I've never seen those videos from 2001. Thanks!
I initially only knew about the Step Up video from this show. I never knew the full webcast was out there, haha.
-
I can't choose a favorite because every song has a special feel to it (although I still hate Minutes to Midnight). I like Blackbirds quite a bit. It's strange and kinda sad, yet upbeat at the same time.
-
oh, i completely forgot that there were webcast of those shows
thanks
No problem. It's not the best of quality, but it's better than nothing I suppose.

That is so crazy. I recently just started to really appreciate Die Antwoord. XD

$5 says there will be a bunch of people who manage to find a reason to bitch about this show when the full thing gets released. Any takers?
"IT'S A GEWD SHOW BUT IT WOOLD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF U WOOLD PROVIDE MEGAUPLOAD LINX AND RAPIDSHARE OK?? FUK SOME DEMONOID SHIIT!! I MEAN WTF!! AND WTF WITH HD ON OLD SHOWS LOL WTF GET OUTTA OF HERE"

What the hell is No Brain thing?
That's the username of a guy they worked with who won a remix contest for The Catalyst.
-
Have they ever opened with A Place for My Head? Always thought that would be a good song to get the audience hyped at the start of a show.
Yeah, back in the day they did. Springfield, MO show has a video of it.

I saw Jonathan Davis.
THEN MY BRAIN JIZZED WHEN I REALIZED WHAT WAS COMING.
-
Fort Minor Message Boards. They don't exist anymore.
Good times...

In before "Studio time is holding up the new album."
I can see it now.
-
Why didn't they do this all along? Randomly picking a setlist instead of going in order is an awesome idea, knowing that they have fan sites who track down their every move. Now we still get the surprise factor. I like that.

How about a 720p and DVD release with dual audio each?
That sounds like a great idea.

robert downey jr?? dafok
LOL. I was thinking the same thing.
As far as the the "article", it is just an interesting fact. I don't know if it's really newsworthy but I thought it was kinda funny. lol

Composer Jonathan Elias recently announced a benefit album titled Prayer Cycle 2 to be released on May 10th in support of nuclear disarmament.
The original title for the benefit album was A Thousand Suns, but had to be changed when Linkin Park released their recent album with the same title.
"We had the artwork figured out and then they came along, so damn Linkin Park," Elias says with a laugh. "What's also funny is I almost worked with Chester [bennington] on this. Jonathan Davis and he are friends and Jonathan told him about the project. He really liked it but we just couldn't get it together."
Knowing that some members from Linkin Park are still at least interested in collaborating for different causes, it's possible we may hear some more new music arise in the near future!

Wow guys...you really can't figure out what the next single will be?
"EXPLOSIVE" ????
Empty Spaces will be the next single. You can stop arguing now.

Ive played all the ATS tracks on GHWOR and i was bored. Half of the notes were just pressing the button. Very boring. Hopefully these tracks will require a bit more skill...
Yeah, I can see that being a problem.
With all due respect, I don't think it will be any more complex. Place For My Head would win that over.
-
I got a bit feeling that these Multitracks will end up like the GH ones....unreleased.
"unreleased"
lol
EDIT: On more serious terms, I'm actually surprised it's not the exact same pack that was on GH, especially the fact that it's not filled with ATS tracks.

Absolutely did, I can still agree that the claim is too strong. The people who look at our shirts won't understand it, and might think we are a tad bit obsessed. That's a bad thing when you're trying to raise awareness about LPL (which is what shirts do, isn't it?).
I see your point. I was thinking these shirts would mostly be used for a live setting when going to a show and showing your support, but for someone wanting to wear it in school or something it could seem quite strange I suppose.
Sorry for my dick comment. lol

Exactly.
Did you bother to read the post above yours? Just wondering.

I'm really surprised that Wretches and Kings wasn't out sooner (if it will be).
It's a total club song.

I'm beginning to suspect Chester's drum part on the triggers to be fake and sampled. It's only obivous when you keep your eyes on him the entire breakdown. Especially the end. He ends with the same fill that he played earlier, but this time it can't be heard. Plus, he missed that same fill just before. And in the break where he dosn't play, it dosn't look like he comes in at the right spot again. I don't know, I'm not sure yet.
Hard to explain, you guys should go see for yourself.
They're not going to fake playing an instrument if they aren't doing anything. They will just walk off stage. He's playing the part. You are hearing Rob drumming along when Chester isn't doing something.
New KROQ (2001) Footage?

I stumbled across this on Youtube today and don't recall ever seeing or hearing about this recording of the KROQ show from 2001. The quality is pretty fascinating for a 2001 show.
