sublimeric Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I wish they banned phones at shows. As great as it is to get to watch the entire tour on YouTube, moments like Emily going into the crowd are diluted by a sea of screens. I get it, but would rather see everyone jumping around and living in the moment instead. Incredible that the entire FZ album has been played now though! yours truly, 43 year old fossil missing the old days haha Quote

My fav thing about all my pics from around 2000 is that there are no phones anywhere in the crowd. Maynard of Tool/APC/Puscifer only allows phones on the very last song these days. I just saw APC / Primus / Puscifer on Friday and it was so nice not having any phones out anywhere. People were dancing with each other and going around talking to ppl etc... I know ppl still socialize like that and that stuff still happens but yes the phones def dilute the experience. I just make myself suck it up since i love the recordings so much haha Quote

LPLStaff Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Holy SHIT is all there is to say about Raleigh. The best band performance I've seen since they came back - 6th show I've seen. They absolutely burned the place down. The crowd on the floor was insane, just going nuts all show. Like 15-20 around us just formed a huge group in the middle of the floor roaring all the words to the songs and jamming. The pit was to the right of us and was going nuts. It was SO LOUD and mixed absolutely flawlessly... so impressed with the sound. LP came in with a mission and lit the place on fire and the crowd just reacted massively to it. A++ show, the song debut was GREAT and Stained sounded amazing. We are incredibly outnumbered in the crowd with every single person around us besides who I came with ( @ChuckCheese @xxHybridXeroxx ) had never seen the band. It's almost a 90% new fanbase out there, which is very good for the long-term success of the band. Met Erynn after the show on the front rail. Super nice guy. Ran into all sorts of people. That was a massive show and the floor was popping off. Couldn't say anything better about it - Emily was really in the zone all show and the vibes were just so high the entire time in the crowd and on stage. Even better than the Austin show. The setlist they are playing kicks ass - how about that From the Inside? Awesome! Emily came right to us in the pit and the place was going craaaazy. The From Zero songs kick fucking ass live. LP is in the zone right now... go see this if you can. Wow. Quote
LPLStaff Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago That phone thing is so like, it's something you see in videos and when you're there in-person sure there are phones you notice but you can see the stage absolutely no problem and there is so much going on you never pay attention to the phones. No issue there. Can see the stage easily and people are literally starved for this band - this is the first USA tour in 11 years in any shape or form for them. I don't blame them for recording. They are in amazing shape live right now. Quote

Wow. dude, exactly. exactly exactly exactly the pit was so fun to watch from where i was at, it was great to watch people join in & neither me or my friend who i went with had been to a concert before — she seriously loved watching the pit. and yeah, holy crap it's so great that this happened to be the show i could attend because that setlist was probably one of their best so far. i wanted to hear FTI so bad and i was jumping when it started playing — yeah gotta say stained sounds SO good live, i hadn't noticed the harmonizing nearly as much in the studio version and it sounded incredible in person. yeah, that set though. fucking rocked. i think i hit a few people around me by accident since i was moving around so much in the seating area, i can only imagine how alive the floor was, i didn't pay attention to it a whole lot 😂 my arms have been sore all day today. the whole show was crazy, emily joining the crowd was sick too, the energy made me so happy. i sat in the venue after the show for ten minutes because i was stunned. so incredibly great that they're doing all of this again Quote

Floor was legit insanity. It really is great they’re doing this again isn’t it? Energy was on a whole different level last night. Quote
