We are officially back on the road, and after some site upgrades over the weekend, LPLive is more ready than ever for what's next on the From Zero World Tour! Linkin Park continues their festival run with a show for I-Days in Milan, Italy on June 24, 2025 for their first show in the city in eleven years!

This will be the band's second time performing at the festival, with their last appearance there actually being their last appearance in Italy, on the One More Light European Tour stop in Monza where the band played a powerful set, opening with a legendary combination of the 'Fallout' and 'Roads Untraveled' intro into 'Talking To Myself.' Featuring a number of One More Light tracks like 'Good Goodbye' with its live verse by Mike and 'Invisible,' the band brought the album to live onstage while also delivering upon the hits like 'Burn It Down' and 'Papercut.' Despite this being marketed as a festival show, the band played more or less their entire headlining set, only dropping one rotation set to accommodate the time. The band's last appearance in Milan itself was way back in 2014, at the start of The Hunting Party World Tour near the end of its first European leg. The band performed at the Alfa Romeo City Sound event with support from Fall Out Boy, delivering new tracks like 'Guilty All The Same' and 'Wastelands' to Italy for the first time. The 2014 setlists featured many shortened versions of songs to fit in more tracks to the setlist, and while this was a controversial choice amongst fans, this did lead to the band including a number of rarer tracks as a treat including 'A Light That Never Comes' and 'Runaway.' The band put together a fan-filmed live video for 'Until It's Gone' using footage from this show, including the fans in the album release just a week later!

Linkin Park's full performance at I-Days in Milan, Italy on June 17, 2017. This was my pre-show post watch while I wrote this all up, and I'm frankly pretty blown away by the band here. Incredible performances all around from everyone here, and the filming of this pro-shot is award-worthy. Definitely check this show out if you need something to tide you over until this next one!

Prior to this, it had been another eleven years since Linkin Park had performed in Milan. Their last show in the city before 2014 was in 2003, the legendary first show of the Meteora World Tour. Kicking off the LP Underground Tour, the band premiered a whole slew of new music from Meteora for the first time including 'Don't Stay,' 'Hit The Floor,' and 'Easier To Run.' A number of songs that are now live essentials also got their live debuts here, including 'Faint,' 'From The Inside,' and 'Lying From You.' 'Somewhere I Belong,' the album's lead single, hadn't even been released yet, coming out the next day in the United States and a month later internationally. Lots of world premieres for songs that became part of our lives not soon after (or perhaps long after, depending on when you joined the Linkin Park train)!

The band performed in Milan twice on the Hybrid Theory World Tour, the second being a particularly popular performance amongst fans. An invite-only MTV Live show took place in Milan in September 2001, and while the twelve-song set may have been the shortest on that leg of the tour, those twelve songs delivered a crazy punch. Opening massively with 'With You' and 'Runaway,' the band burst into a number of Hybrid Theory favorites like 'A Place For My Head' and 'Pushing Me Away.' The band even included the b-side 'High Voltage' in the setlist! The band's very first show in Milan was earlier in the year in March 2001, opening for the Deftones' Back To School Tour. While shorter than their show later that year and featuring many similar songs, the band made sure to win Deftones fans over with raucous moments like 'By Myself' and 'Forgotten.' Hopefully the band's fifth appearance in the city will be just as monumental as their previous ones, and that it won't take another eleven years for them to come back next!

The full MTV Live special from Linkin Park's performance at Rolling Stone in Milan, Italy on September 19, 2001. A nasty selection of songs here that really capture that old, unhinged Linkin Park live energy!

Linkin Park's last show was at Hellfest in Clisson, France, and was nothing short of epic. After a triumphant return following a cancelled show in Switzerland, Linkin Park resumed their tour with energy and fire - literally! With production that featured perhaps the most pyro that's ever been used at a Linkin Park show, the band truly raised hell at Hellfest, after a particularly hard performance in 2017 (which coincidentally was the show after their 2017 I-Days performance) due to a rough crowd. This time around, the reception was a lot more welcoming as the band burst into their E90 setlist, opening with the Inception Intro A (with the 'Castle Of Glass' theme) into 'Somewhere I Belong.' The band ripped the festival wide open with their first run of songs, bursting into 'Lying From You,' the first 'From The Inside' performance since Rock For People in Czechia (in place of 'Crawling'), and 'The Emptiness Machine.' In Act II, 'Two Faced' erupted while 'Waiting For The End' maintained its spot in the festival set before 'Up From The Bottom' exploded into action. 'A Place For My Head' made a surprise return for the first time this European Tour, replacing 'Let You Fade' in the encore, likely to appease the heavier crowd. Mike even whipped out a rare 'Reading My Eyes' verse during the bridge of 'Bleed It Out' - the first time since Grand Rapids, Michigan earlier this year and for the third time this whole tour. The band nailed it with their second Hellfest performance, and we're sure their third will be just as huge in the future!

As far as what we can expect to see at I-Days, it's hard to say! Linkin Park seem to treat their Italian festival shows as full on headlining shows, playing pretty much full sets at these versus an abbreviated, single-focussed set typical of festivals. In Rock In Roma in 2015, the band even played 'A Place For My Head' in honor of a fan who passed away before the show. The 2017 set at I-Days was also more or less a full set, minus a couple songs. It's been quite some time since we've last heard 'IGYEIH' or 'Stained' in the rotations, as well as other rotation songs like 'Keys To The Kingdom.' Milan would be a great opportunity to whip out some songs that haven't been played in awhile, since it's been almost ten years since the band was last in Italy. And maybe we'll finally see 'Unshatter' played live to complete the From Zero live discography! Time will tell, but we know the band has something good in store for Italy. The band already brought the goods in the form of food, launching the Linkin Pizza da Zero pop-up on June 23, offering food and exclusive merch to fans who could make it (band members even showed up themselves to greet fans!).

Linkin Park performing 'The Emptiness Machine' at Hellfest in Clisson, France on June 22, 2025. As you can tell from this video, the band received a much better reaction this go around at Hellfest and had a shitload of fire to make their presence even more known.

The band has a whopping three opening acts for this show: JPEGMAFIAJimmy Eat World, and Spiritbox. JPEGMAFIA is an indie hip-hop artist that has incorporated a lot of metal and rock into his productions. His latest album I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU is full of grittier tracks like this, incorporating distorted guitar riffs into his moody verses. He'll be opening for Linkin Park on upcoming European dates as well as the west coast dates on the upcoming United States leg, so get ready to be hearing a lot more about him in the coming weeks! Following him is the legendary Jimmy Eat World, an American rock band known for hits like 'Bleed American' and 'The Middle,' and honestly need no introduction as they've not only been part of the scene for longer than Linkin Park has, but the fanbases share quite the overlap and the bands have shared the stage on multiple occasions before! And finally before Linkin Park will be the long-awaited opener Spiritbox, a relative newcoming band on the scene but one that has cemented their place in metal. Led by the lovely and ferocious Courtney LaPlante, this Canadian metal band has become one of the most popular metal bands on the current scene with massive tracks like 'Rotoscope' and 'Circle With Me.' Their latest record Tsunami Sea dropped this March and features tracks as grandiose and heavy as ever, such as 'Soft Spine' and 'Fata Morgana.' It'll be epic to see two of the biggest female-fronted bands on the planet to share the stage - and we're hoping we see Emily and Courtney share the stage in some capacity in the coming shows, as Spiritbox will be joining the From Zero World Tour for the next couple of European dates! Don't miss this epic lineup of bands if you can make it!

Spiritbox performing 'Soft Spine' with Poppy and the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky on September 29, 2024. Spiritbox knows how to demand a huge crowd's attention, and we're sure they'll make quite the statement opening for Linkin Park on select European dates! What song do you think Courtney LaPlante should guest on during a Linkin Park set?

Who's going to the show? Our staff member PEPPEPARK and our favorite Twitter friend BroodingAnanas will be at the show, so be sure to say hi if you see them! Weatherman Rogue Soul here and happy to report that the beautiful weather will continue for the From Zero World Tour in Milan! However, it will hot! Temperatures will hit a whopping 35°C in the afternoon and only drop down to 26°C at night, so be sure to dress light and stay hydrated all day!

Linkin Park's From Zero European Tour is now reaching its halfway point, and we have some truly big shows ahead of us this week. After I-Days, the band heads to Arnhem, Netherlands for a huge show at the Gelredome before playing what could possibly be the biggest headlining show of their career (beating out Berlin a few days ago) at Wembley Stadium in London, England. From there, the band returns to Germany for a show in Düsseldorf before picking up two last festival appearances at Rock Werchter in Belgium and the Open'er Festival in Gdynia, Poland

We've been updating our Linkinpedia show pages over the last few weeks leading up to the tour with new features like more statistics, highlighting rotation songs, a banner at the top of the guide, and lots more, so be sure to head over there and explore what we've been up to! We've also recently launched an LPLive Newsletter for those looking for more of a TL;DR version of what's going on with the tour than my pre-show posts - we'll be sending it out every couple of weeks so as to not flood your inbox, but we'll be bringing you an overview of both tour and general news updates in these, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already! And if you haven't noticed, we've made some upgrades to our LPLive and Linkinpedia servers so both sites should be running a lot more smoothly now!

We'll have you covered on everything the band does at this show and everything they whip out for the rest of the year, so be sure to sign up on the forums and follow us on social media (Twitter/XInstagramFacebook)!

Always wished LP would be more open to collaborations for their live performances. Having Sam Carte from Architects with you on Tour or Courtney from Spiritbox screams for collabs. Yet I feel like it's a more delicate thing than 8-10 Years ago. Those live collabs probably produce a lot of unnecessary comparisons. "Hey Sam sounds way better on song X than Emily does". Not sure if that's a reason they are not doing it as much anymore.

They had 82,000 last time at I-Days in Monza. Let's see what happens today.

Think they'll do a full show.

Jimmy Eat World is opening, what a great band. Wish they were on the U.S. tour or more shows.

Man I would love to see Courtney with LP she was like my #1 dream pick for LP I love her screaming.

LP should take Poppy on tour she's weird enough to fit with the LP fan base, i admire her so much the way she learn how to scream and do it properly its awesome, when she screams she doesnt feel like a struggle, Emily needs a screaming coach she has the ability to do it she just need the proper technique.

There's going to be a big show and probably a huge crowd on this hot day in beautiful Italy!

I'd also like to see Courtney from LP, maybe on One Step Closer, since Grandson was so eagerly invited to perform on that track before. The new Spiritbox album is great. 🔥

78.500 people, moshpits everywhere, the Band was flowing with the crowd that was LOUD.

Probably one of the best shows of the tour, unbelievable stuff.

There was a strongly negative aspect tho, and not from the band, but you cant have people 7 hours at 35 degrees under thr sun and not spray water over them or create some kind of shade.

Jimmy Eat World was good but Spiritbox got the crowd going hard

Is this the first time New Divide is consistently dropped?

No, New Divide was also omitted on June 14th in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic at Rock For People and on June 22nd in Clisson, France at Hellfest.

Consistently, yes. Loving how the band is changing the sets up, though. This is pretty cool to see.

Agreed! It's so refreshing watching them trying out new songs/rotations every night
