  1. I'm pretty sure LP gonna play Sweden. It's HULTSFRED, LP need to make up it.

It's awesome that Finland is confirmed. I would go, but I dunno how to get there

I'm still hoping for stand-alone concerts in central Europe (Czech Republic, Poland)

  2. If you really want everything in native language, then:

    1. Moscow>Moskva (100% native - Москва)

    2. St. Petersburg>Sankt-Peterburg (100% native - Санкт-Петербург)

    3. Istanbul>İstanbul

    4. Seinajoki>Seinäjoki

    Strange situation with Athens... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athens

    Αθήνα, Athina...

Also there are something interesting on 2008 page:

12.07.2008 Toronto, ON, Downsview Park, Edgefest

13.07.2008 Québec City, QC, Canada, Bell Stage @ Plains Of Abraham, Festival d'été de Québec

I think this "Canada" in not needed. For example Toronto or Montreal doesn't have it.

  3. LinkinPark: Tour set list of 2009

    01. One Step Closer (w/ Intro)

    02. Lying From You (w/ Intro)

    03. Somewhere I Belong (w/ Intro)

    04. Wake 2.0

    05. Given Up (w/ Outro)

    06. Points Of Authority (w/ Intro & Outro)

    07. Papercut

    08. Leave Out All The Rest

    09. Shadow Of The Day

    10. The Little Things Give You Away (Mike singing it)

    11. No Roads Left

    12. What I've Done (w/ Intro)

    13. Numb (w/ Intro from 2004)

    14. HHH (Accapella)

    15. From The Inside

    16. Don't Stay (w/ Foreward Intro)

    17. In The End (w/ Piano Intro)

    18. New song

    19. Bleed It Out (w/ Intro/Drum Solo & Outro)

    20. Faint (w/ Outro)

For me I think that would be awesome!

Bad and boring IMO. Interesting only New Song and NRL.

I don't wanna "SET X" copy again. I'd like to hear brand new setlist, not a shitty modification, like in summer of 2008.

I believe they'll bring back APFMH... They dropped it only because of We Made It during PR.

  4. From The Inside, No More Sorrow, and Lying From You are all very good visually. The intro to FTI focusing on Brad is exquisite. The LFY intro with the "hands" intro is excellent. Crawling is good but I don't think the keyboard addition is as great as everyone makes it out to be. It's a nice touch and the intro is shot very well (like pretty much the whole DVD) but the keyboard part is yet again another simple piece; definitely nothing to highlight a DVD in my opinion.

Overall, the DVD is fair. After a few more watches, the audio is disappointing. However, visually it is outstanding. Sometimes, has an almost "too perfect" touch to it, but I do like all the additions as far as the rumbling camera and such. The pan from the audience on the stage on the NMS intro is much like the pan of the Rock am Ring 2004 Don't Stay intro, which I'm sure we all agree equals epic proportions. However, the bass is ridiculously loud, and while it needed to be cranked up, it just really takes over and distorts the songs when I'm watching them. I don't like it. Hate to say it, but Pooch did a terrible job mixing this DVD. Live in Texas, with studio additions or not, is far, far superior in the audio department. The performance is extremely mediocre, and I really despise the fact that half the show is during the evening. Chester is always complaining about performing during the day and one of the few times all year they play some of their set with the sun up, they make it into a DVD. Imagine what the DVD would like visually if it had been filmed during PR 08 with the lighting. No More Sorrow would be absolutely insane.

100% agree with you. Video kicks ass, but audio is terrible

Best performances for me - Crawling and FTI.

  5. ZOMG... If it's true, I'M HAPPIEST PERSON FOR EVER... LP AND METALLICA... AAAAAAAAA!

But, it can't be true, because Metallica does arena tour on July :(

So, I think we can forget it.

  6. Hybrid Theory

    1. One Step Closer - My favorite LP track live (and maybe favorite LP studio track). I really love this song... It's full of energy... And I love guitar on choruses ;D

    2. Papercut - I really love this song to listen it loudly. There are LOTS OF energy, I really love songs with lots of energy.

    3. A Place For My Head - Awesome song. I love everything in this song (especially choruses). I like Live In Texas live version (with Mike singing together with Chester).

    4. With You - Very great song. I love song's live-version (how Joe working with on it) and also with great extended intro.

    5. Pushing Me Away - How to explain... I just love this song... But, personally, I like only studio version. PMA live never sounded good IMO.

    6. Crawling - It was my favorite song for long time. It's very great song, but, like PMA, sounds different live. I rather studio version of it anyway.

    7. In The End - Good song, but it's bored for me. Still, every time sounds very good. But I rather studio version too, because better guitar sound.

    8. By Myself - This is good song, but for some reasons I'm listening to it very rarely. Too much screams.

    9. Points Of Authority - BOOOOOOOOOOORED one. I hate it live... Studio is good, but, like I said already - BORED.

    10. Forgotten - Not interesting one. At some points it sounds good, but in other points it's too funny...

    11. Cure For The Itch - Not very good instrumental (Session is much better). Live version of it it's much better IMO.

    12. Runaway - One of the worst songs by LP. I would very happy to never see it live. Everything sucks in this song.

    Meteora

    1. Faint - My favorite LP track of Meteora (One of favorites of albums so far). One thing, which I don't like - Brad's guitar part, it totally sucks IMO, when it dominates Mike's part live.

    2. Lying From You - Awesome song. I love summer 2008 version of it, especially early european, where some samples on second verse were dropped.

    3. From The Inside - VERY good song. I think this is ONLY ONE LP song, which sounds perfect EVERY TIME live. Hope LP won't stop playing this.

    4. Don't Stay - Lyrics aren't very good, but I love music. For me it sounds awesome (and full of energy), but live since 2007 it totally sucks.

    5. Figure.09 - Another perfect song. Typical LP song, but sounds very good. Live too.

    6. Session - Perfect instrumental. I really like it.

    7. Easier To Run - This is a copy of Crawling, but I like it. Would be good rotation with Crawling live, which is bored a bit.

    8. Somewhere I Belong - Good, but bored. TOTALLY. And it sounds very bad live.

    9. Hit The Floor - I like that song studio. But LP wrote this track for studio only. It's impossible to make it sound good live.

    10. Numb - Good one. Bored too (It's the reasong why it's 9th).

    11. Breaking The Habit - Quite unique song, but bored again.

    12. Nobody's Listening - Worst song of Meteora, I think. It sounded good only when it was on 2004 hip hop medley

    Minutes To Midnight

    1. No More Sorrow - The best song of Minutes To Midnight. I like studio version more, because it has all ebows (Live version never performed with all ebows, excluding Third Encore).

    2. Given Up - The song of the energy. I like it. Live too (without Wake better).

    3. Bleed It Out - I LOVE live version. Studio is quite boring, but live is perfect.

    4. What I've Done - Good one.

    5. Little Things - Solo is great and I like acoustic guitar at the start. But ending of the song is awful IMO.

    6. In Pieces - Too short guitar solo, but song is not bad.

    7. Shadow Of The Day - First part of the song is awful, but the second is awesome.

    8. Leave Out All The Rest - Very boring song live. I don't like studio too.

    9. Wake - Not very good and bored.

    10. In Between - I don't like it. It's interesting a bit only because Mike sings it.

    11. Hands Held High - For some reasons I don't like it. Live is AWFUL.

    12. Valentine's Day - I have no comments... I hate that song.

  7. when did he say that 8 songs? in the chat yesterday?

    Yes.

they need to step up! This PR was dissappointing setlist wise cuz they were too alike from last years , save for the closing songs.

Agree, last setlists were bored and awful.
  8. Festivals blow, except Rock am Ring. I rather have some LP only shows instead.

Me too... Actually I'm not very interested in other ("smaller") bands than LP... (excluding Scars on Broadway, Serj Tankian) and stand-alone concerts are cheapier...
  9. Hopefully it's Projekt Revolution USA and Euro Festivals.

    Yay, I'm so excited...

But shit... There are no good festivals in my region (Polish Open'er on July... LP playing in europe usually on June)

  10. 01. No More Sorrow (long intro)

    02. Don't Stay

    03. Given Up (without ANY Wakes)

    04. Lying From You (with 2008 intro)

    05. Figure.09

    06. With You

    07. And One

    08. Papercut (studio)

    09. From The Inside (with outro similar to POA 08 outro)

    10. What I've Done (AMBO intro)

    11. Numb (acoustic guitar and piano version)

    12. Breaking The Habit (with new cool piano intro)

    13. Shadow Of The Day

    14. Crawling (Reanimated intro w / HHH and Mike does Aaron's harmonies on third chorus)

    15. In The End (Extended bridge)

    16. Bleed It Out (only drum solo and singalong)

    17. Faint (full outro)

    ------------

    18. Rotating between Lockjaw, Session, Cure For The Itch

    19. A Place For My Head (long intro)

    20. One Step Closer (with new extended bridge and extended outro with PYRO)

  11. I would like to see

    MAIN STAGE

    Linkin Park

    Metallica

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOFL.... What a joke    But actually it would be my biggest dream  Two favorite bands per one day...

  12. http://www.lplive.net/julienk.php

    Yes but we cover:

    -Linkin Park

    -Fort Minor

    -Dead By Sunrise

    -Chester's many guest appearances

    -Julien-K

Julien-K because DBS/JK are pretty related. We will not cover any other bands (unless LP launches another solo project). I just made an exception to JK since DBS is just JK with Chester.

It really bothers you if we put up JK news? Quite a lot of LP fans are JK fans (including about half of the LPLive staff). LP news is slow and why not talk about their album release?

Ok, sorry for that  ;)
