Please update your download link and remove POA, ITE and QWERTY.

Thanks! You should remove ITE and POA from BBC though, I can't tell a difference. It wouldn't surprise me that ITE from Walmart was never released because it sounds awful, the track is terribly brickwalled

LPCatalog Exclusives: Linkin Park/Jay-Z Mix
[AndOne] replied to michalangelo's topic in Everything Linkin Park
It's different but only slightly. The original is louder than the CD rip. The track quality is about the same but that is also hard to tell if you don't what the original would look like. If the remix was created with mp3's and or/only saved as mp3, there's no lossless version anyway. The spectral looks slightly better for the CD rip but that's something that could be also altered through the "mastering process" / creation of this disc, like the volume for example. -

I know how legit this source is as well, there's no doubt about it. Mark sent me the track too to check it out, I guess I fucked up a little too. I thought the track was real as well as I had no idea about this already existing mashup from over 10 years ago, I never heard it before. -

Interesting, I guess you guys are right then. It's still a legit Warner CD though, I assume that they downloaded it and made this into a CD for internal use. -

Just because you heard it years ago doesn't prove that it's fake -
That's right, but BIO has to be 100% legit because the "Additional instruments" track has the background vocals, and if you leave that out you are missing very important stuff like the piano. You can't create a perfect instrumental from the circulating multitracks. Also the rattle or whatever that is in the first seconds is not even in the multitracks. That doesn't prove anything but the other 2 but What I've Done has this extra ticking in the beginning in the multitracks, of course this could be all removed. But in the end I don't see how someone would go through the trouble to make them this perfect just to pass them off as real. They just seem to be too perfect to me, they sound exactly what they are supposed to sound like, when someone added One Step Closer to HT instrumentals it was obvious instantly. It's not just the levels, if you look at the waveform, they look like album tracks, the volume is the same too. The only thing that seems odd to me is that they lossy but that's hard to tell if there's not much info about the real source. It's not that big of a coincidence that those are the same tracks that were available in the games since those were singles and could be easily from one of those CD's that contained Given Up. If there was a whole instrumental album available to someone we'd probably have more. There's no faked No More Sorrow instrumental either.

The different SOTD synth is a huge mystery itself, but SOTD and WID seem too perfect to be from guitar hero, in terms of the mastering/editing of the tracks. The lengths are also different, not that extra silence at the end proves anything but they seem real to me for those reasons.

I think AAC is not what it used to be, LP's performances there stopped being special when they stopped doing special stuff for AAC. 2000 had the premiere of My December, 2001 acoustic songs, 2003 the world wide premiere of BTH + a great set, 2007 with the choir and tons of other stuff and after that it was just meh imo. 2014 had Daron but it was a short set, they are not headlining anymore, the setlist was so dumb they just took the 2nd half of the set. The Gibson Amphitheatre is gone too. Also KROQ always fucks up the webcast in one way or another, if it's either a bad mix, shitty quality or even a missing song.

There are also completely legit instrumentals for: What I've Done, Shadow Of The Day and Bleed It Out from an unknown source. About the PMA acapella, I wouldn't call it official, as far as I know it's a recreation made from the stems.

To summarize this video: "hey look fans, in case you didn't know, we are playing ALITS" sure it's nice but I hope we are still getting the making of.

Slight update in the OP and updated some entries in the list. Also added pick #34 MTM circle Phoenix black to the wiki page, thanks to loulax07! The new holy pick grail are apparently white Meteora picks! I have never seen one until I watched the PR03 LPTV episode recently. They seem to be very rare.

Good idea, that's the best way to see what we have and what we are missing. I created an extra sheet (you can switch at the bottom). Copy all the dates in there and then we copy the current list in there. I guess it would be the best to the have the order upside down, recent dates up, oldest at the bottom. New list with all shows is added, thanks LGraham! If someone likes to copy the stuff from the old to the new list feel free. Everything is in the new list now.

It's not an exact science, attendance numbers are often just estimates and when a show is sold out they just take the number that's close to the total capacity. Just like everything else it's impossible to get it all right. I think attendance numbers are far more interesting than capacities anyway, so I think it's a bad idea to just look up capacities at the venue websites, as we cant know how many tickets were on sale in the first place. Do you mean an excel list with all the shows?
-
I think most of the stadiums do have official numbers for concerts but that still doesn't confirm the actual capacity for a show as you said, parts are sometimes not used, based on the ticket sales. Open air shows with no fixed capacity are a much bigger problem though.

I already started to work on the code for the site, i have it 90% figured out, there's one issue I wasn't able to solve yet. In the meantime I opened a topic with a google doc to collect the numbers, it will be lot a work. I already added some numbers from the itineraries I have and will add more in the coming days. It would be great if we had access to official records or anything like that, that could help with this. I saw something like that for the Honda Civic Tour so that has to exist for all the other big tours as well, somewhere...

We recently decided to add venue attendance and capacity numbers for live shows to the live guide. There is quite some work involved, as these numbers are not always published. They can be found in various places such as: show reviews, tour books, daysheets or other show related documents: A few rules: - Add as much info as possible, you must add a source where the number(s) are from. Add a link to the source whenever possible - Capacity numbers can change over time due to construction or different seating etc. in venues, if there's a confirmed number for one date, don't add it for the other times the band performed at the same venue. - Add "sold out" if a show was sold out. - Date and city are usually enough to avoid mixups. - Add a comment if you are unsure about the information or if you want to add anything else. If you want to contribute to this project you can do that in the doc linked below. Great suggestions! I can make it work without the need of a drop down menu.
-
Sure it's interesting, we might figure it out for only like 10%-20% of the shows since these numbers rarely get published. Omar's guide has some numbers for older shows, the complete Honda Civic Tour numbers were published somewhere too I think. I have some tour books that lists the capacities for many venues. Otherwise we have to research the numbers for almost every show individually. I think we should turn this into a group project where others can help find numbers and submit them. I like the system that Mark suggested, it could look something like this: Attendance/Capacity: 4,000 (6,000) How would we do it if a show was sold out? If we have only one of the numbers, should it list only one of them? All this stuff needs to be figured out to make it happen database wise.

The vocal tracks seem absolutely terrible to me, completely butchered by all kinds of vocals effects that totally ruin it. The beat is pretty much embedded into the vocals, you can't tell me that's good for remixing.
