    just an FYI

i chatted with Amazon ( U.S) and asked about the super deluxe box set and they said it comes with everything pictured and the download of all audio. I did ask how the download is delivered but they did not have the answer to it. Not to mention on Amazon you get free shipping ( i have Prime) and on the linkin park web site its $9.99 to ship.

hope this helps with some people who were wondering like myself

I'm guessing there's a download code card in the package like most vinyl releases, at least I hope so cause I pre-ordered through amazon as well for the free shipping

  2. I feel like the LA and NYC venues might be too small. 3400 NYC and 3700 LA.

Got my tickets for LA, surprised the limit was 8 per person. I don't think he's going to add another LA show if this sells out fast, he's playing San Diego the next night for Dia de los Deftones and Anaheim on Monday, they're both driveable from LA. He might a Sunday Night show but I doubt it.

Yeah dude, that's pretty epic of Mike. Mike has always loved the fans, just like Chester, and Mike has always done everything to give the fans more. It's awesome he played over double it. NYC is going to be so awesome. It'll definitely be a night that I'll remember for the rest of my life, I can tell, and even though I can't speak for you or anyone else, I think the same goes for you. It will be awesome.

I went to IdentityLA and this Amoeba Music show, Mike really surprised me with this 14 song set, I thought we'd get something like the Weenie Roast set with a couple more new songs. So many great moments, everyone needs to see Mike live, I can't stress this enough. Papercut on Over Again is so fucking satisfying.

BTW at the meet and greet after the show, I thanked Mike for playing Kenji at IdentityLA, he told me he was thinking of playing it more on this upcoming tour, I told him definitely do it.

  4. It's a legendary record store, bands and artists play small shows there all the time.

I signed up for this and the listening party, hopefully I get one of them, last LPU thing I won was for The Hunting Party release show at iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank.

  5. My preference, if they continue, would be to just continue as a 5-piece and have Chester's vocals on playback with an empty mic stand under a spotlight at his spot at the front of the stage. Maybe collaborate with other artists in the future but never actually try to replace him. I don't think you can replace him anyway, you'd need two people to cover everything he could do vocally, and you're never going to replace his stage presence and personality.

But ultimately, my preference means nothing and I'll support whatever decision they make. It's too soon to be thinking long-term anyway.

I also agree with this if they do decide to continue as Linkin Park. Chester cannot be replaced, his voice is so damn unique. I won't be upset if they just break up all together either.

I think eventually Mike will make new music through Fort Minor or something completely different with or without the guys. He just might quit all together and go back into his art career too, who knows.

  6. Posted this video clip I recorded of "Heavy" from the Vegas OML release show on my instagram last night after I got home from a long day just broke down.

I still can't believe it, I truly feel like I've lost a real good friend. This is just so fucked. I wish I knew this would be the very last time I got to see you perform. Celebrity deaths don't really get to me but fuck. There were so many days and nights I'm just alone in my room fucking hating everything about me and for whatever reason I told myself "you got this dude, things will be better" and I'd put my headphones on, listen to this band for fucking hours and feel like I'm not the only one on this planet feeling like this. I told myself to just keep living because there's always going to be a new album coming out. And now fuck it's just gone, 7 albums and that's it, each one a soundtrack to a period of my life. I can't even measure how much this band has meant to me. I mean fuck I became a graphic designer because I loved the Hybrid Theory album cover that much. I met my first girlfriend in the fucking Linkin Park Underground chat room. RIP Chester Bennington, I never got to meet you but fuck did you truly change my life. I really hope you finally found peace. #linkinpark #heavy#chesterbennington

    Stay strong fam.

  7. What a clusterfuck, I ran into the quantity problem, I needed 4 tickets, was only able to buy 2. I wasted like 10 minutes hoping the quantity thing would be resolved, until I said fuck it and got the 2 tickets because my seats were getting worse and worse. My brother who isn't LPU, somehow managed to get the 2 seats next to me because I told him the group times didn't matter. I seriously doubt they're even going to address the issue.

  8. LPU has always been worth it if you live anywhere near LA. I got to go to the iheartradio THP release show and the Guitar Center 50th anniversary Wiltern show this year alone, and both were FREE.

The best thing the LPU has done recently though is the pre album release listening parties. I got to go the A Thousand Suns listening party at Warner Bros. Records and got to hear the record 2 weeks before it came out. That shit was amazing.

  9. Was Castle of Glass played with the speeches? That would be a first for Brad, but nothing else special.

yes, hopefully they don't cut it from the broadcast.

Updated the main post with setlist. Don't know if anything of interest happened.

Chester and Mike had some banter about how they bought their first Mic and other gear at guitar center, I'm sure they'll air this part it's towards the end of the set.

On a personal note. I got baptized by Mike finally lol.

  10. $100 is pretty fucking insane for the music industry. I mean damn, I'd never pay that for LP.

Muse is $50~, Foo Fighters play almost 3 fucking hours (double the LP show length) for $75, Dave Matthews Band is $85.

Funny enough I saw LP 3 times in 2012, the LPU show at House of Blues was $100, Club Nokia was free,Honda Civic Tour at Home Depot Center was $124

When they played Staples Center in 2011, it was around $80

I bought Muse tickets for Staples Center in January 2013 they were $80 each as well
