I honestly just take pictures from ebay etc. if they are suitable. To be honest I'd rather have the pics on the site, instead of sending millions of emails asking for permission with probably no reply. If they come forward and email us that they don't like it we remove them. It was no problem so far.
Professional photographs of shows are off limits cause some of them just like to sue.
Most of our stuff is from submissions, my personal collection etc.
Wasn't he busted at some point? I thought his collection was seized or something.
Making money off of concerts sure sucks but it's ok imp to take money if it involves something like selling a tape or put work into getting it transfered.
Either way I guess you found yourself a lifetime job transfering tapes lol.
If it's close to a 1000 tapes and he wants to sell the entire thing at once he sure has to go down on the price. Especially since you can't make all the money back.
For the NIN stuff you could contact Ryan from RITC. For a reason I don't understand this site doesn't list the video sources.
I'd be personally interested in Chevelle and Ill Nino, but I wouldn't be able to transfer them myself. I'll see if the Orgy shows are worth getting.
That's understandable but then he should go down on the price and since no one really wants all of them someone has to go through and resell them. I'm sure you can get rid of most of the stuff quite easily and the smaller/more unknown bands are surely something one would be stuck with for a while and he knows that.
Maybe just coincidence or they just tried to play as many places outside the sunset strip as possible since they already made it there. It doesn't seem to be hard to play the Whisky.
Going on tour with other bands is not that common when you are a small band. I'd guess most of the time local bands filled in (which is a lot cheaper).
Another resource might be music magazines from the LA area but that's nothing you can find online I guess. LA is a big city maybe there is some special publication that specializes in shows of new bands / label showcases.
Dropped the Annex Nightclub a message on twitter, let's see if they reply.
If they really got as far as Wisconsin, they could have played in any of the states on the way.
Maybe Antihero and Corri might be interested in a big portion of this stuff as well. I haven't talked to them but I know they are extreme Slipknot collectors and his Masters upgrade a lot of their stuff plus they collect a big amount of other bands. I'm sure they wouldn't let this chance pass to get the slipknot stuff.
I guess a few people would be also interested in a couple Orgy shows he has.
Just to be clear, he wants to sell his ENTIRE collection at once?
maybe the weather?
It's hard to tell how long their sets were but even LP did 30 minute headline sets in the early days. We know they had 4 finished Xero songs + a few more maybe. I don't think they had 10 or more songs.
This seems not very reliable, Adema played more shows and LP never did the underlined shows. There is NO way they played Frankfurt, this venue is a tiny shithole. London Underworld is small too.
