    - According to reports of the show, "Chester stopped 'With You' because two people fell down in the pit. He said roughly (translated from Italian): "The next day, all the news should talk of that show as a nice event where guys go to have fun and NOT a way to damage ourself". 'With You' was replayed again from the start.

    - At one point during the show, Chester threw a bottle of beer to the crowd but the bottle smashed into the ceiling and fell on the stage.

    Debut(s):

    - This was the first show in support of Meteora, which means it was the first time that 'Session,' 'Don't Stay,' 'Somewhere I Belong,' 'Lying From You,' 'Faint,' 'From The Inside,' 'Hit The Floor' and 'Easier To Run' were performed live. This show still stands as the largest debut of songs in Linkin Park history.

    Other Notes:

    - 'Lying From You' from this show was released on the digital Meteora: Bonus Edition.

    Other Notes:

    - This show was the official rescheduled date for the canceled show on September 11, 2001.
    - For many years, it was thought that 'From The Inside' from this show was released on the 'Numb' single and the digital version of Meteora on iTunes. In January 2024, we concluded the song was not from Hamburg and is from a different, unknown show.

    - Snippets of the show were shown on MTV Masters 2003.

    - Before 'A Place For My Head', Chester said the fans brought him out of the "shithole" he was in earlier in the day. In December 2014, a review of the show was found from BBC with some interesting information about Chester: "Linkin Park performed at Rock City in Nottingham last night (Monday), despite the lead singer hurting his hand just minutes before going on stage. There were about 1000 fans there and the band played tracks from their new album 'Meteora' due out later this month. Chester Bennington, the lead singer, took his shirt off to show off his skinny tattooed body - much to the approval of the girls in the crowd. Ten minutes before the gig he punched the dressing room wall and badly bruised his hand. He had to keep an ice pack on it but told us he wasn't fazed by his injury:

"My hand doesn't matter, you can cut it off for all I care. As long as my voice works."

"If I lost all feeling from my neck down, if you could string me up and I could sing, I'd be there doing the shows."

"The fans come first and the shows come first too and that's all that matters to us. We really don't care about anything else except for the music and the kids.""

    Other Notes:

    - This was a private show by BBC Radio 1. During "UK Week" (a promo for LPU members and LP fans) by the band, the LPU offered tickets to Nottingham, London, Top Of The Pops, Manchester, and CD:UK/Headliners. The Nottingham show was "event #2" on the list with no description (no date, time or location), but LPU'ers were allowed to enter for tickets and if they won, they were notified of the date, location, etc of the show. A small Meet & Greet was held before the show, but the LPU'ers were encouraged to enter to win M&G's for other shows in the UK that week, presumably to not fill up the Nottingham M&G with a lot of fans. To gain admission to the show, either you won tickets from the LP Underground or via BBC Radio 1.

    - The announcement of the show by BBC said, "To celebrate the launch of their incredible new album 'Meteora', Linkin Park will be playing a gig exclusively for Radio 1 at Nottingham's Rock City Monday 3rd March. Lamacq Live on March 3rd will bring you a Linkin Park Special with a headline set, backstage interviews & reveiw live from Nottingham. All this week Jo Whiley, Lamacq Live, the Rock Show and Colin Murray will be giving away tickets on air on BBC RADIO 1. Your last chance to get hold of a pair of tickets to the gig will be on Saturday March 1st during Scott Mills show when Colin Murray will be roaming the streets of Nottingham looking for deserving fans to give the few remaining tickets away."

    - The first public recordings of the new Meteora songs came from this show ('Don't Stay,' 'Somewhere I Belong,' 'Lying From You,' 'Faint,' and 'From The Inside') via the online webcast and the radio broadcast. 'Hit The Floor' and 'Easier To Run' were cut.

    - Chester went into the crowd on the end of 'Faint'.

    - Before 'A Place For My Head', Chester picked up a shoe on the stage and asked "Anybody lose a shoe?"

    Other Notes:

    - Due to a lower than expected demand from the LP Underground, the band sold tickets to the public for this show. Worcester, Detroit, St. Louis, Dallas, and Los Angeles night two all had limited tickets for the public available.

    - This show was filmed for the MTV $2 Bill Series. An MTV anchor did an intro to the show in the crowd. It is sometimes mislabeled as March 25, 2003, which was the date it was first shown on television. Mike helped mix the audio for the broadcast.

    - A live video of 'Faint' from this show was used to promote the single before the official music video was ready.

    - Brad's guitar cut out during the first part of 'With You'.

    - This was the first ever performance of 'P5hng Me A*wy'. Mike introduced it as "something special".

    - Christian, the lead singer of Blindside, sang the ending of the song and came out again on 'One Step Closer'.

    - 'Nobody's Listening' was extended and Xzibit rapped a verse from 'My Name' over it.

    - This is the only known show of the tour with this setlist. It is assumed (but not known for sure) that the band changed it right after this show.

    - This was the first performance of 'P5hng Me A*wy' and 'Nobody's Listening'.

    Other Notes:

    - A group named Guerilla Union All-Stars treated the audience to different performances on breaks between the sets. They consisted of freestyle emcee Supernatural, DJ Rocky Rock and breakdancer Ivan The Urban Action Figure.

There was also a guy break dancing during the song. Also at about the Tucson, Az show Joe and Brad began trading places - Joe would take over Brad's guitar while Brad went to the turntables. They also played A.06." Astat followed up with the person responsible for this info (later, in 2005) and confirmed it.

    - 'Nobody's Listening' was extended and Xzibit rapped a verse from 'My Name' over it. Joe and Brad swapped instruments on the song. In an LPU chat, Chester said this was the first time it had happened.

"Maiplaceo> Joe and Brad switching instruments is HILARIOUS, in Tucson, you

were right above Joe's area, did you guys know ahead of time that they were

    going to do that?

No that was not planned- I just gave Joe the guitar and Joe

played it. It was crazy fun (LOL hehe TTFN)"

    Tour Diary:

    04/25/03: Update

    Location: Billings, MT

Hey what’s up, this is Rob. I’m here in Billings, Montana at the Metra Park Arena. We’re coming close to the end of Projekt Revolution 2003. It has been a great tour so far. Hanging out with all the guys from Blindside, Mudvayne, Xzibit and Guerilla Union has been great. All of the bands and the crew has been super cool. It has been another successful Projekt Revolution tour in that we have continued to blend all styles of music together and expose our audience to acts they haven’t heard of before. During our set, Xzibit has been coming out for “’Nobody’s Listening” which has definitely been a highlight of the show. We’ve hit a lot of smaller markets on this tour that we didn’t get to hit on the first Projekt Revolution and it has been cool meeting those fans for the first time.

Catering has been a real hit and miss so sometimes we’re a bit hungry (and I hear today is one of the miss days). On a positive note, we have played for some of the best audiences on this tour. We’re all really happy with our set design and lights and think that the look of the show is really incredible. Our crew has done an amazing job putting it all together. We’re sorry we couldn’t make it into more markets and continue the tour for a few more months. It feels like we’re just getting started but will definitely continue our headlining dates at a later time.

We’re really looking forward to Summer Sanitarium with Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Deftones, and Mudvayne. Playing right after the Deftones is definitely going to force us to put on the best Linkin Park show possible.

We’re going to be shooting a video for our second single faint when we get home in a couple of days. Video shoots are always super long days but the result makes up for the work that goes into it. We’re looking forward to seeing a lot of you out there. Having you guys out there will make this a special shoot.

    - On June 2, 2003, an announcement on the band's website stated, "Chester Bennington, vocalist for the rock band Linkin Park was admitted to a Los Angeles area hospital last Friday afternoon after an attack of severe back and abdominal pains. Bennington remains hospitalized as doctors are still trying to determine the cause of these ailments. All touring and video shoot plans in Europe have been put on hold this month as we make sure Chester fully recovers. We wish him the best, and will keep everyone posted as to his condition."

    - Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, 3 Doors Down and Steve-0 (who was still in jail) all canceled their appearances at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2003. Placebo was the official replacement announced on the 4th before the festival. Pinkpop switched its schedule around (after being asked by Marek Lieberberg Konzertagentur) to make Placebo be able to play Rock am Ring and Rock im Park so that their gear is there in time.

    Tour Diary:

First of all I'd like to thank everyone from fans & bands to my friends, and the hospital staff who have been very supportive and understanding of my situation. I finally got out of the hospital over the weekend after 9 days, and the doctor instructed me to rest for the next 2 - 3 weeks. Right now it seems like it was some bacteria or virus that spread throughout my intestines and body, putting me in intense pain. It also would not let me eat for a week. My doctors and nurses were amazing, and very helpful during my stay.

We are working on when we will be making up the missed European headline dates, and I am really bummed we had to miss the festivals. I plan on playing our warm up show in Las Vegas on June 27th, and ripping everyone's face off this summer on SUMMER SANITARIUM. I also wanted to say I truly appreciate the tens of thousands of get-well emails I got from fans. Our fans really are the best in the world.

    - This show was made up on September 6, 2003 at the same venue.
