  1. It sounds like it's been edited a lot but it's still nice to see it. The video sometimes looks kinda weird like it's already been said (aspect ratio).

Those kind of editing inconsistencies apply to probably 75% of live DVDs/videos that aren't sourced from raw video feeds. Live in Texas literally does that at least half a dozen times in each song.

Yeah that's right, but I think LIT was also cut together from two different concerts if I'm not mistaken. And it still looks more professional than this ^^ (although the singing on LIT is even heavier edited)
  2. I just saw that they seel OOA for 6€ now in Germany, it was nearly 20€ in the same store when the CD came out. at least they still show it in their advertisment. But the promotion overall was bad, we're still waiting for the proshot of the Hamburg gig last year and there's no official site in Germany = couldn't be worse promoted.

I still love the album and I'm looking forward to (probably) see them in Hamburg. It's great seeing them live because imo chester puts much more power in the DBS gigs then he did with LP lastly.

Anyway, I hope they'll release another album in about 2 years (same goes for FM) after the next LP album, which has priority at the moment (althoug I'm pretty pessimistic about the album >.< ).

  3. DSP's will only be delayed by a few days.

working on the MFR stuff is more important now, there's no need to rush with the ipod game and dsp imo ;) some people seem a little greedy sometimes... it's good to give Download to Donate some time to be spread instead of pushing it aside with other releases.

I like the Lupe Fiasco track, the whole album is good and dignified

  4. thanks for the updates, I'm sure the track will be great. I'm wondering wether some more people will give tracks for the whole thing. I already donated and might donate again when I got my money ^^ I hope MFR is using the money really clever and can reach sustainable aid for the people

  5. I've got some additional 'other notes' for this show:

24.03.2003 Los Angeles, CA, Wiltern Theatre, LP Underground Tour

-Some hours before the show there was a live broadcast with all band members aired from the basement of the Wiltern, entitled 'Linkin Park's Meteora World Premiere Broadcast'. It was hosted by the 'Linkin Park Radio Network', presented by Striker and aired on over 100 radiostations in the US, in Canada, Australia (via the Triple M Network), Mexico City (on radioactivo 98.5) and Auckland - New Zealand (on Channel Z). There was also an audience in the room, probably concert attendees. 'Don't Stay', 'Somewhere I Belong', 'Lying From You', 'Numb', 'From The Inside' and 'Breaking The Habit' were shown and in between those songs the band talked about miscellaneous stuff (the Underground tour, the upcoming Summer Sanitarium tour, the writing process of Meteora and some songs which are on it, their current situation and a lot of funny things) and answered some Email questions from linkinpark.com members and people in the audience. The broadcast is closed by airing live versions of 'Somewhere I Belong', 'Faint', 'From The Inside', 'In The End' and 'One Step Closer', recorded from 03.03.2003 Nottingham, England, Rock City, LP Underground Tour, while Linkin Park is doing their soundcheck and preparing for tonights show.

The total runtime of the broadcast (with advertisments) was about 1:30 hours.

I'm kinda confused why there is nothing mentioned about the broadcast on the site yet, do you think it's not worth writing about it or did nobody listen to it (that'd be strange since it was the official world premiere of Meteora)?

  6. I joined the LPU group the second I joined LP.com, it was actually the first thing I did. I disabled all email from LP.com so that could possibly be it, lol. Ineffective way of contacting people, really.

yeah, since you literally get spammed with emails everytime someone joins a group and stuff that probably wasn't really effective ^^

    never mind now anyway.

  7. Simple misunderstanding. I got no email from Dan either way, just saying.

    Just to clear that up:

It could be that you didn't get it because you weren't a member of the LPU group on lp.com at that time but I don't know.

The mail came on Saturday, about 12:40 (GMT +1 hour) and it said:

A message from Dan to all members of LP Underground Members on Linkin Park!

Just a friendly notice, Team LP has already invited all LPU members. Please do not invite anyone to join the site until we tell you that the site is 100% live. I am sending this because one of you (I will not say whom because I'm trusting it was by accident because they didn't know) anyway, someone sent me an invite to one of my other email addresses. Thanx :)

  8. this is ridiculous....inviting non LPU members to get more members for the LPL group.

But posting screenshots from the site is not allowed...omg

This was meant to be a LPU exclusive.... -.-

    exactly what I think.

And Dan worte yesterday: "Just a friendly notice, Team LP has already invited all LPU members. Please do not invite anyone to join the site until we tell you that the site is 100% live."

haha you should give yourselves some warnings for using the board for forbidden stuff. If someone else would have started it he would have been banned or something.

  9.

no way of showing "making of" video now!

    why not? xD

there are bands who are recording something like a daily diary of their studiowork, I wouldn't say they don't have enough stuff or something. 5 songs is almost half of the album I guess :x

  10. yeah, there's no need to warrant those delays, just keep up the good work and learn from situations like those. I'm sure everyone is pleased with what they get from LPL.

  11. Already happened like 5 times. Album out in 2005, album out in 2006, album out in late 2006, album out in early 2007 - bam MTM in May. New album out in 2009, it's already January.

and there was enough complaining about it.

doesn't mean you have to act the same way I'd just say. Take your time to release things properly. It's not always smart to announce things too early. Like LPL4announcements are developing to a running gag if you'll push the release back again and again like LP did with mtm.

  12. I have the confirmation from the person who has all of their (slickmode team) shows.

good luck in getting it then, J never answered me lol. I hope you'll get it.
  13. I have confirmation about it. As i said before, we are still working on it... and as Mark said, we will get it someday, we all hope so.

you have confirmation that someone has the show or what?

I'm still working on that one too, would be a great release.

  14. Meh.

I'm sorry to disappoint people. People complain because I don't announce things I'm doing then when I do people complain anyway. Lose lose situation I guess...I guess it's better to just keep everything quiet.

First exclusive was this show in 2 cam mix DVD format with good audio over it. LP/JZ ftw. The guy that got it for me was RyanJ, who I met at Bonnaroo Music Festival the past year. After meeting such a sincere, nice guy, it's hard to believe someone like that would continually lie to you for months and fuck you over in the end. There's more ways to get it like Felipe said so we're still working on it. Just like with Mountain View 2004 in 2007, I'm not going to give up on getting the show - I am positive we will end up getting it someday. No, no Xero or Hybrid Theory shows, but a Grey Daze show is possible in 2010.

Second exclusive I'd like to keep quiet for now. If you liked our whole ordeal with QWERTY I don't think anyone will complain about it.

I just want you to know Felipe, Nick and I (the main 3 behind these huge exclusives) are not trying to fuck any of you over, we're just trying to provide as much cool stuff to the LP community as possible free of charge. I apologize the first big thing went wrong, but I guess that's what I get for running my mouth. Perhaps future exclusives will be kept quiet until the day of (like She Couldn't) unless someone else tries to spoil it (see: LPA).

lol I always thought it was MFR. It's hard to get it, I've been hunting for it for more than a year now as well I guess. Slickmode is kinda dead they just send you from one team member to another, I'm not sure if they even still have the show. It's a shame we can't really get it, seeing this great setlist and considering it was taped with different cameras and some audio sources were taped.

I'm still not giving it up as long as I don't get confirmation that no one has the show.
