StaticXero Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 (edited) According to a this Facebook post, Linkin Park has performed their first acoustic set live at the Machine Shop Offices. Besides 'Leave Out All The Rest', we're not too sure what else Mike, Brad, and Chester performed, but we'll keep you updated on anything we dig up. This isn't the first time the band has performed acoustic - here's a list of them: KROQ AAC 2001: My December, Pushing Me Away, Crawling, In The End London 2010: Leave Out All The Rest, The Messenger Homebush 2010: The Little Things Give You Away, The Messenger Hamburg 2011: Rolling In The Deep, The Messenger Camden 2012: In My Remains, The Messenger Darien Center 2014: Final Masquerade Woodlands 2014: Final Masquerade Setlist:xx. Leave Out All The Rest xx. Final Masquerade Edited February 18, 2015 by Soul Quote

xLinkinpark0562x Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 now we know where the production rehearsal took place ;P Well, we now know that the Third Encore studios in California isn;t the only place where they rehearse Quote
Geki Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Wow, this is AWESOME. I can't wait to hear this if they ever release it somehow. I wonder what songs they played altogether. Quote
RogueSoul Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 This came out of nowhere, lol. I wonder what else they played. Doesn't look like the Ballad Medley since Brad's primed to play the guitar right there. Quote
Dave-Stone55 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Hm, I really hope that Little Things Give You Away made it to the set but doubtful if LOATR is already there. I'd love to see an acoustic guitar rendition of BTH though! Quote
xLinkinpark0562x Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Did they delete the Facebook post? It Seems so.... maybe it;s on their Instagram? Quote
linkin_boss Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I don't get why they haven't played an acoustic show yet. after six studio records they have plenty of material to choose to do a decent acouostic show. an one off show with broadcast or webcast would be great. Quote
Tyleronlplive Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Instagram is where I saw it first Quote
Astat Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Why are people assuming this was a rehearsal of some kind...? It was probably a special performance for Machine Shop employees. Quote
RogueSoul Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I wonder if we'll ever get more out of this. Why would they tease us with 15 seconds of one song only to tell us they performed their first acoustic set? Quote
Geki Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 LP played ITE, Crawling, My December and PMA acoustic in 2001. Quote

Danacky Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Sweet I hope this recording comes to light of day at some point on a side note could anyone point me in the right direction to get the best possible recordings of the KROQ ACC acoustic songs and all the songs from the summits that are listed please? Edited January 18, 2015 by danacky Quote
hahninator Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Well we got one of the songs, Final Masquerade. Maybe we'll find out soon what all they played and if they'll release it. Quote
