  1. These shows went by quickly! I don't think there will be any shows between now and the Japan shows which is really disappointing. I've been keeping money saved in anticipation of them announcing a show here for almost a year now lol :(

Oh and just a little something I noticed...it says 7:30-7:45pm in the main post. I think they play a little longer than that these days lol

  2. There's many changes I want to make to the current sets but if we're just picking one then I'd have to say

LIES GREED MISERY dropped for No More Sorrow

That was a more realistic choice. If I was to pick any song it would be P5hng Me A*wy or TLTGYA

  3. They lip sync the gang vocals parts. Iridescent for example, it sounds live exactly like on the record. It always sounds the same. They either lip sync or you can't hear them at all.

I'm quite sure about In My Remains, the part when they sing "one by one, one by one" in gang vocals, it's way too perfect live. Phoenix really does sing on the song.

They still sing over Iridescent though. Well, I'm pretty sure Mike does.
  4. Some of you guys may remember that Chester did a piece with Inked magazine back in the fall of 2009. He did another piece with them this month, too, and here is the article

I thought it would be cool to share since news is a bit slow and some people may not have seen this. I think it's a cool article but Chester comes off a bit dickish in this interview. I understand he doesn't like when people copy his tattoos but seriously flames/koi fish/skulls and dragons are definitely not unique, almost everyone that is tattooed has those images somewhere.

I think he was more pissed off at someone having his wife and kids initials on their chest.

  5. You guys have begged for the band to bring back With You since 2007 and A Place for My Head since 2008. They've not only brought both back, but left both in virtually every uncut set they've performed in all of 2012. Then as a bonus they threw in Runaway for summer.

Points of Authority was absent from the entire A Thousand Suns tour. Once again fans begged for it back. Here it is in all it's glory. They even brought Somewhere I Belong back (all of it's cringeworthy qualities intact).

All of these songs are a result the band throwing their hardcore fans a bone. Sure they aren't as rare or "badass" as Figure.09 or P5hng, but they are deep cuts (minus Somewhere I Belong). And yet you insatiable fans STILL complain.

If anything the band should be fully inclined to remove ALL of those tracks in favour of new material off Living Things, but it seems they'd rather rotate Living Things tracks with one another. The biggest problem with the set is this lack of new material. Where is Powerless? Where is I'll Be Gone? Hell, where is Roads Untraveled?

Sure, the set may be disappointing to hardcore fans who have followed the entire Living Things tour, but to call it "embarrassing" or "horrible" is a laughable statement. There may be an absurd marathon of singles in the set, but since when have One Step Closer, Bleed It Out, Breaking the Habit and The Catalyst been considered poor and boring? Not to mention the inclusion of Lost in the Echo which is still new and heavy enough to deserve a worthy spot in the set without being "another boring single they've played thousand of times". Not to mention this side of the world has yet to even see Living Things material.

So much butthurt for silly reasons.

  6. Something I stumbled across on Twitter. @LinkinMark92 ;)

"the Swedish DJ, whose real name is Tim Bergling, told Rolling Stone. "No one’s doing this approach to the electronic music, so it’s exciting to me that EDM is at a place where it’s even possible to do it like this."

When he says, "do it like this," what he means is put together an eclectic group of artists from all walks of music to make his next album, which he says is due in late spring or early summer. The roster includes Mike Einzinger of Incubus, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, disco king (and David Bowie and Daft Punk collaborator) Nile Rodgers as well as Mac Davis, the country great who wrote the Elvis Presley hits "A Little Less Conversation," "Kentucky Rain," and "In The Ghetto.""

  7. Not a live mistake, I'm not sure if it's a mistake at all. In second verse of Papercut it goes like this

Everybody has a face that they hold inside

A face that awakes when I close my eyes

A face that watches every time they lie

A face that laughs every time they fall

I'm pretty sure that is supposed to be "when they close their eyes"

I'm pretty sure Mike has said that in the live version a number of times but in the studio version it's "when I close my eyes"
