  1. I sent in my e-mail to hopefully attend. (I'm from Ventura County). Also, have you guys heard this interview on kroq.com: Mike Shinoda KROQ Grammy Interview Listen to the last minute of the interview. If this is true, lets get a timetable here: 8-bit Rebellion with new LP song in 1-2 months. Then 2 months after that a new single, then the album? (overall that means in at least 4 months we get another single on top of 8-bit Rebellion song.) Also, don't forget to donate for Download to Donate.
  2. Yeah I'm definitely going to Night 2 to see MUSE (3rd time seeing them)!!!! I saw them for the first time at the KROQ AAC 2007 in the PIT. Other bands I'm looking forward to is The Bravery (5th time), Metric (2nd Time), Vampire Weekend (2nd Time), and Cage the Elephant. I'll be driving home from the Bay Area coming back from seeing MUSE in Oakland on the 11th. After that insane weekend, my youtube will be updated with videos. My Youtube Site!
  3. Yah DBS will probably play Saturday, Dec. 12th. My other saturday predictions are AFI and Paramore. For a Sunday headliner, I'm predicting MUSE all the way. (Muse plays in Las Vegas the night before.) Definitely saving up for both.
  4. haha the feud between them is hilarious. However, I'm not gonna take sides, but just take into consideration that Phoenix went out of his way to even mention a fansite in general. Don't get me wrong, I follow LPL first, then LPA, and LPTimes in that order. The only reason LPA even pops into the question is because he did that extensive interview a few years ago with the LPA. Phoenix and Mike are just doing a hilarious feud. Luckily, I'm privileged to have met them both individually in person as probably many of the readers on this site have too. (Phoenix @ the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and Mike @ the KIIS FM 102.7 Fort Minor performance and his Glorious Excess Born show.)

    NME Interview

Yeah I agree that Muse is the best live band in the world right now. (Don't get me wrong, LP is my favorite band of all time, I just think in the "live" sense, Muse!) I saw them perform when I was front row of the pit during the KROQ almost acoustic christmas in 2007. witnessing them produce that much sound and energy for them being a 3 man band is amazing. Then I bought and saw HAARP and that confirmed my point.
  6. I got there with 3 other friends around 6:30PM. (2 of those for the KROQ line) I got my (black) wristbands for the pit from Adam in the LPU. KROQ line had (blue) wristbands. So unfortunately, our party of 4 had to split up. Luckily all the LPUers with black wristbands got in the pit right in front of the stage after hours of waiting in line. Definitely worth it. My friend even caught one of Rob's drumsticks. However, I felt bad for my other LPU friend who got there around 4PM but noticed KROQ giving away their wristbands first and he got his Blue wristband. Unfortunately he got put to the side of the stage after being one of the first ones there. Anyways, here is my footage of "Bleed It Out" and "New Divide." Bleed It Out: New Divide:
  7. I got the reply! Actually, I got both. (LPU and KROQ) I'll see you guys there. I'm coming with a bunch of friends who also got in from the Ventura County Area. One key question though: Which pass would be better, using the LPU check-in line or the KROQ line?

    Stuff

I live in the Ventura County area in CA. maybe the west coast date Mike is referring to is not until the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas 2009. However, wouldn't that be redundant? any ideas?
  9. keep the Muse shoutouts going. too bad that Rise Against is touring with rancid. if i'm not mistaken, i've read interviews that chester has stated he always wanted to tour with rise against. on another note, here's my favorite clip of chester talking about muse (1:50 ish): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDsOqjLE4Uw...re=channel_page I hope Muse is on the bill, and maybe even AFI. we need a rap artist too (Lupe Fiasco?)
  10. Yeah, if papercut and POA is out of the mix, so what? at least there is going to be a new dvd. i've been to 7 LP shows and have heard papercut and POA all those times. if i can't see those songs in DVD format, i don't mind. even though i'm from so cal, i love the idea that they chose it from the MK Bowl show. More outsider fans can get a glimpse of the bigger bands that were involved. (only if they have backstage interviews as special features) the MK Bowl provides a bigger setting and a great way to incorporate it as a DVD. I'll still buy it. just because a few people on here hate it, doesn't mean they should tell people don't buy it. in other news, LP is nominated for an American Music Award in the category of Favorite Alternative Rock Music Artist against Foo Fighters and Coldplay.
