Updated this list with the new discoveries.

By the way, I think LAURENCYM could be something by Lauryn Hill from her 1998 solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Maybe Mike misspelled her name.

SNEAKERBASS1 is certainly something by Sneaker Pimps.

The "FRESH" sample comes from the Beside song "Change the Beat (Female Version), the exact same sample that was sampled into Linkin Park's "Forgotten". The sample was also in "Mista Hahn's Tasty Gas Station Breaks From The Orient".

The sample is near the end of the song.

FYI, this is incorrect. Not sure why it's on Linkinpedia. "Forgotten" does not use any samples from "Change the Beat (Female Version)," and that WhoSampled entry is incorrect.

Both TGSB (which has the actual "woo-hah" sample) and the leaked multitracks of the song clearly show these are not at all related. You can also clearly hear a lack of vocoder on the "Forgotten" sample (the end of CTB is vocoded). If that sample is related to anything, it's "Woo-Hah! Got You All in Check" by Busta Rhymes or the song that inspired that song, "8th Wonder" by the Sugarhill Gang. Could be a nod to one or both of those tracks, as I've played with the vocal samples from those songs on battle break records and the a cappella versions, and it doesn't sound like a direct sample.

For demonstrative purposes, here are some five-minute takes I did with both samples, scratching to show the difference: https://vocaroo.com/1obwspP6Lyx5

I was listening to the Xero current folder yesterday and noticed a few things:

"SLIP_1" and "SLIP_2", they're not present (from what I heard) in the version with Chester; perhaps it's the 1998 version with Mark on vocals, which they said was a bit faster and had a similar arrangement.

"OUTSTEP!", Could this be the end of the Xero version of Step Up? The sample repeats "step up ste- step up.", If you look closely, it has a tape-stop effect on the end. It reminds me of "(And you do it like this)" from the Hybrid Theory EP version.

"CHAZAAAHMaybe the vocals from Turn to Grey?

There are also samples of the riff from Carousel, possibly the Xero version of Carousel from 1998 with Mark, or the first version recorded with Chester from April/May 1999

Interesting, Also In chair, I hear both MOBB1_SN and Mobb_kic

Im wondering what song the BREAK_1 sample was originally from (The sample heard in the tape version of Rhinestone)

Also In the LOOSESAMPLES Folder, LOOT1, LOOT2, and LOOT3 come from Lootpack's Da Antidote, (which was sampled in Wesside)
