Even though I'm not a fan or War, I could actually see it being a good song live

Ok. Thanks! I'm pretty excited about AFI, but beyond excited for LP. I know everyone on here wants some of the older songs to get dropped, and there are certain songs I want to see, but I'll most likely be happy with anything they play, it being my first time seeing them live..... after 9 years of being a fan. They just never come anywhere within 5 hours or so from where I live, so me and my friends are making a road trip to go to the Tampa show.

Man, I was kind of looking forward to seeing them live. Too bad they're not a good band live.

Damn, what a disappointment. Well, anybody know if AFI is good live at least? ha ha

I really hope they drop the shortened versions of ALTNC and Crawling. I would love to see New Divide go, but I doubt that. Also, has anyone ever seen 30STM or AFI? I've heard that 30STM isn't that great live. I'm not sure about AFI though. Will either one of these bands be enjoyable live?

I hope when I see them live in Tampa, they open up with Papercut

It's such a shame. I mean, I get that you can't play everything and they are gonna play mostly hits, but I wonder why they won't just slip in at least one song that hasn't been played in a while from other albums.

Ok. Thanks. If they rotate the non-singles, do you think there is a chance that they'll also rotate songs such as No More Sorrow and WTCFM? What non-HT songs do you think we have a chance of seeing being rotated?

If they do a rotating set lists for Carnivores, what songs do you think they'll rotate in and out each night?

Maybe this is a sign of things to come. I know it's a short set, but the only softer song on this set was UIG. Maybe they'll surprise a on Carnivores and drop some of the softer songs. Won't get my hopes up though.

It may suck suck for some people, but there are longtime LP fans, such as myself, that have never seen them live before and would like to hear some of the older stuff live. I do wish they'd play 6 songs from THP rather than 5 though.

Yeah, hopefully they'll play 20-22 songs though. Also, When Mike said they were adding two songs, maybe he meant full songs. Maybe if they keep the Mike Solo Medley, they'll add a rap verse from THP for the third verse, or do a verse as an intro to a song. Of course, I'd rather there be full songs, but this wouldn't be a bad addition.

How many songs is that on that list? I can't really tell

So do you think they will do rotating set lists as usual for U.S. tours or just keep one constant setlist for all 25 dates?

Please let the other song be Rebellion or KTTK. I know both would be super challenging to play live, but if somehow they could figure out how to do both of them, this would be great. Both of the songs are heavy and though I like the softer songs from THP, this is the Carnivores Tour!! They claimed this tour would super energetic. I know a lot of their past material has energetic songs, but I thought this album cycle was supposed to have a more aggressive theme. Like, I wouldn't care if they hadn't made such a big deal about all of this, but I feel like they are only halfway living up to what they said. They made the aggressive album, but promote the album's message better by putting out heavier singles and adding more energetic new songs to the set.

I really want to see KTTK live, but I have my doubts that it will be good live. I hope I'm wrong though. How long has the band been rehearsing for Carnivores?

Carnivores starts in less than three weeks. I'm so damn excited because it will be the first time seeing the band.

I am! My girlfriend and I are going along with 4 of our friends! This will be the first time I've ever seen them. We are making it a mini-vacation. We are driving 8 hours from Mississippi to go. LP has been my favorite since I was 12 (I'm 21 now). We decided that LP isn't getting any younger, and decided to make a road trip to see them since they never come anywhere close around here. I'm so pumped!!!

I agree. I feel like if they ended up playing AFN, they would end up getting Davey Havok of AFI to sing the chorus.
