  1. The EP is fucking brilliant. That is all.
  2. I loved his little rant on being called Mike Shinoda vs. Fort Minor. Who cares what he calls himself as long as we keep getting music.
  3. I mean...that's kind of to be expected after almost two decades? You can technically say that any album released in the early 2000's wouldn't be popular today like it was back then...because, well, music styles were different back then and times are a-changing my friend.
  4. Looking forward to chatting with everyone!
  5. maybe not, but it sounds pretty damn cool though
  6. I tried to attend as many "special event" shows as I could, it got a little bit harder as I got older :'(. The DBS show was pretty amazing. The small venue made it that much more special too. It was nice seeing a different side to Chester.
  7. I think that change in direction is what I admire about LP the most. They make the music they want to make, whether it be hard rock, rap, pop, electronica, whatever. They had stated multiple times that they are always going to try something new, but never release anything that they weren't proud of. I also don't feel that there was any financial incentive for them saying how proud they were of this album, and so what if there was? Making music is their job. At the end of the day it's how they paid their bills and fed their family.
  8. Hard to condense...but these are in no particular order 1. February 20, 2004 - Las Vegas, NV (Meteora World Tour) - My very first Linkin Park show. Won floor admission and meet and great passes through LPU. Meeting Chester and the rest of the band is something I'll never forget. 2. August 1, 2007 - Phoenix, AZ (Projekt) - FIrst Projekt show ever and was able to get front row bar for this show. It poured rain so hard last night and that didn't stop them from rocking. Also caught a drum stick and Mike stood near us a few times. 3. October 5, 2008 - Dead By Sunrise - Tempe, AZ (Club Tattoo) Super small venue, and it was Dead by Sunrise. The end. 4.September 10, 2014 - Phoenix, AZ (Carnivores Tour) It was just a great fucking show. 5.May 19, 2017 - Las Vegas, NV (OML Release Show). I almost didn't go to this show, but something told me I had to. I am forever thankful that I was able to attend and see him one last time. Beautiful show with an amazing set list, and the floor even bounced which was insane.
  9. I'll take someday as an answer. Better than him ignoring that question like he used to
  10. whats this Fort Minor isn't dead talk im hearing about?
  11. i'd pay a lot to see this...
  12. He should just leave LP, start his own band. that way he can be praised with no interference. just he, and the beard
  13. Thanks for the correction. How could I be so stupid?
  14. I love listening to Love line, esp when they are on. Hopefully they'll do a round of stinky pinky.
  15. Well, you do know who we are discussing correct? There is nothing but awesomeness oozing from this man.
  16. I remember the VMAs that year. Was surprised they did OSC, figured ITE was a better fit for MTV at the time, but I'm glad they did.
  17. Right? He slowly descends down.. hands held high. His beard in full, fro gently curled and headphones neatly in place. I wish I was good at photoshop. I have such a vision.
  18. Looks cool, doubt I'll play though. Could never get into 8-bit.
  19. Nothing but the truth my friend.
  20. go ahead, hit play. you know you want to.
  21. A good review from you?? The apocalypse must be near.
  22. He has the voice of an angel, descending from the heavenly clouds, with beams of sunshine and rainbows galore.
  23. that sounds awful lol
  24. It was sometime in 2001 - heard One Step Closer on the radio - the song reminded me of my angst against my step mom ( I was only 13 at the time mind you ). Since then its been nothing but insanity.
  25. Can't for the life of me remember my old username to this site as I haven't been on since ATS being released (was LPRocker88 on LPU for those you who go a bit back). I am really impressed with LT, and let me tell you I was a big skeptic. I am one of those "Hybrid Theory was the best album in the world" people, so when ATS came out I was one of those fans who lost most hope. But I am glad to say after 5-6 plays of LT I have regained my love for Linkin Park. Granted some of the songs are kinda wtf out there, some are completely amazing. I could listen to Lost in the Echo and I'll Be Gone a billion and ten times and be happy. Oh, and now that Brad has busted out of his singing shell - who's next? I'm rooting for Hahn.
