After a hugely successful show in Paris earlier this year, Linkin Park will be returning to France next year for both a headlining show AND Hellfest 2025 in Clisson, France alongside other headliners Muse and Scorpions!

The band previously performed at Hellfest in 2017 on the One More Light Tour. The crowd gave very mixed reactions (likely in part due to the poppier songs they were playing off the new album at a metal festival), but with their current aggression they’ll certainly be winning back the crowd here.

The band will headline the last day of the festival, on June 22, 2025. Old friends Cypress Hill will play directly before Linkin Park.

Hopefully the reception will be better this time than last time. That was a real shitshow back then. But I'm convinced that LP will put on a good show with their current energy and power.

Instagram comments shouldn't be taken at face value but apparently a lot of people are pissed that Muse are headlining lol

Surprised that the band agreed to return to a festival where the audience's reaction wasn't the best.

With their current setlist, I don't think they'll face issues. I'd just avoid playing My December or Friendly Fire.

Now, looking at the gaps between the European shows, it's unlikely that any new dates will be added, unless it's before the first show in Austria or the last one in France.

I would say there is still room between the first London show and the next one in Düsseldorf. There could be a double show 28./29. of june in London. Other than that, as you said, only after France or before Austria.

Maybe that date will actually end up being the most likely. Now, Lana Del Rey will perform at Wembley just five days after Linkin Park. I don’t know if adding another date and shortening that gap is technically feasible. Still, an extra show in London is definitely not impossible.

That's what I was wondering, will they keep an usual setlist for all 2025 or will they make some changes for some festivals ?
Personally I do want them to perform whatever they want, it's up to the band.

Also I live like 15mn (in car) from Clisson, but I think my chance to get tickets are slim in compare to the Stade de France show ^^'

I'll try my best because so far I never went to Hellfest.

Who had the audacity to book them back then? Wasn't a good move

Well the festival probably paid a ton of money knowing LP is huge in France. But they were already announced for Download Paris by then, before they announced Hellfest. And Hellfest was WAY beyond sold out when LP got announced too. So, who knows.

Muse played a bunch of other metal and rock festivals in the past, like Nova Rock, Download or festivals like these. Even they have poppier songs like Starlight or Madness, in their catalogue there are bangers like Won't stand down, Stockholm syndrome or Kill or be killed that fit in a metal festival.

The last gig they played this weekend, it was really about pop song. And Matt struggle to sing the old rock songs.

I know they can adapt their set but I'm asking me if they want and if Matt Can for a full set.
