Can someone please make a list of ALL tracks not released with Hybrid Theory 20? I would like to make some CD’s to keep in my collection with all of these compiled together to give it a more complete feel. You can even include things such as the Deftest snippet and unknown song snippet, Visionaries and LP song, everything from the eras of 1996-2002 (just not meteora demos from 2002). This would be very much appreciated highly. Even things such as the Much Too easy clip. I mean it all

I think that EX97 wants a list of every track that it's available from the HT era that weren't part of the HT20 release because he wants to add those tracks to his HT20 collection.

It's a great idea.

Yes thank you. I want to just add the stuff that was not included with the release. I am starting my own list I will post when it’s ready to see if it looks complete or not.

For Meteora I think the band now has a formula for doing the 20 releases that they didn’t when doing Hybrid Theory because it was a new idea at the time. I think they would have gave us more demos if so and maybe more live shows (one of those 2000 shows shown on Crawling DVD like the Arizona one around Halloween time that one is good). So I am making my own little set.

It's going to be a long ass list there are tons of demos for HT wow

You should also add features from that era since they included its going down songs like System should be included

For Xero, Dave Garrett also has 5 other unknown tracks too. He has 12 tracks in total. The other 6, besides the 6 unknown tracks, are Dialate, Deftest, Stick N Move, Rhinestone, Esaul, and Pictureboard. Also, there's the 1998 re-recorded Xero version of Stick N Move.

For Hybrid Theory, there's this demo (whatever it is): https://genius.com/Linkin-park-unreleased-1999-demo-lyrics. There's also this demo: https://genius.com/Linkin-park-and-two-outro-unreleased-lyrics

Could the tracks from Karma and the 12 Relative Degree tracks be added here?

Also you can add It's Goin' Down (Demo).

Edit: And there is also a third version of it.

Oh shit. Part Of Me and And One with Mark Wakefield??? Holy fuck, I need to hear them. I wonder if Jeff has Coal in these CD's.

I don't think those have Mark Wakefield on them. I was thinking they were Xero demo CDs from April 1999 with Chester on vocals before they changed their name to Hybrid Theory in May 1999.

I even set the dates for the CDs as dating from April 1999.

Seeing the versions from Linkinpedia, maybe is this the list (probably missing stuff as live versions and collabs):

Papercut (6-Track CD Version)
Paper Cut (Studio Finals Version)
Plaster (6-Track CD Version)
Plaster (David Kahne Mix 1 of 4)
Dust Brothers (With You Demo from 6-Track CD)
Points & Authority (8-Track CD Version)
Points of Authority (Studio Finals Version)
Crawling (8-Track Version)
Crawling (6-Track Version)
Crawling (Studio Finals Version)
Runaway (Studio Finals Version)
By Myself (2-Track CD Version)
By Myself (Studio Finals Version)
Untitled (6-Track CD Version)
The Untitled (Studio Finals Version)
Esaul (2-Track CD Version)
Esaúl (from Demos CD 1/7/2000)
A Place for My Head (Studio Finals Version)
The Cure (Studio Finals Version)
Carousel (from Demos CD 1/7/2000)
Part of Me (from Demos CD 1/7/2000)
Part of Me (8-Track CD Version)
Pictureboard (1998 Xero Version)
Fiends

Except for the omission of a few tracks, they did a great job in that boxset. We don't really need have 16 different versions of papercut with barely any difference between them, even here, where there are the most hardcore LP fans, would have end up bored. Quality over quantity.

And One was written when Chester joined the band so there is no demo of And One with Mark

  • 4 weeks later...

Remember - any Xero song is going to require Mark to sign off on stuff. The Xero stuff is pretty bad at times and Mike already is hesitant on releasing some of that stuff lol, much less Mark who they had to convince to let them put material on HT20. It's unlikely Mark (or even Mike) will want that much more Xero stuff out there. Just because the quality of it song-wise isn't great. Dialate is awesome but the 4 track cassette definitely has the best Xero songs they wrote.

Has Mike even feel uncomfortable with releasing certain stuff on the LPU CDs and has felt obliged to it? I always had the feeling that, if it had exclusively depended on him, we would have an early LPU structure, with just a couple of new tracks. And that would be the years anything meets his quality standards. If not, forget a CD... I might be wrong, just a gut feeling

There is an unreleased Xero CD in which are demos from studio. Those he could release. Two of them are Esaul and Rhinestone and those are good.

We're getting "The Wizard Song". Its "Resolution". Also, you need to add "A6" (Chester Version) and "Plaster 2/ Plaster II / Figure.09" (Singing Verses Version) to the Meteora list.
