rav0k Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 I take it not many people have heard of Infected Mushroom. lol. I thought they were more popular than that. Quote
Geki Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I have never heard of Infected Mushroom until today. They do seem pretty popular, with 1,000,000 likes on Facebook. It's not really my type of music, but it's a cool cover. Quote
FearOfTheDuck Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Interesting interpretation. The vocal modulation's pretty cool, and the outro too. Had heard of, and probably heard, them before, though I know very little about them. Quote
LPMaskMan Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Habbit LOL These vocals are really hurts my ears. Quote
RogueSoul Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 "BREAKING A HABBIT" You'd think if you cover a song you'd know the title at least. Quote
Nightmare Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 "BREAKING A HABBIT" You'd think if you cover a song you'd know the title at least. You'd think people would get used to the modifying of song titles for remixes after Reanimation. They know the title it's in the tags. Quote
RogueSoul Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 You'd think people would get used to the modifying of song titles for remixes after Reanimation. They know the title it's in the tags.Reanimation was 11 years ago. And this is just misspelled, Reanimation titles use symbols and numbers. ARGUMENT INVALID. Quote
Nightmare Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Reanimation was 11 years ago. And this is just misspelled, Reanimation titles use symbols and numbers. ARGUMENT INVALID. So they aren't allowed to reinterpret a title (WHICH THEY HAVE IN THE TAGS) without it looking like it should be on Reanimation? If they can spell Infected Mushrooms then I'm sure they can spell Habit. It's a reinterpretation they're allowed to mess with the title (AND IT'S IN THE TAGS BUT YOU SEEM TO WANT TO IGNORE THAT). Geki Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 The whole ''breaking A habit'' thing does annoy me, but I know better than to complain about it in this thread. I just won't listen to the cover. I've never liked a cover of a LP song anyways, but this sounds decent except for that part. Quote
Astat Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 You'd think people would get used to the modifying of song titles for remixes after Reanimation. They know the title it's in the tags. You obviously don't realize the historical trend of n00b LP fans (un-ironically) spelling "Habit" as "Habbit" dating back 10 and a half years. It was one of the ways you could instantly and accurately judge someone's intelligence level on the old LP.com message boards. It was like a meme before anybody actually used the word "meme." Whether intentional on Infected Mushroom's part or not, it's VERY reasonable for a Linkin Park fan to instantly facepalm at "Habbit." Quote
[AndOne] Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Yeah he's right, I've seen it often enough too, even in DVD menus etc. it's a quite common mistake. Just like Crawlin' Quote
Skipees Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 This cover shares nothing with Infected Mushroom's music/style. Nice cover, but nothing more. Quote
