to have received and released quite a while ago. This show is one that the LPLive team sat down to watch together during the opening 4 show run on this tour. A big shout out to our friend Billy on guitar on "Faint" at this show, a song he absolutely crushed. This is one of the band's most beloved tours by diehard fans so it is no surprise that iconic shows like Mountain View 2004, Camden 2004, etc are so popular in the Linkin Park community. What a massive show! We all know Camden 2014 was webcasted and quite a few of you all were there, but one of the most iconic moments to happen for local fans was the Linkin Park Underground Summit in 2012 in Camden with Linkin Park, Incubus, and MUTEMATH. The day started out bright and early for fans who had traveled across the world to see the band and culminated in an amazing Meet & Greet and acoustic performance that had "In My Remains" in the acoustic set. What a treat! And of course, that night Linkin Park hit a grand slam on their setlist, opening with "A Place For My Head" and burning down the amphitheater over the next few hours; this was one of the best shows in the LIVING THINGS cycle. In other highlights in the Philadelphia area, the 2007 show in Camden randomly had a crazy setlist change mid-tour that left the encore with "Cure For The Itch" into "Breaking The Habit", a super unique start to an encore for the band. And in the Meteora 20 box set, the Philadelphia show at Veterans Stadium on Summer Sanitarium 2003 was included, giving us now two full, professionally shot, releases from the tour. Linkin Park has never had an album era miss playing Philadelphia and From Zero is no exception with LP returning indoors there for the first time since 2011 at the same spot... another great show for A Thousand Suns. There are highlights from the early days as well, with the Electric Factory show in 2001 being somewhat of a local legend for those lucky enough to have attended the high-energy show. And don't forget our very own @RogueSoul playing "Roads Untraveled" on guitar with Mike at the Post Traumatic Tour stop of his tour in Philly! Needless to say, a LOT of iconic moments have happened in the band's career in Philadelphia and we are really looking forward to this show. For local fans, there is also a pop-up event at John's Water Ice with a From Zero flavor, taking place on August 15 and 16. Don't miss out! A fun note about this show is that Linkin Park will be the first performance at the venue after it changed names... THIS WEEK! Less than 48 hours before the show, the venue name changed from the Wells Fargo Arena to the Xfinity Mobile Arena. Who will be at this show and where will you be sitting? We hope to link up with some friends as usual at this one, so if you see us be sure to say hey! After this show, Linkin Park has two days off before heading to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a second Pennsylvania show in a row and then heading down south to Nashville, Tennessee. These will be the last east coast/southeast stops of the tour as Linkin Park then heads to the midwest and further west over the next month. We're having a blast following this tour and we hope you are too! Quote
alou2367 Posted Friday at 08:48 PM Posted Friday at 08:48 PM I think this is Emily's 50th show not counting TV performances/Champions League. Quote

Seems like yesterday when the comeback show was streamed... Ps. I missed all of this, the pre shows, following the setlists live, pics of the show/backstage/on the road... Boy, so glad they came back. Quote
LPLStaff Posted yesterday at 01:30 AM Author Posted yesterday at 01:30 AM Did not know it was their 50th show - Alex, Colin, Emily all. Wow. Quote
Sqwee Posted yesterday at 02:42 PM Posted yesterday at 02:42 PM I can’t wait for this show!! I’ll be in the pit. I’m taking my daughter who just turned 13 yesterday!! She’s got something special planned and hopefully it “freshens up” the crowd 🦷 Quote
nickishere12345 Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Going tonight! After Newark I had to go again lol. Hoping for some different rotation songs from Newark. Quote
Annoy Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I was there. It was awesome. They played my least favourite setlist but it was still an amazing first concert experience. Hells to the yea. Quote
nickishere12345 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Amazing show. Loudest arena crowd I’ve ever heard. Only minor gripe is that it was the same setlist as Newark. Quote
PHLBuckeye Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Yeah the show was incredible and the crowd was so into it, standing and singing along the whole time. Awesome experience! That is a valid gripe though. It looks like Brooklyn, Newark and Philly all had the same setlist, which kinda stinks because if people wanted to do multiple shows for different songs, those shows closest together all ended up being Set A's with the same songs. I also went down to Baltimore in May which was also Set A, although they diid change up the setlist a bit since then, so 4 of them were still new to me. Good Things Go was never in the cards for us geographically. Quote
JoanneMavBW Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago I was at the Philly show! Also in Boston 2 weeks ago! Both shows were absolutely amazing!!! Love them all so much! Shouting to Emily last night was truly beautiful. She definitely appreciated it, just like we all truly appreciate her!!! 🩵🩵🩵 Quote
